Rainbow's POV

I layed in bed awake but my eyes closed. My boyfriend soarin laying next to me still asleep. I didn't feel right though, my head was hurting, my nose was stuffy, I had chills, my eyes were watery, and my body ached.

Soarin woke up, and started stroking my hair, "hey dashie, wake up"

I groaned, and layed on my back

"C'mon it's time to get up" He said

I coughed a few times

"Dashie?" He said

I slowly opened my eyes

He put his hand on my cheek, "hey, are you feeling ok" He asked rubbing his thumb over my cheek.

"I don't feel good" I groaned as I layed back on my side

He put his hand on my forehead, "I think you have a fever baby"

I usually don't let him call me "baby" But today I don't really care.

"I'm going to go get the thermometer" He said

He got up and I already missed his presence, I watched him leave I pulled the covers over my head falling asleep.

"Baby come on wake up" Soarin said

I looked at him and then at the clock, only 10 minutes went by, I sniffled

He had the head thingy I saw and hid back under the blankets, I didn't like that thingy, it made a loud beeping noise and it just scared me when it did.

"Baby come out" He said

I did

"I know you don't like it baby, " He said, "you want me to hold you"

I nodded, I don't care about anything when I'm sick, only that I'm with someone like soarin.

He got on the bed and pulled me onto his lap, I pulled the blanket up as I still had chills.

I hid my face in his chest

"C'mon baby, it'll be quick" He said

I looked at him with a scared looked on my face.

He used the thing on me as it started beeping, I whimpered as it was to loud, it did a really loud beeps at the end that made me jump and hide my face in soarin's chest, now trembling.

"103.9" He whispered,

He kissed my cheek,

"Baby, it's ok, it didn't hurt you, it's ok, I gotcha, you're alright" He whispered rocking me back and forth.

I still was whimpering and trembling,

"It's ok baby, I gotcha, I know you don't like it but I'm proud of you that you let me do it, you can relax now, it's gone alright baby" He stroked my hair.

I calmed down and relaxed

He layed me back down before kissing my forehead, "I'm going to get you some medicine alright"

I nodded,

He left to get the medicine, I fell back to asleep in a matter of seconds.

I woke up to hear the TV downstairs, I wondered why it was up so loud usually you can't hear it up here?

I weakly got out of bed with the light blanket that was on top of the heavier one and slowly made my way downstairs, I kept coughing and sneezing as I made my way down the stairs.

"Soarin?" I coughed

He came over, "what are you doing out of bed" He picked me up

"What's all the noise" I coughed then sneezed

"Sorry, flash and twilight came to see how you feel" He said showing me them sitting over on the couch, they waved,

I waved back.

"C'mon, let's getcha back to bed" Soarin carried me back upstairs.

He sat me back down on the bed, then grabbed the bottle that was sitting on the table, he poured some of the liquid into a medicine cup then gave it to me.

"Take this, it'll help you get better," He said

I took the medicine, it tasted icky.

I made a weird face and soarin chuckled. I sneezed and sighed.

"What's wrong baby" He asked me

"I don't like being sick" I said,

"I know" He said he brushed back my bangs but then touched my forehead, "you're really warm baby"

He grabbed the head thingy and I immediately hid my face.

He climbed up on the bed and pulled me onto his lap, he layed me against his arm and did the temperature thingy, the beeping was louder than the last time and I whimpered through the whole thing,

Once the loud beep came I started crying,

He immediately tried to calm me down but was looking at the thermometer.

Once I was calm I looked at the doorway to see Twilight and Flash there. Soarin motioned for them to come in.

They came in soarin then said, "she has a 106 fever"

"She needs to go to the hospital" Twilight said

"I know, that's what I'm going to do" He said

"The hospital" I sniffled

"Ya baby" He said to me

He fixed the blanket around me and stood up holding me,

"C'mon, let's bring you to the hospital" He said, but then grabbed two things.

He talked to Twi and Flash on what to do. Twi and flash would meet us there and contact our friends on what's happening.

He brought me to the car and sat me in the passenger seat before getting into the drivers seat.

He handed me the things, my phone and tank, I held tank close as I felt myself getting worse.

We made it to the hospital and now I was laying in a hospital bed. The doctor had gave me a IV and, I was in a hospital gown thing cause they did a few tests on me.

I was terrified! Soarin had been with me but was talking to a nurse.

I curled up cuddling with tank, when my phone started ringing. It was uncle strike on a video call, I answered

"Hello" I coughed

"Hi dashie" He said, "how are you feeling"

"Sick" I sniffled

"Ya, I know you don't like being sick, but I'll be there soon to see you alright" He said

I nodded, I started crying.

"What's wrong dashie" He asked

"I wanna go home" I cried

"I know dashie, just relax" He was walking into a building, "just stay calm alright, take a nap then you'll be alright"

I nodded

"I gotta go, Bye dashie" He said

"Bye" I said

He hung up then I fell asleep.

When I was home I was too tired to walk and was a bit loopey. Soarin carried me to the car and sat me in the passenger seat. He drove home with me half asleep.

"Soarin, I'm sleepy" I said

"I know baby, why don't you go to sleep" He said and held my hand

I coughed, "I can't, the sky's awake, so I'm awake" Told you loopey

He chuckled, "alright I'll getcha to bed when we get home"

"Alrighty" I said with a yawn

Once we made it home he carried me inside and upstairs.

"Lay with me" I said immediately after he layed me on the bed.

"I will, just let me get something" He left me I stared at the door the whole time he was gone.

When he came back I stared at him.

He handed me something I smiled.

It was tank, I had lost him a week prior.

"I found him in the dryer, you must've washed him with your clothes on accident" He said

I was holding him close as soarin stroked my hair,

"I wanna cuddle with you" I said

He smiled and layed next to me, I cuddled into his chest, I sniffled a few times. He looked at the door and nodded. I looked over and saw Uncle strike!

I stared at him and he noticed,

"Hi dashie" He said,

"Uncle strike" I said

"Ya" He said

"I'm sleepy" I said

"Alright, get some rest" He kissed my forehead, "take care of her"

"I will" Soarin said

I had grabbed strike's hand I felt him slowly switch my hand to soarin's as I fell asleep.
