Four days.

Four days till Naneth leaves.

Elladan, Elrohir, and Arwen had their round of tears, as did I, but I've been crying for years.

The rest of the elves, took the news, about the same.

We have spent the last few days with Naneth, before she goes.

Now it's my turn.

I hesitantly knocked on my parents' door.

"Come in." Naneths' voice came.

I opened the door, finding Naneth sitting on the little couch, that sat at the end of the bed.

She sat there starring at the floor, leading to the balcony.

Closing the door behind me, I made my way to her.

"Twenty years." She whispered, not looking at me, as I moved closer.

"Twenty years, and you never would have known." Tears fell down her face. "Never would have known, there was blood there." 

"They must have done a good job, cleaning it up." I replied, sitting beside her.

"Indeed." She said, now looking at me. "And you have grown since then, grown into a beautiful, 'Elleth.'"

"I am not even of age yet, 'Naneth.'"

"But, you are beautiful, Lìvia." She said, placing my hands in hers'. "And, you will win the heart of a wonderful, 'Ellon.' I just know you will."

Tears started to form in my eyes.

'Naneth.' "I'm so sorry." I cracked, burying my head into her chest. "I should have stopped you." I cried.

"No, Lìvia. Do not apologize, 'Lell nin.' You did what you were told to do."

"But, look what I've done. I've caused so much pain." I cried.

"Sh, Sh, its alright. Come now stop your crying, it will be alright."

I let my tears roll of my cheeks, hold my mother tighter. She started humming, then she sang.

Naneth carried the last note, then stopped. There was silence, till I spoke.

'Naneth."

"Yes."

"What is love?"

She sat there thinking, then calmly she replied.

"Love is patient.

Love is kind.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it  keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails."

"Is there more than one type of love?"

"There are four.

The first is Agape love. That love is unconditional. This love, is the love your father and I have for you and your brothers and sister.

Then, there is the Philia love. That love is between friends.

Then, the Storge love. This love is between siblings.

And last is Eros. The romantic love."

"Like the love you and 'Ada', have?" I asked looking up at her.

"Yes. I love your father, with all my heart, and it pains knowing I've hurt him leaving. It pains me knowing I've hurt all of you as well."

"I'll miss you, 'Naneth.'"

"I'll miss you too, my dear child."

3rd POV

Two days later

'Melleth?'

"Yes, 'Melamin.'"

"Remember, when you asked me what I saw, that day? The day I fell?"

"After twenty years, do I finally get to know?" He asked, now looking at his wife.

She was starring at herself in the mirror. Elrond made his way to her.

"I saw them, Elrond." Celebrían said.

Elrond wrapped his arms around her waist, their fingers intertwined each others.

"I saw their lives. I saw her grow."

Small tears ran down her face.

"Everything will be alright, Celebrían. I promise."

"Don't leave her to suffer alone, 'Melleth.'"

"She won't be, I promise."

Lìvias' POV

We rode in silence, we said nothing on our way to Vinyamer.

This would be my first time seeing the sea.

Meríco is fully grown, or so everyone says. I don't think so though.

Grandmas' horse came up beside mine.

"You've been strong in all this."

"No. I have not. Are you not sadden by this?"

"Of course, my dear. But it is for the good of Middle-earth. This you know."

"Yes. I saw it long ago."

"Everything, will work out." She assured, moving forward.

I just hope she's right.
