Celebrían entered the chambers that she shares with Elrond, and she found him seating at a desk doing, Vala, knows what. Elrond did not budge from his work, so she had to improvise. She walked up to her husband and wrapped her arms around his neck, and laughed.

"There you are, 'Melamin.'" Elrond said, turning to his wife. "I thought, I was going to have to come and find you."

"I believe, my father would come looking for me, before you would, 'Melleth.'" She said while heading to the bathroom to change.

"You are probably right." He said turning back to his work.

"I am glad you love me so much." Celebrían said, with sarcasm.

Elrond let a small laugh, still doing his work. He turned to his wife, doing this he hesitated for a moment, but asked anyway.

"Have you felt anything yet?"

Celebrían was silent for the longest, then spoke.

"If you are referring to the 'lápise' kicking. Then no, I have not, and you said everything was alright - ."

"Everything is alright." He said interrupting her sentence.

Celebrían came out of the bathroom in her nightgown.

"Then, how come she has not moved, I feel nothing. Most of the time they start moving within the fourth month, but she has not and I am going on my seventh. I am six months, when I look like three." She said has tears come down her face.

Elrond quickly got up from his chair and tried to comfort his wife.

"Do not cry, 'Melamin.'" He said hugging her.

"I do not understand." Celebrían said still in tears.

"Sh, sh, its alright, everything will be alright." Elrond said ushering her.

"Why, don't you get in bed, and I will be there in a minute, alright?"

Celebrían nodded her head and went to get in bed. After, Celebrían got in bed she started to sing her favorite, as she rubbed her small stomach.

"Hush child, darkness will

rise from the deep,

And carry you down into sleep,"

Her voice was soft and calm as she sang the song she loved to sing. She continued to sing, as she rubbed her stomach.

"Child, darkness will rise

from the deep,

And carry you down into sleep."

Celebrían sang the last note with a smile on her lips. For she has not sang that song in over a thousand years. But, Celebrían's thoughts were interrupted by a small kick from the stomach.

Celebrían froze, her smile faded, did she just imagine it all. Did she imagine something that she just so desperately wanted to be real. She kept her hand on her stomach, to know if it was real. Just then, there came a quick kick. Celebrían's smiled again.

Elrond was listening to his wife sing and he to smiled, when she sang. For he has not heard, Celebrían sing in a very long time. That is when Celebrían called his name.

"Elrond! Elrond, come here!"

Elrond ran into the bedroom to see what was going on.

"What, is it Celebrían?" He asked with a worried look upon his face.

"Come here." She said eagerly.

Walking towards her side if the bed, he again asked.

"What is it?"

Now seating on the edge of the bed. Celebrían grabbed her husband's hand and placed it where the baby kicked. This confused Elrond, a minute passed and Celebrían's smile turned into a frown. Just when she thought she just imagined it all, there was a small kick. A smile appeared on Elrond's lips as Celebrían's reappeared on hers', then turned into a giggle.

"See," Elrond said, "I told you there was nothing to worry about."
