Rainbows POV

When I woke up I heard someone stomping up the stairs... Dad's back home... It was the next day. I immediately got up and locked the door so he couldn't get in.

He was probably going to come beat us up. I looked at the clock we had, 1 PM.

I woke cloud up, and whispered, "c'mon sis, let's go, dad's back"

"Ok..."she said still half asleep.

I had a rope ladder and we climbed down, I helped cloud off holding her.

We went to the park, I saw soarin.

He saw us and came over, "Hi girls"

"Hi soarin" I said

We sat on a bench and talked for a bit, and Cloud had fallen asleep on my lap.

A few hours later it started to get dark, soarin made sure we got home, I didn't want to but he did.

When we got home my dad answered the door.

"Oh I've been so worried about you two" He said seeing soarin, "thanks soarin" He pulled us in closing the door, he looked angry, "both of you, basement, now"

I held the now awake cloud close to me.

"GO NOW!" He screamed

We went to the basement, it was cold and bare, besides the box of knives, and handcuffs from our dad's many jail times before we were born.

We were shivering as we were down there, he followed and beat us up, he punched and kicked us. He even cut us with a knife.

When he was satisfied I was hiding cloud behind me.

He left locking us in, the floors and walls were all cement, and there was now blood on the floor.

Cloud was crying in pain, I was holding her. It was freezing, we were both shivering.

Hours later we were both ice cold. And had fallen asleep.

Days past, it was dark, we were hungry, and our dad would come down and beat us up every day.

I heard the door unlock.

A couple people came running down, I held a still sleeping and shivering cloud close.

I saw soarin! And the girls! They immediately came over, soarin kneeled next to me, "rainbow! Are you two alright"

I leaned on him way to weak and was shivering violently.

Shy came over and picked cloud up out of my arms, soarin helped me up, but I immediately fell, he picked me up, wrapping his jacket around me, I was freezing.

We went upstairs, I saw my dad on the ground unconscious.

Soarin layed me on the couch, kneeling next to me, Fluttershy sat on the ground putting cloud on the chair, she was fixing her up.

Twilight came over and said "rainbow, is it ok if I clean you up"

I nodded, still shivering.

She started wiping the bloody off my arms and legs. I winced in pain.

Soarin kissed my forehead, "it's ok rainbow,"

I blinked back tears.

He held my hand, it hurt when twilight was using the alcohol stuff.

When she was done I had bandages all over me, I looked at cloud who looked the same as me, all bandaged up.

Soarin picked me up gently, I layed on his shoulder, shivering violently.

"You're freezing dashie" He said, wrapping his jacket around me.

I cuddled into him.

"Cloud is freezing too" Fluttershy said

Rarity had found the blankets from my dad's room she gave one to Fluttershy for Cloud and one to soarin for me.

Soarin sat me on the couch and wrapped the blanket around me it was soft, I smiled slightly.

Soarin picked me back up, the blanket was around me, I felt safe.

The police came and took my father away, cloud was still asleep.

I was sitting on soarin's lap, when he saw me he yelled, "YOU LITTLE FREAKS! YOU'LL PAY! YOU'LL BOTH BE DEAD!"

I hid my face in soarin's chest, as soarin stroked my hair.

My dad was dragged out of the house,

"Dashie, it's ok, he's gone" Soarin said

I was crying, what if me and cloud go into foster care, what if we get separated, what if we're moved out of canterlot, what if I never see them again!

I felt soarin kiss my forehead and I calmed down, I looked at him.

"You're both alright now," He said

I smiled slightly

"How do ya feel rainbow" AJ asked

I shrugged, "sick, and weak" I said with a cough.

Soarin felt my head, "you're a bit warm"

I nodded.

"LET'S GO TO MY HOUSE" Pinkie yelled

I hid my face, I heard Cloud groan.

"Shhhhhhhhh" I heard everyone say

I closed my eyes and fell asleep, too exhausted to go on.

Soarin's POV

I felt rainbow relax, my rainbow princess fell asleep. She snuggled into my chest, and I held her close.

Me and her friends decided to go to pinkie's house to take care of rainbow and her sister cloud.

We went to her house and we layed the sleeping girls on pinkie's bed, and tryed to warm them up. I had wrapped rainbow in a blanket, I saw her smile, she looked like a baby wrapped in the blanket, asleep.

I smiled, she's adorable, I love holding her in my arms, I like that she's small, it makes her even more adorable.

A hour later, rainbow woke up, cloud was just out of it today.

She slowly opened her eyes, "huh..." she said

"Hi dashie" I said

"What... Where... How..."she said trying to sit up but winced in pain.

I helped her lay back down, "Relax dashie,"

She looked at me and the girls.

"You fell asleep and were at pinkie's house" Fluttershy said

"Oh..." Rainbow said, and looked over at cloud, she frowned seeing her still asleep "has she woken up at all"

"No sugarcube, she's been too tuckered out" AJ explained

Rainbow looked at cloud turning to see cloud, "baby?" She said softly

Cloud didn't budge.

"Baby?" She said a bit louder

Cloud's eyes opened, "sissy?" She said then winced in pain.

"Take it easy" Twilight said,"both of you"

"Where are we going to stay" Rainbow asked

People thought for a moment.

"I asked my mom, she said you're both allowed to stay as long as you want" I said, I had been texting my mom about what happened.

Rainbow's POV

Soarin had brought us to his house. We told him and his mom everything that had happened to us, I had to hold back tears, as cloud was crying,

They were both in shock, I held back tears and nodded.

"You're safe now" Soarin's mom said, putting an arm around my shoulders.

I sniffled, ready to cry.

The phone rang, Soarin's mom answered it.

"Hello? ... Oh... Ya they're here... Take them?... They can stay here... Thank you so much... Bye" I heard

"Who was it" Soarin asked

"Child protection services, they said that they were going to take you but they're just going to make sure it's safe for you both to stay here" She said

I gasped with a smile, cloud calmed down and looked at her.

"R-really" Cloud said

Soarin's mom nodded

"Thank you so much" I said almost in tears.

I was laying next to soarin on the couch, he had his arm around me, it was 10 o'clock at night and I all of a sudden got clingy. He rubbed my arm as I layed on his shoulder.

Cloud and Skylar had gone upstairs to bed, and soarin's mom had also gone upstairs to do who knows what.

I yawned and started falling asleep on soarin.

"Are you sleepy dashie"he asked

I nodded

He kissed my forehead, and started stroking my hair.

I closed my eyes slowly falling asleep.

Soarin's POV

Rainbow finally fell asleep, she's been clinging to me for a half hour, but I like it when she does that.

I picked her up and layed down on the couch, laying her on my chest, I stroked her hair as she snored softly.

My other arm was around her.

Her eyes opened slightly, I love her magenta eyes.

"Soar" She said with a yawn

"Ya dashie" I said,

"I love you" She said

"I love you dashie" I said

"Dashie... I like that... You're awesome"  She said

I chuckled, "go back to sleep dashie,"

"Night soar-" She said immediately falling back asleep

I chuckled, then kissed her cheek, "night dashie"

I held her close, and tell asleep for the night.
