when I walk into the kitchen I scream. "jorden?!" he smirks "would you call me cliche if I said the one and only?" I gasp he looked hurt burns circling his wrists dark shadows under his eyes that looked more of a swamp green then jade. "you look like hell" I state.he nods "makes sense just came from it" I gasp "you came from hell?" he chuckles "seriously Greenberry you believe in heaven and hell but not fairies and mermaids?" he's so aggravating "no I don't but I was trying to belive you!you know be a good friend?!" I take a deep breath "just give me a minute I have a little girl to check up on" he looks confused "you don't have any siblings?" I nod my head "no...but you do" he went pale making his golden hair seem even more beautiful. "clarity?is she here?" the excitement in his voice was heartbreaking." yeah" I smile half-heartedly "where?" I turn to the stairs "I'll get her" he grabs my wrist "can I come to please?" his eye's shining with such hope and excitement.it breaks my heart to shake my head "I think I should tell her your here rather then you showing up in the doorway" he lets go "ok I understand" I offer an apologetic smile. he drops my wrist and smirks "well go then!" "I can see where your sister gets her attitude from" he smiles "well obviously!".i turn and walk up the stairs to my room. "no sandwichs?" she whines "why don't you come downstairs and make your own?" she gave me a confused stare "now why in the world would I do that?" I smile "someones here to see you" "who?" she says clearly still confused "your big brother" but even before I've finished my sentence she's flying out the door and down the stairs. I follow close on her heels "JORDEN!!" she yells leaping at him so fast it knocked him over. they were lying on the floor clarity holding onto jorden like he would disappear if the wind changed even slightly. she was sobbing and muttering words under her breath.jorden sat up holding her to his chest." shhh it's ok don't cry" he cooed stroking her golden-red hair."theykilledhimandihadnowheretogoso-so...." another sob cut her off."speak slowly Clair I can't understand you" she looked up at him her freckled face cover in red blotches from crying "j-just promise you'll never leave me again?" he pulled her closer "you really think I would ever leave you after 7 years of asking anyone if they knew you if you were alive!" she looked up at him "but-but you left us to join the wieva" jorden's face showed a mix of emotions first surprise then sadness then anger and it stuck "who told you that?father?" she nodded "is it not true?" "no" he growled and sharp canines showed "no he left me! father left me with those people! he left me to get the weekly beatings and timeouts that meant I was locked up in the dungeons for weeks at a time" he looked pained to say the last part "and he told you it was my choosing?"
