Not Goodbye, Just Later

Lìvias' POV

After the, - reviling? Of my hair, I guess, the elves didn't speak of it again. Though they continue to call me ""Valars' Light.""

Sadly, our time in Greenwood was ending, and by tomorrow morning we head for home.

I guess the only thing I'm going to miss in Greenwood, is my new friend.

I have been packing for the past hour or so, I mean it's not like I packed a lot to bring in the first place.

"You know, just because your packing slow, does not mean we are not leaving any later." Arwen said.

"You're right, as always."

"Oh, dear sister. You have hurt me." She replied sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes and finished packing.

I haven't seen Legolas since dinner, last night. I wanted to say goodbye, but only the King and Queen, were there to say goodbye.

"Goodbye, Lìvia. Take care of yourself now, and we'll see you again." Queen Regeína said.

I smiled and bowed.

The King looked at me, and smiled. I smiled back, then bowed, and went to Meríco.

Again I was at the back of the line, felt like something, or someone was watching me.

I heard the leaves rustling, stopping Meríco, I listened.

My head was no more than two feet from a tree limb. Watching someone fall for the trees and on to the limb.

"I thought I wasn't going to get to say goodbye." I told Legolas.

"I only didn't show, because I didn't want to say goodbye." He explained.

"Why?"

"Because, goodbye means forgetting. And I don't want to forget you."

"I don't want to say goodbye, either." I admitted.

"Then what do we say?"

"Let's not say goodbye. Let's just say, see you later."

He smiled and nodded.

"See you later."

I started Meríco again, ducking under the limb, I turned back to Legolas.

"See you later."
