Rainbows POV

My dad cut, and punched me, I was in the basement, once he let me out, I grabbed my hoodie and beanie that were by the front door, I ran as far as I could, I heard his curses and yelling at me. I ran tears streaming down my face, blood pouring out my legs, and arms. I had my hoodie in my bag and my beanie on my head. My whole body ached, I stopped in the middle of of the sidewalk and fell too my knees scraping them up, I cried for my mommy to help, she was in work, leaving me alone with dad. I cried in pain, and fear, I fell to the ground, I screamed in pain, feeling the bruises, and my ribs bruised, people started to crowd around me. I saw someone on the phone and some trying to approach me, I got up and tried to run but I fell again, I layed on the ground crying trying to get away from the people, but they surrounded me. I screamed, "NO DON'T HURT ME! PLEASE DON'T! MOMMY HELP! " I was shaking.

A boy around my age slowly came over, my vision was blurry cause of crying, he said, "rainbow? It's me, soarin, no one here is going to hurt you"

Soarin was there? I felt him wipe the tears off my cheeks, I blinked my eyes, and saw soarin!

"S-soarin"I sobbed

"It's ok rainbow" He said he put a strand of hair behind my ear.

I suddenly heard a gun then felt something go through my leg, I screamed for help, I went to look what stabbed me but soarin stopped me.

"Dashie it's ok, just relax,"

I felt blood running down my leg. I saw a few people come over and felt something wrap around the area. A few adults came over, I was breathing rapidly. I heard sirens and people moved out of the way.

I felt someone check my pulse, and heart. "Weak pulse, rapid heart rate, she's pale, and rapid breathing"

I saw soarin move out of the way and a stretcher next to me, I heard "1 2 3" And I got lifted up onto the stretcher,

I was strapped down and was terrified, questions ran through my head, what's happening, wheres soarin, where's mommy, where are they taking me!

I heard a few people get in the the doors slam, I saw people dressed like nurses, one took off whatever was over the wound. I felt the blood being wiped off me a a bandage wrapped around me.

I was still breathing fast, one started asking me questions, "what's your name"

"It's ok sweetie, calm down, just tell us your name and age" They asked

I was to scared to talk. Someone took my locket,

"Madison, here her name is rainbow dash, and she's 9, her parents numbers are on here" Someone else said

The person who I'm guessing Madison was wrote it down.

The ambulance suddenly stopped and the doors opened, I was pushed out of the truck and into the what I'm guessing was a hospital, I was unstraped and put on a bed, almost immediately a woman doctor and nurse got me to a room where I saw other children, I was pushed into a little area and was hooked up to blood pressure machine and was examined, and the changed me into a hospital gown.

I they left and I saw the curtains open, I saw MOMMY! I started crying

She gasped "dashie baby" She came over and hugged me gently

I hugged back sobbing

"MOMMY!" I screamed,

"It's ok baby, mommy's here," She whispered in a sweet tone.

"Wha-what's hap-happen-happening t-too m-me" I sobbed

"Baby you're in the emergency room," She said

A doctor came back, "hi rainbow needs surgery to get the bullet removed stat,"

"Sur-surgery!" I stuttered

"Ya rainbow, you have 5 minutes, and I'll be back" The doctor left.

"Mommy help me, please," I begged

"Sweetie you have to get it removed, I'll be right next to you when you fall asleep" She said

When they came back I was whisked away from my mommy to the operation room, and injected with anesthesia, I fell asleep a few minutes later.

When I woke up I was in a recovery room, I didn't see my mommy, I had a IV going to my right arm and my one leg was all bandaged up and so were my other cuts, and there was something around my chest.

I saw a male doctor come in I started breathing fast again saying, "don't hurt me!"

"I'm not going to hurt you kido, just seeing how you're feeling" He was

"I want my mommy" I had tears in my eyes, and breathing fast,

He came over to me, "it's ok kido, I won't hurt you"

I didn't calm down,

He went to the phone in the room and called for someone else.

A few minutes later a girl doctor came in, she came over to me, "hey sweetie, how are you feeling"

"Terrible" I said still freaked out.

"Why are you scared of him" She asked pointing to the guy doctor

"He's gonna hurt me" I said hiding my face

"He's not going to hurt you sweetie," She said, "why would you think that"

"Daddy does" I mumbled

"Your Daddy hurts you" She asked

"Uh huh" I nodded

She looked at her guy doctor, and gave a nod, he nodded back and left.

"Sweetie, is that who cut you up"

I nodded, "he's scary"

"Alright sweetie" She said,

"Mommy!" I yelled as she came into the room,

"Baby, how are you feeling" She came over

"Everywhere hurts" I said

"Baby, who did this to you" She asked

"... Daddy did..." I muttered tears streaming down my face

"Oh baby," She hugged me, I hugged back and sobbed, I really hope my dad doesn't hurt me again.
