"Opal! You get down! You're gonna hurt yourself!" Frisk yelled as you climbed the rafters on the side of the school building. "Hurt is my middle name!" You yelled back, and waved at someone who was staring at you in suprise as you climbed past their window.

"Opal!" Asriel yelled, worry evident on his face. "You're gonna fall!" You rolled your eyes, "I'm not gonna fall-"

And you fell.

"Welp, that ended terribly." You gasped out as pain shot through your back, and a sore numbness covered your whole body. "Opal! Are you ok?" Frisk yelled, immediatly running over to you, "Woah." You whispered, since when were there two Frisk's? "Man, that fall got me feeling some type of way..." You said, everything blurry as Frisk and Asriel's voices seemed far away.

Your breathing slowed, and your movements turned sluggish, and black clouds danced across your vision, eventually overtaking.

Your eyes closed and your body was swallowed by sleep.

G's POV

*Finally am I right?*

"Man, how worried are you? You haven't talked in 5 minutes." Sans said, amused at your situation. You glared at him as millions of 'What if's' swarmed your mind.

What if she gets kidnapped?

What if the teachers are mean?

What if she gets bullied?

What if she gets a boyfriend!?

Wait, where did that last one come from? You know exactly where It came from, Lover boy, Your mind argued and you scowled. "I'm just......scared." You answered, and Sans gaped at you. "The Amazing G actually cares about someone? I never thought the day would come!" Sans said, grinning at you sarcastically.

You growled but it was interupted by a loud ringing, and you looked at Sans, expecting him to answer it like he always does. "You answer it." Sans said, "Get your mind off Opal." He said, smirking. You glared at him and swiped the phone of it's hook, answering with a sullen 'Hello?'

"Hello is this um G? Is it G? I'm not sure how to pronounce that..." The lady on the other line said, and you almost groaned out loud. "Yes, this is him, do you need something?" You said, eager to get this over with.

"I'm the nurse for Pine High School, and am terribly sorry to inform you that Opal seems to have injured herself severely." She said, and worry struck through your body. "Well, what happened? Is she alright?" You asked, and Sans looked towards you, wondering who you were talking about. You mouthed 'Opal' to him and a look of fear grew on his face.

"Her friends won't tell us what happened, I'm afraid. She broke her wrist and and that seems to be all that's wrong, she just needs a cast and she'll be fine." The nurse said.

"Although we are sending her home early, so you will need to come pick her up." She said, and you quickly grabbed your keys, "Yeah, I'll be there as soon as I can." You said, ending the call and taking a deep breath.

"What's wrong with Opal?" Sans asked, and you exhaled before saying, "She broke her wrist." Sans looked even more scared and motioned out the door, "Well, what are you waiting for! Go get her!" You nodded and felt guilt rack your self-concious.

This wouldn't have happened if she had just stayed home, But noooooooo you were a dick and made her go, It said, and you agreed.

Opal's POV

"Ow!" You said, as Frisk poked at your cast. She grinned sheepishly and you glared at her, "Hey, you can't be mad at us we saved your ass back there." She said, bumping you with her shoulder. "Yeah, yeah, I know, you guys refused to tell the nurse what happened." You said, and Asriel grinned at you.

"Excuse me Opal, your guardian is here." The nurse said, as Frisk frowned. "You're really leaving?" She said, and Asriel joined in the moping as he frowned at you.

"I'll be back in a few weeks, guys." You said, "Plus, who's to say that I won't just randomly come to your guy's house in the middle of the night?" And they both grinned, laughing. "Hey, how you holding up, Kiddo?" G said, setting a cold hand on your shoulder as he then noticed Frisk and Asriel. "Oh, hey I see you guys have met Opal." He said, as Frisk nodded and Asriel smiled. "We gotta get going, girlie." G said, as you stood up and said goodbye to Frisk and Asriel.

You could have sworn Asriel sniffed you when you hugged him. What was it with monsters always sniffing you?

"I'm sorry about this, Opal." G said, a look of guilt on his face as you two walked from the building. "Sorry for what?" You asked, wincing when your wrist brushed up against the stair well. "Sorry for making you go, This wouldn't have happened if I hadn't." He said, looking at the ground. You stopped and laughed out loud, G looking at you weirdly. "You seriously think this is your fault?" You said, giving him a look of admiration.

"G, this happened because I was a dumbass and decided to climb the side of the school." You said, and G immediatly turned to look at you. "You tried to climb the school!?" He said, "Are you crazy!?" He finished.

You smirked.

"I prefer the term mentally badass."
