Chapter 5: A Text

I sighed as Zane and I made our way towards the theater to meet Aphmau and the others. I had a long conversation with Dylan about family and everything. He mentioned that Max was moving out of the state with his family soon so I might want to see him soon. It kind of made me feel sad but I'm still happy that he found someone that he loves and had a kid! It's just that I can't believe that he is moving. I looked over at Zane, "Sorry, you were probably left out when I was talking to Dylan." Zane looked back at me, "No, It's fine. It happens a lot." "R-Really? That's sad... I promise the next time I'll let you talk too! It's just I haven't seen him in a while and I just got too excited..." "Nah, It's fine I really don't care." We walked into the cinema doors as I spoke, "It would be fun to meet my brothers, they're not mean or anything. They are actually really sweet!" I smile at him. He was about to reply when Travis interrupted by hugging me, "(Y/N)! I thought you said that you would come back! Are you okay?" I blushed and tried to push him off, "Y-Yeah I'm fine," I struggled to get him off. Zane sighed and helped me pull Travis off. "Travis she is obviously trying to push you off." "H-Hey I can get any girl I want!" Travis protested. "Really now?" I shook my head and interrupted the two, "Stop, I don't want this to result in a fight."

I sighed as they silently started bickering to each other. Giving up, I walked over to Aphmau and Aaron and greeted them. "Hi (Y/N)," Aphmau said with a smile, "Are you okay? I didn't know you disliked horror movies." I smiled at her, "Yeah I'm fine. I guess just being raised with a lot of younger siblings kind of affects that." She sighed, "Yeah well we better get home, I wonder what Katelyn is doing..." 'Katelyn, she really does owe me.'

Once I got inside the house I ran upstairs and knocked on Katelyn's door. I wasn't that mad.. but she does owe me. "Come in," her voice rang from inside of the room. I opened the door and shut it behind me before turning towards her. "You owe me Katelyn." "For what?" She questioned me. I scoffed, "For what? Aphmau made me go on a date with Travis because you refused to!" "It isn't my fault that you didn't say no." "You knew she would ask me! And of course I would say yes! She let me live here, that's the least I could do for her!" "Then why are you complaining to me?" I stopped and turned around opening the door, "It's no use to try." I walk out and shut the door behind me before my phone rings, signalling that I got a text. I look down at my phone...

Dylan: Hey It's a good time to see Max! Max, Lucas and I are at his house. The address is (Random address). I won't tell Max that you're coming, I'll keep it a surprise.

I smile and send back, "Thank you, I'll be there in a few minutes." I walk over to Aphmau's room and knock on the door, "Hey Aphmau I have a question." Aphmau opens the door, "What's your question?" "Do you know where Zane lives? I want to go somewhere with him." She smirks, "For what reason?" "I want him to meet my brothers, he seems like a lonely person so maybe he can get to know them." She nods agreeing, "Yeah, he lives a couple houses down, you won't miss it." I thank her and wave goodbye as I walk down the stairs and out of the house.
