THE HARRINGTONS AND THE HENDERSONS LOOKED AT ONE ANOTHER. "THE GATE,"

The six children headed down the stairs.

"I don't understand. You seen this before?" Robin questioned.

Sofia nodded at Robin's words.

"Not exactly," Steve answered truthfully.

"Then what exactly?" Robin questioned again.

"All you need to know is that it's bad," Steve said.

"Really Bad," Sofia added.

"Like, end of the human race as we know it, kind of bad," Dustin added further.

"So bad," Ryan concluded.

"And you know about this how?" Robin asked.

"I'll tell you later." Sofia snapped at Robin.

"Geez Sof, calm down." Ryan whispered.

"Um, Steve? Where's your Russian friend?" Erica questioned, which got the teen's attention.

Steve looked to where he knocked the guard out, he was gone.

"Shit." Steve cursed.

Steve opened the door and saw the guard he had knocked out talking with the other guards. A guard noticed Steve and the group ran.

They opened the door, scientists looked at them confused before they heard more Russian guards chasing them.

They started to head towards the gate, pushing other people as they went.

They were now up close to the gate and had nowhere to run. They turned around and made a couple of turns before they finally came into the room.

Steve and Sofia began to hold the door back.

"Shit," Dustin said when he realized there wasn't an exit.

"Robin, come here. Help us." Steve told Robin.

Robin joined them and the three teens tried their best to hold the door back against the Russians who were much stronger than them. Ryan was about to join them when Sofia stopped him.

Sofia used her powers to help keep the door shut, her nose running with blood as she began to yell as if she was in pain.

Robin looked at her in worry and in panic when her nose began to bleed.

"Sofia stop! Just let me help!" Ryan told her.

"No!" Sofia lifted her head and pushed Ryan away, Robin's eyes widened 'Did that really just happen?!'

Ryan knew Sofia wasn't going to let him help, so he stopped fighting and looked away. He's seen what happened to Eleven when she gets worn out and he didn't want that to happen to her and She knew that but she can take care of herself.

"Come on!" Dustin shouted to the teens.

"Go! Just get out of here!" Steve yelled at Dustin.

"Come on now!" Dustin yelled at them to come with him, Ryan, and Erica.

"Dustin!" Sofia yelled at him as she groaned.

"No! Just go, get some help, okay?" Steve pleaded.

Dustin didn't move, he just looked at the three teens.

"What are you doing? Go!" Steve yelled at Dustin.

"I won't forget you!" Dustin yelled.

"Go!" The three teens yelled at him.

The Russians busted the door open, gatherers around the teens who held their hands up in defense.

Steve was held in another room for interrogation.

Sofia was separated from Steve and Robin as she used her powers to fight back, they stuck something in her neck.

They drugged her.

Sofia woke up moments later. "Finally you're awake One." That sent a chill down Sofia's spine.

One.

"That's not my name." Sofia spat at the guard. "I'm not telling you anything."

The guard only looked at her with an eery stare which creeped her out. "You can't hide your past anymore."

"You don't know anything about my past," Sofia said, looking into the guard's eyes.

"But I do, I know what you've been doing since you left home and who you spend your time with. Do you wish that I hurt them too?" He asked.

"You wouldn't dare," Sofia looked at him in anger. "I'll kill you."

The guard looked at her with the same amount of anger. "You won't and you know that. Come on out now Two."

Sofia didn't believe his words till she saw Two, but she didn't look as nice as she did.

Two walked up to Sofia and punched her in the nose, making it bleed.

Sofia looked Two in the eyes, Two wasn't the same.

"How did you find us? If you lie, we'll cut your brain out." The guard asked.

They put Sofia on a table, still tied up. A doctor is ready at any given moment.

"I'm not scared of any of you," Sofia said as blood went inside her mouth, she heard Steve's screams. "What are you doing to him?" Sofia questioned, wanting answers.

"I'm sure your friend is fine." The guard said with an evil smile.

"Liar!" Sofia yelled at him.

"Two." The guard instructed, Two punched Sofia in the stomach, and Sofia groans.

"Who do you work for One?" He questioned.

"I don't work for anyone." Sofia saw the guard look at Two. "Wait wait wait-" Sofia was cut off, Two punched her again.

They continued to beat Sofia, They tied her hands to a belt that was tied to the ceiling as they began to torture her.

Sofia screamed, more and more and they hurt her, they cut her and beat her with kicks and punches as they wanted answers, but Sofia wasn't giving them any.

"I'm told you everything I swear!" Sofia pleaded. "Stop hurting me please!"

They didn't seem to believe her and they ignored her pleas and punched her in the face again.

"Two please, remember me. It's One from the lab." Sofia begged.

"Don't listen to her Two, she's making lies." The guard told her. "That's all she's good at."

"Two please," Sofia pleaded.

"Two, do I want what I told you to do." The guard instructed.

Two shook her head and looked at Sofia with tears in her eyes. "One?"

"Yes, yes it's me." Sofia smiled softly.

The guard put his gun to Two's head and shot her.

"No! No! Two!" Sofia screamed.

"It was such a shame she had to die, wasn't it?" The guard looked at Sofia, who had tears falling out of her eyes. "And it's all your fault.

Sofia grew mad and kicked him in the face, and he shot his gun at Sofia.

The bullet hit the upper part of her left arm, she started to breathe heavily and ignored how much she wanted to scream in pain.

Suddenly the door opened, revealing Dustin, Ryan, and Erica, Dustin tazed the guard, knocking him out as they threatened the doctor who just ran away.

Dustin began to untie Sofia. "Come on." Dustin grabbed Sofia, and Sofia pulled away.

"Wait." Sofia went and held Nat's body. "She needs a funeral, I need it."

Dustin nodded at Sofia before they made their way out of the Russian base.

Ryan met them on the way to the elevator and hugged Sofia tight. "You're okay."

"If this is your definition of 'okay' I'm gonna start felling sorry for you." Sofia smiled.

Ryan looked at Sofia for a good minute before realizing she got shot, his gaze harden.

"Who did this to you?" Ryan asked

"Does it matter? I'm here and he isn't, shouldn't that be a good thing?" Sofia told him. "Besides, I brought a friend." Sofia guestred to Nat's body with sadness.

"Sofia-" Ryan started.

"I couldn't leave her here Ryan, she deserves to be free." Sofia cut him off.

Ryan nodded. "Okay, okay. After we get out of her, you're getting checked out."

"Ugh," Sofia rolled her eyes. "I hate you."

"Love you too." Ryan smiled down at her.
