We get to the facility and I throw a pearl to Peter before dropping through the opening in the living room.  I don't immediately turn but wait for peter to fall in, which he does shortly after.

"You ok?" He asks after transforming.  I nod and go up for air before diving a bit again.  I feel a new urge rise in my chest.

"Mermae." I say as if on autopilot, water filling my mouth.  The usual burning feeling covers my legs and I see my tail formed.

"Woah.  You don't need your pearl?" Peter asks holding my hand.

"Apparently I don't." I laugh and dive deeper in the water.  We swim around for an hour before Peter has to go patrolling or whatever.  He detransformed and I help him out of the same opening that we entered through.

"I'll see you tonight?" He asks me, pushing my hair out of my face.

"Of course.  I'll swim for a while, maybe drag another Avenger in and watch them freak out." I say laughing.

"Alright.  Call me if you need anything.  I love you." Peter says kissing me before leaving.  I sink back down happily, and spy a certain Avenger out of the corner of my eye.

"Mr. Bucky!" I say popping out of the hole in the kitchen.

"HOLY FREAK!" He gasps.  "How are you in the counter?"

"I'm in the pool. Duh." I say leaning on the counter and ducking for more air.

"There's a pool?"

"Yeah.  Mr. Bucky do you and Steve want to go swimming with me?" I ask, mischief glittering in my eyes.

"No mr.  just call me Bucky.  And I'll ask Steve.  Where is the pool?"

"In the back.  I'll meet you there." I say before swimming there.
