Wine Cellar
"You should probably choose one of the weaker wines, before you try the stronger ones." Arwen explained, for the third time.
"Why? Did you, Elladan, and Elrohir do that?"
"Of sorts."
"And by, of sorts, do you mean a terrible hangover?"
"Not as bad, as our brothers."
"We live to regret it." Elladan stated.
Arwen and I smiled.
"We just do not want you to get carried away on your first night, Squirt." Elrohir said, smiling.
"So you both chose the strongest drink out there, on your first night?"
"Yeah, 'Naneth' chewed us out for it." Elladan replied, smiling at the memory.
It was quite for a moment, remembering Naneth was not here.
"The best of memories are always the most painful."
It was still very rare for any of us to mention Naneth. So Arwen would always try to change the subject, quickly.
"Choose your poison, Lìvia."

Just as pale greens and blues are the colors of Spring for elves, reds and dark blues are the colors of Winter.
I looked at my reflection in the full length mirror, in my bedroom.
"You look beautiful." A voice that is all too familiar.
I turned around seeing Ada standing at my doorway.
"You are just saying that because I am your daughter."
"You are beautiful, 'lell nin.'"
'Hanna le, Ada.'
"Your mother would be proud of you." He said walking closer to me.
"I believe she would be proud of all of us."
"You look a lot like her."
"How?"
"You both have the same smile." Ada said, which made me smile.
"Are you ready?"
"As I'll ever be."

Courtyard
Ada lead me to the center of the room, all the elves and rangers gathered around to watch, my first dance.
Drinks just started going around, but I'm sure my brothers started long before. For would you believe it, that they were the ones singing?
"She spins and she sways, to whatever song plays
Without a care in the world
And I'm sitting here wearing the weight of the world on my shoulders
It's been a long day and there's still work to do
She's pulling at me saying "Ada I need you!
There's a ball at the kingdom and I've been invited and I need to practice my dancin'
Oh please, Ada, please!"
So I dance with Cinderella
While she is here in my arms
'Cause I know something her prince never knew
Oh I will dance with Cinderella
I don't want to miss even one song 'Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight.
And she'll be gone."
~~~
"But she came home today, with a ring on her hand
Just glowing and telling us all they have planed.
She says, "Ada, the wedding is just six months away, but I need to practice my dancin'
Oh, please, Ada please!"
So I dance with Cinderella
While she is here in my arms
'Cause I know something her prince never knew
Oh I will dance with Cinderella
I don't want to miss even one song.
Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight.
And she'll be gone."
"Lìvia." I turned around seeing Elladan with two men and a woman.
One man was older like the woman, while the other man was younger, a son most likely.
"This is Araphant son of-"
"Araval, son of Arveleg II. Ranger of the north, and true King of Gondor."
He smiled.
"I'm sorry have you two met?" My brother asked.
"Once, Araphant was a young boy, when we meet. Snatched a girl's doll, only to come years later he marries her."
This time it was his wife's turn to smile.
"It is good to see you again Lady Lìvia."
"You as well Hàna. Same for you Araphant."
"Lìvia, this is our son, Arvedui." Araphant introduced, as his son stepped forward.
"Its very nice to meet you, Arvedui."
"Pleasure is all mine, Lady Lìvia."
The musicians started to play another song.
"May I have this dance, milady?" He asked offering his hand.
"You may." I replied taking his hand, as he lead me to the other dancers.
"Are you planning to stay here in Rivendell for a while?" I asked as we started to dance.
"Yes. My parents believe it would be best if I stay here and study."
"Well, there is a lot to learn, even I am still learning."
"Yes, but you have forever."
"And yet everyday there is always something new to learn."
~~~
As the night went on there has yet to be peace and quite. But who wants that? Everyone is being marry and enjoying themselves.
But I have not seen Legolas anywhere all night.
As I watched the other elves dance a voice came from behind me.
''Móy van lánla.''
Sure enough I turn around to find Legolas behind me.
''Na le.''
"How does it feel to be of age, milady?"
"Not any different, actually. I am quit disappointed."
"How about I make un disappointed?"
"What did you have in mind?"
He gave me a childish, and grabbed my hand.
"Follow me."
~~~
"Legolas?" I asked as he lead me into the gardens.
He ignored me and continued to lead me deeper into the gardens.
"Legolas, why are we in the gardens?" I asked, as he pulled me close to him.
"I thought we could have a dance."
"In the gardens?"
"I wanted it to be private."
"Is this about me dancing with someone else. Are you jealous?"
He looked down at the ground and gave me a shrug.
"Maybe."
"Did the great Prince of Greenwood, just admit he is jealous?"
Legolas' head shot back up, looking back up at me.
"Yes, but the real reason is, I wanted to give you this." He said pulling something out of his robe pocket.
Once he held it up in the moonlight, I saw what it was clearly. A ring.
The band was crafted to look like a tree branch, and in the middle was a flower with emeralds, diamonds, and a peridot.
"Its beautiful, Legolas."
I watched him as he slipped the ring on my right ring finger. I looked up back at him, when he spoke.
"Well, a beautiful girl, deserves a beautiful ring."
~~~
Legolas' POV
Lìvia chuckled.
"How much wine have you had?" She asked, looking at the ground.
I tilted my head, wondering why she asked that.
"Why would you ask that?"
"Surly, there must be more interesting 'Elleths' than me." She replied, looking back up.
"Now, I believe I should be asking you how much you have had." I said pressing my three fingers on her forehead, but she swatted my hand away, speaking when she did.
"Stop flattering me."
"Well, it is true."
She looked back at my once again, our eyes locked. Her white strands shined under the moon light.
(She was beautiful.)
My hand made its way to the side of her face. She did not flinch or say anything as I did.
I pulled in closer, as did she also. Closer and closer, finally our lips touched.
~~~
Lìvias' POV
I might have given anything to know what Legolas was thinking, as he just starred at me.
We didn't say anything, our faces kept inching closer. Closing my eyes, our lips touched.
We kissed.
