Chapter 38
Five Hours
T.A. 2513
Greenwood
Lìvias' POV
(What did he mean? Five hours? Did I?)
Legolas was just as confused as I was. I took one step forward, then felt it. Pain came over my whole left leg.
I fell to the ground, now seeing an arrow just above my knee.
"Lìvia!" Legolas shouted, running to me.
I yanked the arrow out, as Legolas helped me up.
"I should have fired the second I saw him." Legolas stated.
"Why didn't you?"
"Why didn't you?"
"Fair enough."
I looked at the tip. Poison.
(Of course it's poison. Its always poison.)
"Five hours." I whispered.
Legolas wrapped his arm around my waist using him as support.
"We have to hurry." He stated.

3rd POV
"Why is it, our sister always ends up in these sort of situations?" Elrohir asked his twin.
"More of why do we miss all the fun?"
"If you call our sister and the Prince, always getting in things like this? Then yes."
Elladan grinned, making Elrohir smile.
"Come on."
~~~
Lìvias' POV
'Rhaich.' "My leg."
"It hurts?"
"No." I dragged, looking back at him. "I lost feeling in it an hour ago. I just wanted to say that."
"Even when poisoned you can be sarcastic."
"Yes. Keeps my mind off the pain."
"Can you be more subtle, about it?"
"Who's the one dying?
"You're going to live, Lìvia."
"Not in three hours." I mumbled.
"Stop speaking that way."
"I'm being a realest. There is no way, we can make it back to the palace, in time. We'll need a miracle."
"Or just two very good looking saviors." My brothers' voices stated, as they appeared through the trees on horses.
"That works as well." Legolas said.
"We know." They replied.
~~~
Five days later
"Out of all the places you could have chosen to stay, you pick the library."
"Of course she would. This is our sister."
I placed my book down looking at my two brothers.
"Well, I spent almost a full year hiding in my room. Wanted to stay somewhere else beside a bedroom. And I spent hours with Eleaín help healing wounds." I said looking out the window.
Watching the elves set up for the Starlight Festival, I sighed knowing I was not going to be able to participate.
"Are you sure you do not need anything?"
"I'm fine, Elrohir." I assured going back to my book.
"Alright, Squirt. We'll see you later."
"Im sure."
~~~
Legolas' POV
(Why does everything happen to us?)
"Are you alright Legolas?" My father asked.
"Hm? Oh, yes 'Ada.' I'm fine."
"Legolas. I wish to apologize."
I looked at my father confused.
"I should not have left you, to deal with the loss on your own."
'Ada -'
"No, listen to me. I should have been there for you."
'Ada -'
"Legolas -"
"I forgive you."
~~~
I eased the library door open seeing Lìvia sitting in a window seat. Her legs stretched over the seat, one flat the other ached.
Her head leaned on the window, and a book about to fall out of her hand.
I grabbed the book, and looked where her finger marked.
'Valars' Light'
I smiled, closing the book, and placed it back on the self.
She looked peaceful, but uncomfortable. I picked her up, I believe what they call bridal style. Making sure not to wake her up.
~~~
Arwens' POV
I faint knock came from my door. I looked over to see an empty bed.
I furred my brow.
(Who could be knocking? Lìvia was not suppose to be on that leg.)
I got up, and opened the door. Seeing Legolas holding Lìvia in his arms.
"Do - you mind - if -"
"Oh, of course. Bring her in." I said stepping off to the side.
Legolas brought her in, then placed Lìvia on her bed.
"Thank you, Legolas."
"Of, course. See you in the morning. Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
~~~
Lìvias' POV
My eyes opened lazily, as I took in my surroundings.
Our guest room.
(How did I get here?)
I sat up in the bed, looking around.
Empty.
"Ah, good you are awake." My sisters' voice came, walking into the room.
"How did I get here?"
Arwen just smiled.
"You know who."
"I'm not playing games Arwen. Who was it?"
She just kept smiling. I sighed.
"Legolas?"
Arwens' smile grew, which I did not even think was possible.
"I do not wish to even know what you are thinking."
"He likes you, you know. I can see it."
"And a day will come, when you will not."
She looked at me surprised.
"Will not what?"
"See it. -Love. Now, please help me get changed."

3rd POV
Four days earlier
"How is Lìvian?" Thranduil asked.
"She is recovering, now. The poison had not passed, we were able to get it out before it passed her heart. She'll be fine." Elrond replied.
"That is good to know."
"Its around her neck. He gave his' to her."
"Does he have hers'?"
"Most likely."
"So now?'
"We wait."
