10. The Date(Bonus Chapter)

THE BROWN-ORANGE LEAVES FELL FROM THE TREES IN ODD TOWN OF HAWKINS. Fall was more of the calmer seasons which made Sofia love it, alot. Her plaid flannel and jeans along with her vans just added with it as she walked home from school with Ryan.

"I mean I just, it was absolutely crazy!" Ryan exclaimed. "You should have seen it."

"Ugh I know," Sofia groaned. "How rad was it?"

"So rad!" Ryan chuckled, Sofia groaned in response.

"Stop gloating, I don't want to hear anymore!" Sofia yelled.

Ryan chuckled in reply. "Are we still gonna carve pumpkins tomorrow?"

"Does two plus two equal four?" Sofia teased.

"I actually hate you," Ryan rolled his eyes.

"No you don't," Sofia remarked. "You love me."

"Sometimes I hate that I do," Ryan muttered.

Sofia threw a stick at him making him groan.

"Hey!" Ryan scolded.

Sofia shrugged her shoulders as she played clueless. "Can't believe we graduate this year." She muttered.

"Don't remind me," Ryan bumped his shoulder with hers. "I'm not ready."

"Nobody is," She looked up at him. "I should have brought my sunglasses."

"Because Robin is as hot as the sun or-" Ryan was cut off my a shove.

"Oh come off it!"(She's a brit now sorry) Sofia glared.

The two kids walked into Family Video, and went into the comedy aisle.

Ryan raised his hands up in surrender. "I didn't mean it!"

"Didn't mean what?" Keith appeared.

"Nothing!" Sofia snapped.

"I was just asking," He mumbles before walking away.

"So, what movies are we looking for?" Ryan asked.

"Well what movies would Robin want to watch?" Sofia looked at him.

"I may be her friend but I definitely don't know her taste in movies." Ryan shrugged.

"The Breakfast Club," Keith spoke up, causing Sofia and Ryan to stare at him.

"What?" Sofia asked.

"Get the breakfest club," Keith spoke again. "She hasn't seen that one yet."

"Oh," Ryan realized. "Thanks."

They picked the movie up from the rack as well as Fast Times(ifykyk).

"Fast Times huh, good choice." Keith commented.

"Uh thanks, I haven't seen it yet. Might as well watching it as I write my essay." Ryan sighed.

"You'll be in for a treat." Keith smirks. "Both of you."

"Last time I checked Halloween was a few days ago," Steve joked.

"Dude just stop," Robin glared at him. "Such a dingus."

"Nice to see you guys too," Keith rolled his eyes.

"He's been like this since the ride here, you can have him back." Robin rolled her eyes.

"I'm perfectly fine!" Steve exclaims.

"With how many dates you've been going on, I wouldn't be." Sofia quipped up.

"See! She gets it!" Robin exclaims.

Sofia blushed when Robin's hand brushed against hers, that didn't go unnoticed by Ryan.

"That will be fourteen dollars from the both of you." Keith rang them up.

"Oo what movies are you guys getting?" Steve asked.

"None of your business," Sofia pulled out her wallet.

"Fast Times and The Breakfast Club," Robin read the titles. "I think I'm gonna crash at the Harrington's tonight."

"Well maybe it's a good thing I have a date, I don't have to hear you talk how bad the characters are." Steve joked.

"Ow!" Robin hit him on the head with a book, Sofia chuckled at the interaction.

"Well, I got an essay to write and a girl to call so if you excuse me." Ryan paid for the tape and began to head out the door.

"See you later, Robs!" Sofia smiled.

The two exited the store, Sofia with a bright smile.

"It's like totally a date right?" Sofia asked.

Ryan shrugged. "It's only a date if you make it a date."

Sofia sighed. "Okay, then we need popcorn, lots of it."

"Well don't expect- fine let's go." Ryan sighed.

Sofia giggled with glee. "You're the best!"

"I know," Ryan smirked.

The walk to the store was rather short to their suprise. But nonetheless they were looking for what they had come here for.

"Caramel popcorn?" Sofia looked in bewilderment. "Who the hell eats caramel popcorn?"

"Well somebody does," Ryan appeared at her side. "I thought you picked the popcorn already."

"Nope, still deciding." Sofia looked to the side.

Ryan looked at the popcorn infront of them before picking one for her.

"I like this brand and I've seen Robin eat this plenty of times." Ryan explained.

"Okay, let's go with that one." Sofia decided.

"I wasn't giving you much of an option," Ryan chuckled. "It's getting late."

"Geez," Sofia mumbled. "No need to rush me!"

The two paid for the popcorn and soda(Ryan got it) before leaving and heading to their separate homes. Ryan dropped Sofia off before heading to his house.

Sofia walked into her house and was instantly met with the smell of hairspray, making her cough.

"Steve," She coughed. "What the hell?"

"I'll be out in just a minute!" He exclaims from the bathroom.

Sofia gagged as she headed to her room to change her clothes. Sofia left her room and headed downstairs, sat on the couch and began to read a book.

After five hundred years, Steve finally came down the stairs. Sofia rolled her eyes.

"Took you long enough," She looked up at him. "It smells gross by the way."

Steve comments. "It wasn't even that much."

"Don't you got a date to pick up?" Sofia asked.

Steve's eyes widened as he realized. "Shit, shit!" He rushed and looked for his keys.

"Don't do anything stupid till I get back!" Steve told her.

"How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you!" Sofia remarked.

Steve left in a hurry while Robin has been standing at the door with flowers for five minutes, freaking out. The two shared a look.

After finally calming down, Robin knocked on the door. Sofia rushed to open it.

"Hey," She greeted.

"Hey!" Robin smiled back.

The two girls stared at eachother before Robin spoke up again.

"These are for you!" Robin held up the flowers.

"Thanks!" Sofia blushed. "Come on in."

Sofia locked the door after her and Robin made her way to the couch. Sofia placed the flowers in a neatly placed cup.

Sofia went to the kitchen and began to heat up a bag of popcorn. After it was done, she headed back to the couch, put the tape in and sat down.

"You can move closer you know," Sofia looked at Robin. "I don't bite."(unless you want me to lmao)

Robin scooted closer to Sofia, she was a blushing mess but Sofia didn't mind it. She found it quite endearing.

As the movie went on, Robin got more comfortable. Robin went to grab popcorn the same thing as Sofia, their hands brushed and they both whispered apologizes. As they realized they just laughed together.

The movie came to an end and Steve wasn't back yet.

"I'll be right back," Sofia went to the bathroom.

Robin let out a sigh of relief, she had been a mess all evening and how Sofia didn't notice was just a shock to her, considering everything else.

Robin decided to go upstairs and check out Sofia's room, but she first stopped at the bathroom. She had went to knock when the door opened.

Robin took a sharp breath as she realized just how close they were.

"Hey," Sofia spoke.

"H-hey." Robin's eyes widened.

The two girls looked at one another before Sofia closed the gap between them.

When they pulled away, Sofia began to mumble out apologizes but she was quickly shut up when Robin kissed her again. The two girls made their way to Sofia's room and shut the door rather quickly.

Maybe it was a good thing Steve hadn't come back yet.
