olivia looked up from her phone when her bedroom door opened, and walker came in.

she got off her bed and went up to him, giving him a hug which he gladly returned.

"i was thinking we could watch a movie, if you want. or instagram live or something, i don't know," walker rambled after sitting down on olivia's bed.

"whatever we do is fine, as long as i'm with you," she sent him a soft smile.

"okay," he returned the smile.

"actually," she paused, speaking again when he looked back up at her. "there was something i wanted to talk to you about. i would've waited, but if i did it would be all i'm thinking about, so..." she trailed off.

"what's up?" he furrowed his eyebrows.

"look, walker. it's been 9 months. and i love what we have, and i love you, but i mean this is just so weird. i mean, i can't tell adrian, or leah, or xochitl, or anyone. the only people who know are our parents," she shook her head, "i get you wanted to wait to tell people, i did too, but nine months? really?" she slightly scoffed.

"and it's just- everytime i bring it up you just dismiss it like it's not a big deal, but it is to me. i tell adrian everything, and now when one of the biggest things ever happens to me, i just can't tell her because, what? what is it even? are- are you ashamed to be with me or something? i just- i just don't get it, walker," she shook her head and sighed.

"of course not! liv i love you, and i'm not ashamed to be with you, it's just-" he cut himself off.

"it's what, walker?"

"nevermind," he looked down, "look, liv. we just can't tell people, not yet." he looked back up at her with sincere eyes while she shifted her gaze from him to the floor.

liv scoffed, "then i can't do this anymore."

"what?"

"i can't do this, walker. not if we're just gonna sneak around and hide it all from our friends. i can't do this." her voice was so quiet it was almost a whisper.

"liv-" she cut him off, "just go, walker."

he looked at her, furrowing his eyebrows. she didn't look up at him.

he stood up and closed her door behind him.

liv looked up at the door after she heard it shut, letting the tears forming in the back of her eyes finally escape with a sigh.

"what did i just do?"
