Brianna's POV

"Oh, it's Simmons. Jack Simmons."

"WAIT WHAT?" We rarely ever used Jack's last name, so I scrolled through my contacts on my phone to see what his last name was. He put in his own contact name in my phone. It read,

Jack Simmons, aka the bestest friend you could ever ask for, Bri!

  Oh. My. God. I couldn't do this to Jack. Even though he left me as well as Bailey and Collin, I still couldn't dump him in the freezing water of the lake.

  "Actually, Andrea," I tell her, "I don't think I can do this."

  "Psh, relax, Bri." she said. "I know this is your first party you are going to crash and all, but trust me, it'll be fun," and she gave me an encouraging smile. I mean, Jack did ditch me to join the group we said we'd never join. I guess two people will be getting revenge tonight.

  "You're right," I say to Andrea, "I'm just a little nervous, that's all. Let's go now." I say grabbing my purse.

  We all met outside of Jade's house yet again. I was rather proud of the outfit I chose (refer to picture). Though, I'm not very used to high heels, so if I fall on my face while we crash the party, you'll know why. "Alright," Jade says, "We need someone to be the bait. Bri, do you have your lipstick? We need to spin it to make it fair. Andrea, Heather, get in a circle."

  I search my purse for lipstick and when I finally find it, I give it to Jade. She puts it on the floor and spins it round and round and round. God, this is giving me flashback nightmares. The cap side landed on, guess who, me. "No, no, no. I can't lure him to the lake, please, can't someone else do it?" I plead. Jade looks at me. "You'll be fine, you look hot. Just lure him in with your attractiveness to the dock of the lake house and we'll take it from there. Trust me, it'll be fine."

  "Jade," I say.

  "Yeah?"

  "Jack was one of the friends that ditched me."

  "Oh," she says, "even better! He won't know it's you thanks to Andreas makeup. We'll get double revenge tonight! DOUBLE THE POWER MOTHER-"

  I cut her off, "No need to continue," I say.

  "Ok, let's go, everyone. Shawn, you'll take Collin, Heather, and Chris in your car. Bri, Andrea, and I will take my car. See you guys there."

"Hey Jade?" I ask while we walk to her car.

"Yeah?" She says while taking out her keys.

"Did you dump Jack or did he dump you?"

"Oh, he dumped me for some popular chick. But knowing him, he's probably moved on to about three other girlfriends since then."

"And when did he dump you?"

"A few weeks ago." Jade opens the car door and slides in.

"And how long were you together?" I ask also sitting down in the seat, as well as Andrea.

"Wow, what are we playing? 20 questions?" Jade jokes while starting the car.

"No, I'm just curious."

"About a year. We were together for about a year."

Wow. I didn't know he could keep a girl for that long. "Wow," I finally say after I finish my train of thoughts.

That little beach! So what I'm single. It's not like she's taken anyway! You know what time it is?

Revenge.

I pull out my binder from my locker and take out some paper. I write down a note and walk over to Adelaide's locker. I slip it in a walk away casually to the corner so I can watch her reaction without her knowing I'm there. I see her walk up to her locker with her friends and puts in the code for the lock. The note falls out and she picks it up. She reads it out loud.

"Roses are red, violets are blue, faces like yours, belong in the zoo. Don't be mad, I'll be there too. Not in the cage, but laughing at you. Happy Valentines Day, Adelaide! Go flip yourself.

  She has a disgusted look on her face and crumples up the note. She throws it on the floor and stomps on it with her heels. I can't help but laugh. This was just too funny. Revenge is sweet, Adelaide. Revenge is sweet...
