I surface again and Ironman carries me to the building that Tony rented to study my tail, which has a giant tank in it.

He places me in the tank and gets out of his suit. He looks at it and is in awe.

"That is a tail." He says.

"I know it's beautiful!" I say. The tail is longer than I am tall, it being six feet long and I am much shorter.

"Let's start the examination." He says before leaving to change into a wetsuit. He comes back and gets in the water.

A few hours pass and I'm extremely tired... and can't figure out how to transform back into my human formed self.

"Daaaaad help meee." I whine from the edge of the tank.  I see Tony, or dad look slightly shocked at the name I called him.

"With what Pipsqueak?"

"I don't know how to change back and I'm tired...." I continue whining.

"Let's try drying you off." He says getting in his suit and lifting me out, my scale dry quickly and I start to suffocate on the dry air.  I'm returned to the water.

"That was painful!" I gasp.  I notice the pearls are still in my hand and I tap on it twice.

A burning feeling wraps around my tail as it feels like it's splitting in two.  I let a shrill scream out as the burning continues for another five minutes.

"Pip you ok?" Tony says trying to get int the water, but it immediately burns his skin.  He hears the heart wrenching screams from the girl he's come to see as a daughter.

The steam stops and I look around and see myself standing in the pool of water.

"What what that?" Tony asks concerned, pulling me it of the water.

"The pearl... it's the key to the change." I say before sleep takes over
