Ending (2): Clara Clayton

Your POV

I punched in the date that I wanted as I looked at the road in front of me after I pulled out of the garage. I sped off down the road before  I  jumped through time, going to 1886. I had studied the Clayton Ravine and I knew the day that she was found and when she was supposed to be in Hill Valley as the new school house teacher.

I hid the DeLorean as I looked around the small town as I was able to find the Marty and Doc from this trip. I had heard that the new teacher was supposed to be arriving soon and that Marty and Doc needed to get back to 1986. They just had to do it before Mad Dog Tannen was going to shoot Doc. I sighed deeply as I walked around as I looked for a horse. After I had found one I  looked at it. I'll have to catch a wild one and tame it so I could get down to the Clayton Ravine and help Clara.

I took off with my horse after I gave it shoes and a saddle as I looked at her. "We have to go for a long ride,I don't think you're going to like it" She shook her head a little as she huffed at me. I smiled a little as I chuckled. I got onto the saddle before I heard Doc and Marty behind me. "Good morning, Ma'am. Say, I don't believe I've seen you around lately. You must be new"

I smiled as I heard his voice. "I'm just passing through, I shouldn't be staying long. Now if you'll excuse me I really must get going." I said. I glanced at the two as they looked at me. I looked at them from under my hat so they wouldn't be able to get too much of my face and figure out that it was me. I waved before I took off on my horse and went to the Ravine. I sighed as I saw that she hadn't come around yet before I heard a yell.

I looked over to see that she was on the buggy and lost control of her horse. I caught up with her pretty quickly and pulled her to my horse. I tilted my head gently as I looked at her. She put her hat back on her head as she looked at me. "Oh, hello. thank you for saving me. I think a snake spooked my horse." I nodded and let her move behind me. "Not to worry. Not all horses have nerves of steel. You must be the new school teacher.  I'll take you into town." I said. She smiled as we had a quiet ride into town.

She had hopped off my horse and I looked at her and smiled gently. "I would get that telescope checked out by the blacksmith. I wouldn't want the new school house teacher not to be able to share her knowledge of astrology with her students." she looked at me and smiled before she nodded. "That sounds like a good idea, are you a scientist as well?" she asked. I shook my head. "That's a complicated answer. I'm not a scientist but I have had an interest of science since I was young, I don't know maybe that's what made me find an old friend of mine that does have a love for science." I said. She smiled and nodded before I pointed her in the direction of where Doc was. I stayed with my horse as I checked her over before I started to eavesdrop on the blacksmith.

I hadn't seen myself yet and that was good but then again. I couldn't see her without destroying the space-time continuum. I let my horse rest before I walked by the blacksmith building as I heard that he was talking to her about her telescope. He had that familiar dreamy sound to his voice as he talked to her, I glanced in to see that he couldn't wipe the smile off of his face. I smiled as I looked at my horse. I sighed gently before I put a small note on her reins and knocked on the door so Doc could hear. I stood around the corner as I heard him find the horse and read the note. "Who would leave a horse and skip town?" Marty asked.

"Someone who knows that they won't be coming back." he said and I sighed gently. "If only you knew, Doc." I said before I walked back out of town and to the DeLorean where I got inside and sighed gently before I took off and went back to the time I was supposed to be. I jumped through time and pulled into Doc's driveway as he came out with Clara in tow. Marty looked at me and rose a brow.

"Where have you been with the DeLorean?" he asked as he looked at me. "Nowhere you need to worry yourself over." I said as he looked at me. "Young lady, spill it." he said. I shook my head and looked at him. "You and Clara are together and you have the boys do you not?" I asked and they shared a look before he nodded slowly. "Then alls well that ends well and everything I just did, frankly, you don't need to worry about" I said and looked at him before glancing at Marty. "Now don't we have a DeLorean to dismantle? Wouldn't want anyone to take it from the garage and make another future like Biff's" I said and walked outside.
