Peter sits on the roof of the facility.  Thinking of the past month he'd have.  It's been a terrible March.

"If I could redo that day I would..." Peter whispers wiping the forming tears away.

"Peter you can't predict what happens." Pepper says sitting next to him.

"I know... I just should have used my brain." He sighs.

"At least you followed her and tried to make things better.  That was very noble of you." Pepper puts her hand on the young mans back.

"She still attacked me...  it probably was bad that I confronted her in public."

"Hindsight is a curse.  You could think that you should do things differently, but in the moment you made the best choice you could have with the knowledge you had." Pepper says wisely.

"Thank you miss Pepper.  You at very wise." Peter smiles appreciating the words.

A ball of water is flying towards the facility.  Peter gets Pepper off the roof before it hits.  But ends up getting himself hit.

"Ouch... that hurt." He groans.  Peter sits up soaked and looks at his lap and sees a piece of paper.

"Are you ok Peter?" Pepper asks from the door.

"We got mail!" Peter yells back and walks down with her to see Tony closing the door to the hallway of doors.

"We have a letter." Pepper says handing the letter to her boyfriend. Tony rips it open and reads it aloud.

You refused our request. Now we are at war.  Your best soldiers cannot best us.  Your strongest minds can't resist us.  The half-bait must be destroyed in order for us to survive.

Meet you with war.
