Chapter 80 ~ *Cough* Soulmates *Cough*
Brianna's POV
We all file into the bus. Well, the three groups that is. "There was a car crash up ahead, so there is major traffic. We're in for about three hours plus of traffic. Not including the hour it takes to get to your destination," Mr. Paisley says. Geez! Must be a pretty huge car crash. Or it's just a noon rush hour which doesn't help at all.
I swear, if Heather says one more thing about the traffic jam, I'm gonna kick her butt out of the bus window. Des been complaining about it for the past half an hour now nonstop. Doesn't her throat hurt or something? Or does she at least need to catch her breath? I mean, she might have to talk in ASL from talking this much!
"When will we get out of this traffic?" Heather rants.
"Shut up!" Jade says, well, more like shouts.
"We're not even in the traffic yet!" Shawn argues.
"Aww, they're agreeing on things," I sigh.
"SHUT UP!" they both yell.
"Geez, sorry, sorry," I reply. "*cough*soulmates*cough*" They both roll their eyes as Heather keeps on ranting.
~•~
We finally get to where the traffic stops. There's a giant horde of cars as far as the eye can see, seen as its rush hour and because of the accident.
"We're not even moving!" Heather complains. We all just grown in response. Yet another half an hour last of Heather ranting about the traffic.
"Yeah, no kidding, Sir Obvious," Arsenic comments.
"It would be more of a 'Ma'am' or 'Miss' instead of 'Sir', Arsenic," Bailey argues.
"Oh shut up!" she retorts.
I just keep scrolling through my Twitter feed. Scroll, scroll, scroll, error...? I refresh the page and nor all the tweets say "error has occurred." I check my bars on my phone. Oh no. "Arsenic?" I ask.
"Yeah?"
"There may or may not be any reception in there pads of Georgia." She drops her phone.
"See what you made me do? You made me so schooled I dropped my phone I would never drop!" She gets out of her seat to pick it up. "Gosh dang it! The case broke! I'm blaming this on you, Bri!"
"Wasn't my fault!" I say I defense. "Blame the cables out here. They have such poor reception."
"Good idea!" She reaches over Katelyn, who has the window seat again, and opens the window. She places her phone with a broken case in her seat and forms a cone with her hands around her mouth. "DARN YOU TELEPHONE POLES DARN YOU TELEPHONE POLES!!" she shouts over and over again. Well, she didn't exactly say 'darn' but something more... Interesting? Ok, bad excuse. Let's just say I don't wanna repeat the words that came it of her mouth. End of story.
"Better?" I ask, once she sits back down.
"Yeah," she replies.
Hey guys! Not much of an author's not here, but hey; it's still an author's note. See ya all in the next chapter!
Till then,
