Ship: Allysfor1 (Romantic Im assuming thats what they wanted) 

Ally walked into the fancy party her parents were hosting as a celebration for Mira HQ the company her parents owned for finding new participants for the trip to Polous, it was supposed to be a social experiment but Ally honestly didn't see it. She stood by the food table snarifing down food. Whatever she could get her hands on. She heard footsteps approaching her as she stuffed a pinwheel in her mouth.

"Ally dear we'd like you to meet someone." A womens voice asked sweetly. Ally recognized it as her Moms and she spun around not realizing her mouth had cream cheese smeared . "Darling please wipe your face. We want to make a good impression." her mother whispered to her. Ally squeaked in panic and wiped her mouth off with her arm. She watched as her dad was walking towards her with a young man around the age of Twenty-one walking beside him. He had curly brown hair and dull brown eyes. He had scars scattered around his face and he looked like he hadn't slept in weeks but as he approached her he seemed very awake. He wore an orange suit and had black dress pants on that were rolled up to reveal rainbow socks along with dress shoes.

"Ah darling meet our new captin for the Skeld." Ally's father said looking at Allys mother, "He's been working with us for awhile now just he's just been a crewmember you're finally a captain how do you feel?" He asked the timid brown haired kid next to him, slapping him in the back as a friendly gesture.

"Alright sir." He responded simply although Ally was sure she saw a flash of rage in his eyes when her father patted him on the back. Although it disappeared so fast she couldn't be sure.

"Now Captin meet my daughter Ally." Her father said, gesturing towards Ally. When the captain looked at Ally his eyes widened but they went back to normal after a second. He stuck out a hand to her and Ally accepted it.

"Nice to meet you captain." She said to him.

"Call me Socks." He responded, "Captain doesn't suit me at all." He whispered, lowering his voice to where only Ally could hear. Her mother swept towards him in her dress and smiled at him.

"Call me Sarah." Ally's mother told him. Ally's father stepped up behind her mother and said.

"You can call me Erik."

"Alright Sarah, Erik." Socks responded. dipping his head each time he said their names.

"Why don't you get to know each other." Sarah said as she gently nudged Ally towards Socks. Ally looked back towards her mom as Socks face turned pink. Both of Allys parents walked away and Ally breathed out in relief in sync with Socks.

"They're intense aren't they?" She asked. Socks tilted his head back and let out what seemed like forced laughter.

"Yeah I guess you could say that." He shrugged, losing his joy in seconds.

"So Socks, what made you want to join the Skelds crew?" Ally asked. He grabbed the collar of his suit and pulled on it like it was choking him.

"That's- umm Classified." He said simply, Ally noticed fear in his eyes. "How do you feel about being the daughter to the owners of one of the biggest space companies out there?" He asked her.

"Its pretty normal actually." Ally shrugged. Socks and Ally fell silent after that she watched as Socks stared at the table of food wistfully. "Are you hungry?" She asked him he blinked and looked at her surprised.

"No..." he said hesitantly. She looked at him skeptically. "Fine I'm starving." He finally said. "But I can't eat." He told her. She looked at him in confusion.

"What do you mean you can't eat?" She asked.

"S-something happens, Again it's- Classified.." He told her. She gripped his shoulders and looked him in the eyes. His face grew red and he shrugged her hands away. Ally felt her face grow hot and she broke eye contact with him.

"Are you sure?" She asked him. He nodded and she sighed. His face looked worried and she could help but feel her heart shatter at his sudden change of mood. There was something off about him but Ally couldn't help but feel like pulling him into a hug. So that's what she did.

"You really shouldn't trust me." He told her as she released him from the hug.

"Why shouldn't I?" She asked. She could feel the fluttering feeling in her stomach and she heard a loud ding that echoed on for a few seconds then it had some air time and it rang again.

"Huh?" She glanced at a large clock hanging on the wall; the large hand and the small hand were both pointing at twelve. "Oh its twelve o'clock." She observed. She glanced at Socks and for some reason part of her expected him to run off yelling that he couldn't stay but he just stood there staring at the clock.

"Oh wow its late." He said awkwardly. Ally nodded in agreement and he turned around and started walking away.

"Hey where are you going?" She asked him, he glanced at her and sighed.

"I have to go alright?" He said. Ally paused and she impulsively kissed him on the cheek. He took a step back in surprise and she smiled at him.

"Good luck on your mission and be safe." She said. He nodded and smiled at her too.

"I will." He promised as he opened the door and left.

"You better." She whispered.

This took me abit and I got lazy towards the end but I did enjoy writing this.
