Chapter 15 - Crashin' A Car
Nadwe's POV
(you already know what's about to happen)
After Nadwe's mental breakdown, he got up and walked upstairs. He saw the emptiness of the cabin, reminding him that was taken away from him. He slowly walked out of the cabin, seeing Betsy gallop by. "Hey, Betsy." Nadwe greeted, slowly trying to get on her. Being the Betsy she was, she panicked, running around as soon as he got on her, neighing like she was getting killed. Soon, Nadwe was flung off, landing on his face as he was thrown to the ground. He saw Betsy run away in fear as he got up and got his top hats on. He wiped the dirt off his tuxedo and walked to leave. He walked down the hill into the greenery, and in the corner of his eye, he saw an abandoned camouflage-looking jeep.
Jackpot.
He opened the door of the car, taking the front seat. He noticed the car needed to be turned on so he just started pressing random buttons until the car turned on. He looked down at the radio and saw that a country song was playing. Nadwe put his seatbelt on, then put one hand on the steering wheel, and one on the gear shifter. He shifted it to reverse and pushed on the pedal. Although they didn't have cars, Tbh was able to teach Nadwe the basics of driving in case of emergencies. Once he was done reversing he shifted it back to normal drive and began driving the jeep.
It was difficult at first trying not to let the steering wheel go crazy and crash, but he soon got used to it. His foot was slowly putting pressure on the gas as he was starting to speed up. He noticed the outside view. Seeing the mountains from afar was mesmerizing, he almost couldn't take his eyes off of it. Until, when he looked in front of him, he noticed the gorge with the broken bridge. Quickly, he swerved left to avoid crashing, the car nearly falling into the gorge and into the river.
He continued driving, speeding up a bit more so he wouldn't waste time. He sped up until he saw the edge and turned the steering wheel to go around. He needed to get to his friends as soon as possible, so he kept speeding up until he was at the maximum limit the car could get. His hands gripped tightly in the steering wheel, taking lefts and rights to the courtroom.
After about an hour of driving, he saw the courtroom in the distance.
Finally!
He felt a wave of euphoria as soon as he saw the courtroom. So much so, that he didn't notice the deer in front of the car until the last minute. Nadwe noticed the deer, swerving right as fast as possible. The jeep flipped over, rolling over and over. He held onto the steering wheel as tight as possible as the jeep kept rolling. The car kept rolling until the front of the car crashed into a tree trunk. Nadwe's head hit the steering wheel, and he passed out.

Nadwe slowly woke up, hearing the ring in his ears and the car alarm. He looked at the steering wheel and saw blood drop from it. He put his hand on his head and saw blood on his hand. The car was sideways, the front being nearly destroyed from crashing into a tree trunk. He put his seatbelt off, lowered the window, turned into a bat, and shimmied out of it. He felt dizzy but still felt okay. Nadwe saw that he was at his destination, the courtroom. Don't worry, guys, I'll get you. He thought, before flying into the courtroom.
I know this is short, but I just wanted to get this in on time (641 words)
