Chapter 33
Old Memories
T.A. 2511
Rivendell
Third Person POV
~"Lìvian? What are you doing ?" Elrond asked, the little elfling in his arms. As she was reaching up for his circlet.
"Crown." She said, grabbing it from her fathers' head, and placing it on her own.
"Ta-da." She continued, as the circlet fell down her face. She then frowned in disappointment.
Elrond chuckled at the site of his daughter. As he took the circlet, off her face, and placed it back on his head. As Lìvian, tried to reach for it back, but didn't work.
"It's to big for you, 'lell nin.' Here this might fit better." Elrond said revealing a smaller version of his circlet.
Lìvians' eyes widen as Elrond placed it on her white haired head, she then giggled with delight.
"Why don't you go show 'Naneth?'"
Placing her on the floor, she ran out of the room, shouting for her mother.
'Naneth! Naneth!'~
Elrond opened his eyes as tears streamed down his face.

Lothlóríen
"Grandmother. Why have you called me?" Arwen asked.
"I want you to look into my mirror."
"What will I see?" She asked, walking closer.
"Not even the wisest can not tell." She replied, as she started to pour the water pitcher. "Things that were. Things that are. And some things, that not yet come to pass."
Arwen then looked into the mirror as a scene appeared.
~"Arwen! Arwen!" She heard her bothers call.
"Elladan? Elrohir? What is it?"
"Have you seen, Lìvia anywhere? By any chance?" Elladan asked, looking around the room.
"No I have not. Why?"
"We may or mat not have misplaced her." Elrohir explained, as he too looked.
"You lost our sister?!"
"No, misplaced. Where you not listening?"
"She's not a book, Elladan. She's our sister."
"We know that. Please, help us find her." They begged.
She sighed.
"Alight. Where was the last place you saw her?"
"We were in the gardens, playing hide in seek-" Elladan began.
The scene changed as they went into the kitchen. Finding their sister covered in cookie crumbs.
The scene changed again, this time more recent.
"I want to know!"
"Arwen, it's not your sisters'-"
"She's not my sister!"
Arwen watched as she stormed out of view.
"We'll go after her." Elladan said.
As they both left, it then focused on Lìvia. Her eyes looked at nothing, her hand twitched. As father called her name.
"Lìvia? Lìvia?!"
She didn't answer, as her eyes changed color, and fell to the ground.
The scene changed once more.
Arwen saw herself draped in white, as she stood in front of a full length mirror.
'Mórye lánla.'
Those words she heard, so many times. Arwen turned to see Lìvia standing behind her, in a simple deep blue dress.
"You are beautiful, Arwen."
"Oh, Lìvia. Is this all real?"
"As real, as it can be. Do you doubt his love? Cause you shouldn't, he loves you."
"No, I do not doubt his love. I love him so much."
"Then you have nothing to fear."
"I'm glad to have you, as my sister." She said hugging Lìvia.
Just then a knock came from the door. They broke apart.
"Come in." Arwen said.
The door opened seeing their father come in.
"Are we ready?"
"Yes, 'Ada.' I believe we are." Lìvia replied.
The scene changed for the last time. In Lìvias' room they fought.
Lìvia and Arwen shouted.
"Lìvia, just listen to me!"
"Oh, like you listened to me?!"
Arwen stayed silent.
"You called me a mistake!" Lìvia cried, with tears streaming down.
"Your not a mistake! You're my sister!"
"Oh, I'm your sister now?! Make your mind up, Arwen! - I've made mine."
"Lìvia -"
"Go away, Arwen." She cried, walking away, but Arwen grabbed her wrist.
"No, Lìvia."
"I said. GO AWAY!" She shouted, throwing her other arm around facing Arwen.
Doing so, fire appeared from her hand. Arwen watched as she fell to the ground. Lìvias' eyes widened.~
Arwen was then left, seeing her reflection, starring back at her.

Bree
They sat in the corner, of the pub, along with five other Rangers.
"It's good to see you two again." Arveleg said, greeting them with a hug.
"Its good to see you as well, Arveleg. How is Arvegil?" Elladan asked.
"He is doing well, but he no longer has the ability to travel this far, like he once could. How is your family? Your parents and sisters?"
"Our mother just sailed to the Grey Heavens. After an orc attack last year." Elrohir replied.
"My deepest condolences." He said, gesturing his hand over his heart.
'Hanna le.' The twins replied.
"A grieving time for Rivendell indeed. You are here, is everyone still in Rivendell?"
"No, Arwen went to Lothlóríen. Father and Lìvia are still there." Elrohir answered.
"I know it is not my place, but why?"
"I'm sorry?" They asked.
"Why are you here, with us. When you should be there, with them?"
"Lìvia, knew what was going to happen. But, she never told us, or why she never told us." Elladan replied.
"Did you ever give her the chance?"
They said nothing. Cause it hit them like a ton of bricks. They never gave her the chance.
~~~
Rivendell
Rivendell was quite. No evening song, were sang. Nor did it feel like the sun ever shined. For they all still grieved.
One elf stood there, looking out over the western borders. Waiting for her to show, a old memory came to mind.
~"Why are we always the elfsitter?" Glorfindel asked.
"Why do we always say yes?" Lindir asked.
A little elf laughed, at the two adults. Who sat with her in the library.
"What is so funny?" Glorfindel asked.
"You two." She giggled.
"Well I'm glad, we are here for your entertainment." Glorfindel said, giving a dramatic bow.
As Lindir rolled his eyes.
Which only made the eight year old laugh even harder.
"I think we just have to make her laugh, to keep her busy." Lindir confirmed.
The elfling had a huge grin on her face.
"So what did you do when you had to watch my siblings?"
"Your brothers would either try to get themselves in trouble or go and practice." Glorfindel replied.
"Arwen would just read. No, trouble at all." Lindir finished.
"I say do that on your own time. Tell me a story." She insisted.
"About what?" They asked.
The young elf thought for a moment.
"The Balrog Slayer." She replied with glee.
Glorfindel had the biggest smile on his face. He leaned in close to the young elf.
"Do not tell anyone this, but you're my favorite."
"Your secret is safe with me."
"Alright on with the story. It starts in-"~
The memory faded, with his voice, but it was still fresh in the advisers' mind, like it was yesterday.
~~~
Lothlóríen
"Grandma, what is it?"
"I am unsure, but something is very wrong. You must go back to Rivendell. Now."
Following her Grandmothers' order, she headed for home.

Bree
As Elladan spoke with the Rangers, Elrohir had one memory in particular come to him.
~"Lìvia, lift your bow just a little higher." Elrohir instructed.
She lifted it up.
"Now, pull your arrow back."
She pulled it back.
"Focus on your target, and release."
She let the arrow go, as it hit the outer ring, of the target.
She let out a loud groan.
"Come on Squirt. That was better than the others. At least this one hit the target."
"But, you and Elladan make it look so easy."
"We also have two thousand years of practice. And we are still not that good."
"Better than me." She mumbled.
"Ah, none of that. Come on the more you practice the better you get."
"Alright." She said, notching another arrow to her bow string.
"Alright. Now, pull back, - take a deep breath, - and let go."
Taking a deep breath, she pulled the arrow back, and then released the arrow. Hitting the center ring.
"Lucky shot." Elrohir mumbled.
"Or just a really good teacher."
"Yea." He said picking up his sister. "Orcs better watch out for you."~
The memory ended as Lìvias' laughter faded.
"Elrohir? Elrohir?!"
Elrohir looked up to see Elladan beside him.
"Come on Elrohir, we are leaving."
"Where are we going?'
"Home."

Rivendell
Lìvias' POV
I looked up at the sky, noticing the sun beginning to set. Also seeing the dark clouds forming.
I got up from my spot, under the tree, grabbing my weapons, placing them on my back. I then made my way to Rivendells' gates.
~~~
I stepped out of the tree line, clearly seeing the halls, that pasted the outside walls.
Upon seeing one elf, Lindir out looking for me. His eyes trailed on me, he then smiled. I gave him a quick wave, as he did the same. I quickly turned back around and headed back.
~~~
I looked around the area, where I have lived for the past year. Where I watched my brothers practice, where I first learned to use a bow.
I sat back under the tree, as memories filled my mind.
~I sat up in the tree, watching Elladan and Elrohir shooting arrows.
I was not even suppose to be this far out, from Rivendell.
Talking to each other as they shot arrows, I lowered myself down the tree, still watching them. The leaves rustled as I moved.
Elrohir quickly shushed Elladan, cutting him off from speaking.
"Elladan?" He whispered. "Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"Someone else is here."
I gulped. A moment later, he sighed.
"Stop hiding Squirt. Come on out."
I did as I was told. Jumping off from where I was, I hit the ground, landing on my feet. Brushing my white hair out of my eyes, to see my brothers' disappointing looks.
"Lìvia." Elladan said sternly. "You know 'Ada', does not like you out here this far. And epically without anyone knowing."
"You both know."
"But, we did not beforehand." Elrohir stated.
"I'm sorry. I just wanted to watch you."
They both sighed and smiled.
"Alright."~
I blinked a couple of times. One so I could see again, and two, to get the tears out.
As rain began to fall, I heard their footsteps.
"Finally."

Greenwood
Third Person POV
Thranduil sat on his throne, dry tears, stained his cheeks. His heart slowly turning to stone. He too left his child, after the loss of the Queen.
The woods, themselves seem to grieve for their loss.
The King was lost in his own world, starring at nothing, feeling nothing.
~"Faith. Is truly cruel. Is it not King Thranduil?"~
Thranduils' eyes widened, hearing that voice, he had not heard in so long.
~"It's a shame, truly. I warned you, but you continued on with a folly plan. Yet, you are not the only one grieving, not the only one, who left someone behind. "
(Who? What?)
"In Rivendell they grieve for the lost of the Lady. A shame, she was beautiful, sadly she left, leaving a broken little elf, all alone."
To the Kings' surprise he saw a young elf, sitting on a white, tile floor, crying. A single candle gave light, just enough to see her brown and white hair.
The small flame, then went out. Like she blew it out herself.
"Shame, this is how they will know, what it's like to lose someone they love."~

Rivendell
~He saw his daughter and the Prince, dancing at their wedding. Everyone was happy and celebrating.
Elrond had comfort watching them smile.
As he watched them dance, there came a high pitch scream. The wedding blew up in flames, as a new vision appeared.
He saw the Prince in an ashy field, blood covered him. A woman, no his daughter, was there, holding the dying Prince.
Though it did not look like her. For her hair was pure white, unlike how it is normally half white and half brown. Her eyes, no longer the color of the earth, but of fire.
"Legolas, I'm sorry." She cried, as tears ran down her face. "Legolas, no, please, please, don't leave me. I'm sorry."
"Lìvia." He mumbled. Wiping the tears from her eyes, he pulled her into a kiss.
"If I was to do it, one last time. I'm glad it was you. I love you."
That was it. He no longer moved. He no longer breathed. He died in her arms.
"NO!"
She mourned, over him, as a voice called her name.
"Lìvia?"
The scene changed as Elrond saw his daughter, now on a stone ground, motionless, in the arms of the Prince. With tears of his own, running down his face.
Her hair was pure white, just like her eyes, as blood dripped from the corner of her mouth.
"Lìvia? Wake up."
No response.
"Lìvia?!"
Nothing.
Everything went black, and then he heard it's voice. One from long ago.
"As I have said before, the choices that will be made, will determine both their faiths'."
Elrond could only hear its' chuckle.
"I bet you don't even know where your daughter is."
What?
"Tick tock, Lord Elrond. You better find her, before it's too late."~
~~~
If you've gotten this far then CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I hope I didn't lose any readers cause of that fire scene...
Bear with me on that, PLEASE.
Its not going to be like, "I got fire coming out of my hands... sweet."
NO! - NO! - NO!
I've NEVER understood that. If I had fire coming out of my hands, or I could control the earth, or some other strange power.
I WOULD FREAK OUT!!!
Wouldn't anyone else?
Just me?
Anyway so please stay with me till I can explain a little more.
Remember the ring scene, back in Chapter 15?
You guys are going to have to remember a lot of things, cause its all in one GIANT circle.
Also I know it would probably be hard not to notice that your daughter was missing for a year, but remember Elrond hardly left his room.
Just to let you know.
Who else thought of Elsa?
*raises hand*
No. It did not take Elladan & Elorhir a year to reach Bree. Just a year to find them.
Just clearing that.
Anyone still wants to guess the voice?
I asked this in the Prologue. Any guesses?
Vote.
Comment.
Do both.
Don't do any.
I don't care.
I'm out.
