I'm so excited for this chapter, I can't even.

A darkly lit area.

The sounds of shuffling and almost silent giggles.

A click and nine spotlights flash on for a split second.

'Wannabe' by Spice Girls blares out of the speakers.

The middle spotlight comes back on

"Yo, I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want" Connie yells into a microphone

"So tell me what you want, what you really, really want." Another spotlight reveals Steven with a huge smile on his face.

"I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want." She winks at Steven and titters slightly.

"So tell me what you want, what you really, really want." Steven counters mockingly.

"I wanna, (ha) I wanna, (ha) I wanna, (ha) I wanna, (ha)
I wanna really, really, really wanna zigazig ah." She struts to the middle of the stage.

"If you want my future," Spotlight number three has Peridot in an adorable green jumpsuit. "forget my past." She points at Lapis and Lapis blushes as people glance between the two.

"If you wanna get with me, better make it fast." Pearl sings and looks towards spotlight five and it lights up, showing Bismuth who is all too happy to reply.

"Now don't go wasting my precious time
Get your act together we could be just fine."

Connie smiles and laughs. "I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want!!" She now, accompanied by Bis, Pearl, Peri and Steven all step to the beat of the song.

"So tell me what you want, what you really, really want." Steven raps.

"I wanna, (ha) I wanna, (ha) I wanna, (ha) I wanna, (ha)" Laughing Connie pouts toward a dark spot without a light.

"I wanna really, really, really wanna zigazig ah." Amethyst sings it all too well, and with all of her Quartz attitude.

Connie: "If you wanna be my lover,"

Steven: you gotta get with my friends..."

Bismuth, Pearl, Peridot and Amethyst: (Gotta get with my friends)

All: Make it last forever, friendship never ends

"Oh, what do you think about that
Now you know how I feel." Sadie is illuminated under the next spotlight, which gains a few cheers.

"Say, you can handle my love, are you for real?" Steven pipes back up.

Amethyst and Garnet: (Are you for real)

Garnet unfuses and Ruby takes the next line. "I won't be hasty, I'll give you a try."

"If you really bug me then I'll say goodbye." Sapphire blushes and kisses Ruby on the cheek and they fuse again.

Steven and Connie sing together, "Yo I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want!"

Pearl, Peridot and Sadie: So tell me what you want, what you really, really want

Greg:I wanna, (ha) I wanna, (ha) I wanna, (ha) I wanna, (ha)
I wanna really, really, really wanna zigazig ah."

Easy *Pearl* doesn't come for free, she's a real lady
She takes Stevens hand and sings, "And as for me, ha you'll see." She concludes with a wink.

Everyone starts moving again as the stage is fully illuminated and get into a group.

They all drop into finishing poses and sing, "If you wanna be my lover!!!!!!!!"

This is my favorite chapter by far. So much fun to write. It's also fun to listen to the song while you read.
