Tip #4: What can the body tell?
Scenario:
You've done it. After killing your victim, you managed to chop the body up so that you can hide it. Taking an electric chainsaw, you hack away, opting for the middle of the thighs and arms. Afterwards, you keep the chainsaw and finish hiding the body.
What went wrong there?
...........
First- never chop someone in the middle of the bone. That leaves marks on either side of the bone and as a result, someone can find out what the killer used.
Also, why keep the chainsaw? Get your hands off of it!
When dismembering a corpse, cut at the joint- where the thigh bone meets the pelvis, arm meets the shoulder, etc., since it's less bone to go through and leaves fewer clues.
Don't keep anything you use for murders. Secondary locations can be compromised; don't risk it. If police get a warrant you have to pray.
Just. Don't. Keep. Stuff. From. Your. Crimes.
