#Elinya's POV

After returning to my peaceful life among the pack boys, I restarted my career as a model. I just started as a freelancer, but it was good to stand in front of the camera again. 

I was posing for magazine wearing blue dress with bead circlet at La Push cliff. The pack boys were watching while throwing each other off the ledge. 

After the shooting we were fooling around having fun when we heard familiar voices.

"Look, I mean that's Sam's cult. They suddenly skip school and stuff, and comeback looking all buff." (Jacob)

"What, are they on steroids or something?" (Bella)

"Maybe. Anyway, they are just cliff diving. Most of us jump from the lower ridge, but they show off by jumping off right here. Well, it is a total rush."

I was still wearing the dress and was laughing away when Paul managed to climb back up, dripping wet. He then sprayed the droplets everywhere by shaking his head violently. To save my dress from getting ruined, I ran behind Sam, who tossed Paul into the water again.

As Embry climbed up, I heard Bella gasp.

"Is that Embry?"

"Yeah. He skipped some school and suddenly, he was became buff and joined them. Now he won't talk to me or Quil."

Hearing this, Embry's face slightly fell, feeling guilty for not being able to tell his best friend. 

"Hey, hey. Don't be. I'm sure he will phase soon. Then he will understand."

True enough, few days later when the boys were on patrol, I got a phone call from Billy.

"Elinya, Jake is showing symptoms of phasing. He's boiling, gets angered easily, and he says it aches all over. I think something triggered him today when he went to the movies with Bella. Can you come over to help him?"

"I'll be on my way, Billy."

After scribbling a note about the current situation, I drove to Billy's. 

Jake was in his room groaning and shivering from the fever. 

"Jake? Jacob, can you hear me?"

"Wha...? Eli...?"

I lifted him up, leading him toward the door. Jake whimpered, but I had to get him out of the house before he explodes into a gigantic ball of fur, ruining the house.

Jacob was now growling in frustration because I was pulling on his arm. 

Oops...

Thankfully he didn't go into the 'shaking' phase and calmed down. He slumped down to the floor again, but I managed (though I don't know how) to get him out of the house and into the forest.

Embry was waiting for us and took over. I went back to Jake's to get him some pants. Sam came with me in his human form.

"What were you thinking?! You could have been attacked if Jacob phased. If he became too angry, god knows what would have happened!"

"Calm down Sam. Jake had self-control, I didn't get hurt. It all went well."

"You don't know what could have happened! You could've gotten hurt, you could have died!"

"...Sam, you are shaking. You might hurt Elinya." (Jared)

Paul slowly pulled me behind him while Jared tried to calm Sam down. I was suddenly pushed to the ground and something black and sandy rolled into the forest. 

"Was that...?"

"Sam and Jared. Come on, I'll take you back to the house."

"But Jake is..."

"Embry will bring him. Don't worry. You can make something for him to eat when he comes."

Climbing onto Paul who phased into his wolf form, I grabbed his fur, thinking of simple but delicious meal to make for our new pack member.
