The ticking of a clock in my room echoed against the walls, causing me to grow aggravated. "Just shut up!" I groaned, pulling my pillow over my head. It was late and I was tired, but the clock refused to let me sleep.

The sound of a Discord phone call pulled me from my thoughts. I picked up the device and answered, putting the phone up to my ear. "Hello?" "Laska! Hey!" I grinned at the sound of Dream's voice on the other end.

"How's it going? I heard the weather in Houston isn't the greatest right now." Rolling my eyes, I laughed lightly. My brother must've told him the weather was shit, but I loved it.

"Oh! I'm doing great. I love the rain, but Sapnap does not. He's like a cat, he hates water. That's why he smells so bad." We began to laugh together, his wheezing bringing me life in the dark abyss I called my room.

"Well anyway, how are you?" I asked, pulling my blanket up over my figure and rolling over. "Good, I've just been editing for my new Manhunt video." I hummed in response, showing him I was listening.

"Dude, when are you going to let me do one of those with you guys?" "Hah! You wish! I doubt you could even beat me in a PVP battle." I raised an eyebrow. "You wanna bet?" I heard a sigh come from his end, Dream realizing he had messed up by challenging me.

"Sure, whatever. You better stream it." He laughed. "Or what? You'll stare at me with those cold, dead dots that you call eyes?" "Fuck you." "Gladly." Wheezing came through the line as we both started laughing again.

"Well, I'm going to head to bed. It's three in the morning here and I'm tired. If Sapnap knows about me being up this late, he'll kill me." I told him, glancing over at the clock with narrowed eyes.

"Alright, goodnight Alaska." "Night Dream." The call ended and I turned my phone off, deciding to sleep with my head under the pillow so I could block out the ticking of the clock.

Dream was my best friend, no doubt. I've known him as long as Sapnap and we seemed to automatically click after he introduced us to each other. Though, I've never had the luxury of seeing Dream's face. To be honest, I'd blind myself if I ever did.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't catch feelings. I totally had, and I feel like he knows. It's obvious. The way I flirt with him despite his attempts to make me stop, it's all in good fun.

I fell asleep thinking about him and his refreshing laugh.

The next morning, I awoke to Nick ominously standing in my doorway, making me a bit weirded out. "What the honk are you doing?" I asked, picking up that habit from talking with Karl too much. "You were up till three last night."

"I can explain...?" Before I could say anything else, he ran at me. I screamed, his body landing on mine as he flopped on top of me. "Ow! Nick, stop! Get off you bitch!" I snapped, squirming underneath him and trying to get out from his trap.

"Fine. Get ready, we're going to Dunkin' this morning." My brother said, getting off and holding up a peace sign before leaving. I rolled my eyes before getting ready, putting my clout goggles on to add to the aesthetic.

I had a sudden idea and smirked, grabbing my phone before snapping a photo and posting it on Instagram. (I don't have Instagram, so please don't come at me-)
