Chapter 91 ~ Didn't Realize Morons Were Included Too
Brianna's POV
What a beautiful Thursday morning! My brother is yelling at me to wake up before he throws me out of the house, mom is yelling at us to come downstairs and eat, and I'm yelling at myself to get a grip and get out of bed. "Wake up," Will says emotionlessly from his futile attempts before.
"But I'm tired," I complain. I mean, I was up till 9:30 studying... Ok... Well... Maybe not... Ok, I studied from 8:00 till 8:15 and then browsed the Internet till 2 am, healthy, I know.
"Get your butts down here!" I hear mom call from downstairs. Inviting.
"I'm coming!" I yell back and get out of bed.
Will waves his arms around in disbelief of how quickly I got up. "Wh-what? Why did you listen t-to her? I spent h-half an hour w-waking you up and you just, just, POOF! You're up! Whatever, I'm gonna go eat breakfast."
Many minutes of contemplating about what to wear and making funny faces in the mirror later, I head downstairs to eat.
"Cmon, you're cereal is already soggy, Bri," my mom says, gesturing towards the bowl of wasted cereal. I shrug and dig into my bowl.

"Alright, pop quiz!" Mrs. Rivera announces enthusiastically, clapping her hands together. The whole class groans. "But you get to work with a partner," she says and the whole class cheers. "But I will be assigning them." We quiet down again.
She goes off listing all the names of people, while I'm here praying I get someone good. Please don't be Adelaide, please don't be Adelaide, I pray to myself.
"Jenkins, Adelaide," Mrs. Rivera says, "and Kay, Christine." Yes! I do a small happy dance in my seat. "Myers, Brianna and Hughes, Jade." We both turn to look at each other. I mouth 'yay' and turn back around.
Minutes of passing out papers later, we're all sat with our partners. "This is great!" I say, "I actually know you!"
"Yeah, and you can give me all the answers while I watch!" Jade says.
"Yeah! It's perfect!"
"Oh." Mrs. Rivera comes up to us with Adelaide and I'm assuming Christine. "I seem to have made a mistake in the partners. Brianna you'll be with Adelaide. Jade, you'll be with Christine. Now, carry on," she shops us and walks away.
"So..." Jade trails off. "I guess I'll go over there...? Let's go Christine." And with that they walk away.
"Move over, you son of a- ok, ok, don't day anything bad," she whispers to herself. "Move over, Brianna," Adelaide says.
"No," I reply, "Just sit where Jade sat. Why do you wanna sit in my seat anyways?"
"Cause it's probably cleaner," she says.
"I heard that!" Jade yells from the other side of the room. "You're gone get it after school!"
Mrs. Rivera hushes Jade. "Sorry," she mumbles loudly.
"Anyways, you go ahead and sit down while I actually do my test," I say, picking up my pencil.
"This is a partner test," she says in more of a questioning tone.
"Yeah, I know. Never said you had to work together," I say, not looking up from my paper.
"Ugh, whatever," she says and finally sits down where Jade used to sit.
I read the first question to myself quietly. "Ok, approximately how much water covers the earth's surface?"
"B!" Adelaide shouts. "Shh," Mrs Rivera says.
"B, really?" I ask with an unamused expression.
"Yes."
"B: 97%," I read aloud. "Man, I thought the world was made up of neutrons, protons, and electrons. I didn't realize morons were included too.
"Ugh!" she says and picks up her pencil. Or, she picks up the air. "Ugh! I forgot my pencil at my seat! Hey, Briiiii?" she asks.
"What," I say.
"Can I borrow a pencil?" she asks.
"I dunno, can you?"
"May I borrow a pencil?"
"Nope. Only have one." I hold up the pencil I was using. I lied to her actually. I always have three on me. One in my backpack, one in my pencil bag, and one in my boot or whatever shoe I'm wearing that day. What? Just in case I forget my backpack and pencil bag at home, I have one in my shoe, duh.
"Liar. Whatever," she says and pulls out a pen from her backpack. "I'll just use this."
"This is a bubble test, you know, right?" I ask.
"Yeah, I know," she says, clicking the pen.
Some people are just so stupid, I think to myself.
Hey guys! Ok, be prepared for a huge author's note. First of all, sorry the chapters shorter than usual, I really wanna get this chapter out. Also, I'm so so sorry I haven't been updating So Long Good Girl lately. I've been busy preparing for test week starting today (when I upload this) and when I finish I'm usually too tired to do anything productive. Depending on how much homework is given this week, there may be little to no updates this week. Sorry! See ya all in the next chapter!
Till then,
~Orchid
