Norkio's POV
The party was exactly what you what expect from a bunch of 15 year olds, the overpowering musk of B.O and whatever cheap alcohol had been mixed with the punch filled the room. Teens littered the house, I can only assume Miyu was somewhere begging an over drunk idiot to put down her family possessions. Back in middle school she held these parties every few months, they always were the same and typically ended up with a fight or just it gets boring.
Walking into the kitchen, we were mainly met with the people at parties who try to help and gather all the plastic cups and litter, and amongst these people was Miyu shovelling vases and items of importance bellow her kitchen sink. Standing up she turned to see the 3 of us, "You guys made it!" I reciprocated her warm smile with a reluctant one, she was the kind of girl who would be nice to your face but not hesitate to chat shit behind your back, so not really my cup of tea. "Of course we did! Wouldn't miss it for the world." Sao said warmly, Sao was the type of girl everyone just find themselves getting along with, whether they like it or not.
Hours had past and the night had only gone in the way I had expected, Sao had disappeared(I assume to try locate Hiroto) and Itsu was on the sofa, clearly enjoying himself about as much I was. Throwing myself onto the seat next to him he turned to me, "Can we leave?" Smiling I nodded, "Thought you'd never ask." The two of us struggled and pushed through the hoard of teenagers to attempt to reach the door on the far side of the room.
Upon feeling the gust of fresh air outside the house I pulled my phone out of my pocket, 9:37, "You know considering we were only there for a few hours, I feel a lot worse than I really should." Itsu let out a scoff mixed with a laugh, "You know what, I wish we left back then." I just nodded in return. We walked together, casual conversation passing between the two of us, until we reached the point we had to split ways. "See ya Itsuu!" I said waving my hand frantically as he walked away in the opposite direction, throwing a small wave back my way.
The nights air was cold yet gentle, caressing my pale skin every so often, mixed with the light cascaded by the moon, the night felt serene. Yet this was broken, "DIEEEEE!" instantly I recognised the voice, and I suppose that was his catchphrase? Surely enough, I turned the corner to see the porcupine showing a poor tree no mercy. "Do you really hate nature that much?" I asked leaning against another tree a couple meters away, "What do you want extra." His voice had the same sass and aggression that it aways did, "Nothing I was just walking home before I heard poor tree be told to die." The boy looked at me with a mildly aggravated look on his face, "Well beat it I'm training!" Sighing I shook my head, "No you're committing deforestation," I said pointing to the tree stump and the fallen, blown up tree on the floor beside it, "and its late, why are you even training at this time anyway?" He scoffed at me as if it was the dumbest question ever, "Heros train, doesn't happen over night shitbag." I frowned a little at the lackluster insult, "Exactly that porcupine, get some sleep theres always tomorrow." A little bit of light began to emit from where his hand hung, I could only assume what would happen next, "SHUT UP!" He charged at me explosions detonating in his hands as he did so. Quickly stomping my foot onto the ground, solididating the particles in the air and turning the surface of the grass to ice, the boy slipped, "I'm not looking for a fight idiot, just giving you some friendly advice." Looking up at me with more explosions in his palm, "We're not friends extra." I kneeled down to eye level, "Not yet porcupine, not yet." Leaving him with that I began to walk home.
