" .  .  . R e a p e r .  .  . ? "

My eyes widened as I stared at Geno. He was barely awake. I hugged him tightly, breaking into tears. He was crying and clearly in pain as he struggled to hug me back. I felt my magic weaken and my attacks dissappear. The doctors and the nurse and CQ came rushing over to us. I felt my eyes flutter as exhausten hit me hard.

 I barely slept, I barely ate, and I was in a state of sadness. All of that plus the sudden use of so much magic took its toll on me. I went limp, barely awake. I felt someone pick me up and set be beside Geno under the sheet. We clung to each other, desperate to know the other was there.

It took me a while, but I soon fell asleep, still embracing Geno's fragile body.

~~~~~3rd P.O.V.~~~~~
Geno was staring at CQ, everything hitting him like a bullet train. It was almost as sudden as Fatal's death.
"...momma...?" Geno asked, hugging Reaper back as he slept. "....are you...?"
"..." CQ looked down. "I'm s-sorry...--" she scurried out the door. The doctors gave each other odd looks, but they brushed it off and made sure Geno was okay. Once they were sure he was going to live, they checked Reaper's condition.
He was much weaker, but he'd recover.
~~~~~Flashback~~~~~

Fatal was always curious and shy. He was careful, and had mild pixilation syndrome. He was twins with Geno, yet at the same time he wasn't.

Currently, Fatal was sick. Deathy pale and sick. Nobody knew what he had, but they knew he had a slim chance of making it. Error and Geno both sat beside his hospital bed, watching in concern. Fatal was always in a worse state than Geno, experenceing blindness and hosile breakouts.

...beep. ...beep. ...beep.

The monitor was the only thing that said if he was alive or not. Fatal was under heavy medication, keeping him passive, painless, calm, and asleep. Suddenly, Fatal woke up screaming.

He was screaming bloody murder, pain gripping him. It scared both Geno and Error horribly. Fatal was glitching out horribly, his soul appearing above his head.

It shattered without warning.

BBBEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPP!!!!!!

CQ couldn't take the stress. Fatal had died in front of both Geno and Error, causing damage to both of their mental states. Fresh had grown much morre distant because of this, even spending less time with Decans, his best friend.

Geno was scared to death of the hospital, only making it harder to care for him. Error was becoming more undone at the seems. He had more hostile breakouts, even towards people like Ink, Geno, and CQ herself.

One day, Fresh simply left. He knew he wasn't safe, so he ran away. He had left a note taped to Decans' window, explaining why he was doing what he was doing. At that, Error completely lost it. He ran. He ran for peace and some kind of freedom. Geno ran after him, not wanting to lose another brother.

So, in less than a week, CQ was completely alone.

The three eventually formed a somewhat stable group. They stole items and rumaged through trash, trying to find food. Geno pushed his own health away, trying to help get food and water for the other two skeletons. Soon, they were found by Toriel, a friendly goat monster.

Decans, overcome by sheer loss, fear, and desperation, ran away. His parents fighting and Fresh runing away had become much too much for the fragile skeleton's mind. He tried desperately to find Fresh...

...but he never did. Instead, he ended up lost, somewhere completely different.

Maybe they'll meet again. Somewhere, sometime in the future.

~~~~~Flashback Over~~~~~
~~~~~Somewhere Else~~~~~

The skeleton wandered the flat land, hungry. His dull yellow eyes barely provided any light in the night, leaving the stars as his only light source. He's heard tales of the human living on Mt. Ebott, and how that human was caring for several skeletons. It filled him with DETERMINATION once again.

There were so few of his kind left...what was there to lose? He groaned as he struggled to walk. He had gone so long without food and his body was beginning to shut down. 'No.' he thought over and over. 'I can't give up yet.'

There were times when he was in such a state of hunger, dehydration, and exhaustion, that he wondered why he was there, or what his name was. But now he clung to those memories. He was Decans. His name....was Decans

He had been traveling for....how long? About a year...sometimes strangers would take him in, then they would get sick of him waking up screaming, randomly zoning out, his fragile body, and his minor depression. He still tore through it, and now he was more determined than ever to find his best friend.

He stumbled up the wooden path that led to the mountain's top. His breathing grew more uneasy and he fell down often. He screamed, feeling some of his ribs break. By the time he made it to the top, it looked like the kid had gone through Hell and back.

Dusk was talking through the phone, listening to what had happened. She didn't hear the weak and faint knocking on the door, but Fresh did. Out of dull and hollow curiosity, he answered.

There was an impossible silence between the two. Decans was first to move. He began to collapse, his body shutting down. Fresh screamed, showing emotion for the first time ever since he arrived, and caught Decans before he hit the ground.

"DECCY!!" Fresh was quickly flooded with emotions. Fear, joy, worry, relief, terror. He gently hugged Decans, careful as to not put any sort of pressure on his fragile body. Fresh was unknowingly screaming his head off, which easily alerted the rest of the home.

"DECCY!!! DECCY IS HERE!!!!" Fresh shrieked, the sheer amount of emotions he was feeling made him unaware that he was sprinting through the house, looking for somewhere safe. He went into full best-friend mode, processing what kind of medical treatment Decans needed. He occasionally looked down at Decans, making sure he was awake. "C'mon, Deccy-Dec, stay awake. Stay 'wake for me, okay? Just a little longer, then you can s-sleep as much a-as you w-want...just pl-please stay awake...okay...???"

Decans' eyes were fluttering and his breathing was shallow. His pupils were glowing bright blue, and he was going through massive waves of pain. But he still managed to say something... "...Frrr....Fresh....???"
