Goodbye For Now

Rivendell

Once I finished, I changed out of my dress, and in to my outfit.

Black leggings, a black, long sleeve under tunic, a deep blue tunic, that had flowing sleeves reaching my elbows. I then pulled on my black leather boots.

Another strange thing about me, is that I like layers. Elves uselessly dress light, but not me.

I pulled my belt around my waist, having my dagger hang from the side.

Hidden of course.

Putting on my black cloak, I strapped my twin swords, and a quiver of arrows to my back.

Lastly, I placed the letter, rolled up on my bed.

Grabbing my bow and bag of herbs, I walked out into the quite night.

Walking down the stairs, I almost made it without being noticed.

"Lady Lìvia?" Lindir's' voice asked.

'Rhaich.' I whispered, turning to face him, as he came down the stone steps.

"Milady. Where are you going?"

I can't lie to Lindir. Can I? No.

"I'm leaving Lindir. Please, do not try to stop me. I can take care of myself."

"I have no doubt that you can, but that is not that worries me. I only want you to be safe. I know our father would want the same."

I knew Lindir spoke the truth, but he left. He broke his promise.

"Everyday, when the sun sets, look to the West. You will see me, and know I am unharmed."

He nodded.

"As you wish."

I nodded, and started to leave, as did Lindir.

"Oh, and Lindir." I said turning back, Lindir did the same.

"Just ask her. She can't say no." I replied, with a smile. He returned one.

"And do not worry. Glorfindel does not know. - Yet."

Lindir's face fell, but my smile grew, as I headed for the woods.

Well that was short..

I just survived my first week of college!!!! WOW!!
