When it was still Morning *5K special*

⚠️Largest Warning of them all, There's is a point where abuse is present and without giving too much away, failed relationships are present as well. The mention of rape is also in there but barely. The biggest warning of all is thoughts of suicide that may or may not lead to actions. If you are uncomfortable with all this, I suggest you stop reading, for your own sake. Reader discretion is advised.⚠️

👇If you want better effects, than I advise you to play music when I give the note, it is not necessary though.👇

😬Geez you know this chapter is gonna be deep because of how professional I'm being with these emojis and warnings.😬

-Let's get this show on the road!-

//Your POV//

*A couple days later*

The Morning.

Ah, the crisp morning of early May.

I woke up in my room, the walls looking oddly more pail than usual.

Dice said this old house needed a new paint job but not at this level.

I assured myself the sun's rays were playing games with my eyes.

There was a bittersweetness of the air when I pushed the window open.

The air was humid, but not smoldering like what the later months will bring.

The sky had a small breeze attached to it, making it at least a little bit easier to breathe.

There was a lot more clouds in the sky than yesterday, and looked like it was going to rain later in the day.

Despite all the clouds, the blue atmosphere was still recognizable in patches between the clouds.

Dew on the blades of grass outside made the lawn glitter.

The overall dampness and serenity of the morning was simply magical.

At first.

I kicked my bed open and stood up.

I bent backwards a little bit and craned my aching back, trying to relieve the soreness.

I dug throw my Walmart, Plastic, clothing drawer, getting ready for the day.

I threw on a more pastel and girly outfit than usual.

I decided to ditch my iconic, gray, baggy sweatshirt that I wore at first simply out of comfort which soon became a regular.

I instead traded it for a pastel, coral, pink sweater with cut off sleeves, which I made only to run past my elbows a little bit.

For pants, I settled for black ripped jeans.

I swung a light, army green jacket over my sweater.

I left my hair fall down along my (back/neck *depends on how long your hair is*) and I brushed it out.

I looked at my hair for a little bit.

I realized how fucked up my haircut was.

*this all depends on how long your hair is, but to make this fair I'll make two options*

*Option 1: Long/Medium Hair*

It was totally uneven.

Some of my hair was shorter and some was long.

This was due to my failing attempt to give myself a haircut and failed at (attempting) doing layers.

I also noticed how dead my hair was and all my ends were frayed and screwed up.

*Option 2: Short Hair*

Some parts of my hair were knotted up and wishing to be brushed out more carefully.

I mostly ignored those parts.

Some sections of my hair were too short as well, and sometimes even to my head.

I also noticed how dead my hair was and all my ends were frayed and screwed up.

*Btw: Both options have the same outcome*

I walked over to my bag and pulled out a pair of red scissors.

I removed my jacket and shirt so I wouldn't get hair all over them.

My pants were easier to get hair off of.

I carefully combed my hair out even more smoothing out all the small, large and all around painful knots.

I went sectional, starting with the front of my hair to the back.

I snipped and snipped off hair, letting them be whisked away by the air conditioning flowing in the room, eventually landing to the ground.

After I had finished, I realized how much nicer and kept I looked.

This was the first time in a while that I tried to make myself look nice.

I put my sweater and jacket back on and put away the scissors.

I got a dust pan and small hand broom to clean up the hair on the ground.

I walked inside to see Dice on his phone while eating cereal.

"Morning, Dice," I greeted him.

"Mornin' Y/n-" He began to say before he looked up at me.

He was stunned at what I looked at.

"Well fuck me gently with a chainsaw," He murmured.

"Heathers reference? Really?" I chuckled.

"Wow Sunshine, you look more beautiful than usual. And..did you cut your hair?" Dice asked.

"Yeah, thought I'd touch it up a little bit," I tilted my head, making a snapping noise, as I got a bowl from the cabinet.

"You did a nice job. Especially on the outfit," Dice complimented me.

"Thanks. Thought you'd like it. You know that your lover has taste when he wakes up in a 'LOADED' T-shirt and dresses like he shops at the emo store everyday," I gave him an evil smirk.

"Hey! At least I try to match unlike you!"

"Touché, I guess," I shrugged, not that intimidated.

I pulled open the silverware drawer to get a spoon when something caught my eye.

The Knife from a couple days ago.

Long and shimmering, Sharp as a razor.

It was ready.

'I can't.. not again," I felt my head buzz.

I remembered how scared I was that day, hiding from him.

That was not him.

That was not my Dice.

I gripped my forehead trying to ease the pain.

"Y/n? Are you alright?"

Dice's voice snapped me back me in reality.

"Y-Yeah, just a headache, that's all," I pulled on a fake smile.

Dice got up to look at what I was caught staring at.

I quickly grabbed the spoon and closed the drawer quickly, causing it to slam.

Dice pulled it open again, let his eyes wander upon the culinary weapon.

He sighed and picked up the knife.

He walked over to the trash can and threw it out.

It was gone for good, but still not leaving my memory.

Dice then walked behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer.

I sunk my head into my sweater.

'I want my sweatshirt..' I whined to myself.

I needed the ail that the clothing brought, the calming factor it gave me.

Despite all the steins and marks, I still adored that scruffy sweatshirt.

But I decided against it, I didn't have to move since I had another, almost greater comfort already there, holding me in his embrace.

Dice rested his head on my shoulder and spoke words into my neck.

"No one's gonna hurt you, sunshine."

"Thanks."

I walked out of the hug and pored the cereal into my bowl.

Dice must've noticed my shaking hands so before sitting down he walked over to me and offered to help with the milk.

He pored the dairy into my bowl and set the bowl next to his seat so I could sit next to him.

I ate in pure silence.

I sighed loudly and decided to make conversation.

I didn't want that incident to bother me all day.

"So... Did you hear that there's a carnival coming to town? I was wondering if you'd like to go. I want to make it up to you for all the stuff you do to me.." I suggested "..and the fact you love me."

"Y/n, you don't need to do anything for me. All my love for you is unconditional. If that was a request for a date then I'll gladly go, but if it's out of apology for me loving you, then you can count me out!" Dice patted and rubbed my head with his hand.

His hand grazed my cheek and I covered his hand with mine, realizing his huge his were compared to mine.

"Thanks, Love."

Just then, a loud knock was heard at the door.

"I'll get it," I got up and walked to the front door.

I opened it slowly to reveal..two police officers?

"Good Morning, officers. What's bring you all here so early?" I asked them.

"Good morning to you too, ma'am. Is Y/n L/n here?" Asked one of the officers.

"Speaking," I nodded my head.

"Well, we are here to escort you home," The other policeman said in a less calm voice.

"What do you mean? I am home," I shrugged.

"A' Miss Victoria L/n, your mother, has said you've been taken from your home," The impatient officer stated as if it were obvious.

"Taken?! I left by choice," I crossed my arms.

Then it all clicked in my head.

'She wants me back. For a reason, I'm sure of it," I thought.

"Told you.." The impatient officer sighed to the other officer.

"Even so, we have a warrant. You're coming with us, ma'am," The more professional policeman made it final.

"I....oh my god.." I was lost for words.

"Well?" The tempered officer snarled.

"I'll..get my things," I lowered my head.

"Take your time," The older officer nodded.

As I walked away I heard them bicker, but that didn't matter.

I was being taken away from happiness again.

*You can play the song now*

I slowly started stuffing all my things in my backpack.

Once all the things I truly needed in my room were packed, I had to say goodbye to my room.

Mystery stalked over to my leg and brushed himself against it.

I leaned over and scratched behind his ear.

He was so blissfully unaware of what was happening.

Just like Dice.

"I'll see you soon, baby cakes," I choked up the words, saying goodbye to Mystery.

He did a soft "mew" as a reply.

I held my tears for after I say goodbye to Dice.

I walked down the stairs and told the officers I had to say goodbye to him.

The younger officer was about to protest when the other, more professional policeman said it was okay.

I walked over to the kitchen to see King Dice waiting for me.

"Hey! Y/n-...what's with the backpack?" He asked.

I felt the tears beg me to let them go now, but I couldn't.

I kissed him on the forehead.

"I'm so sorry," I whispered.

"What's wrong? Who are the people at the door?"

I bit my lip.

He leaned over, almost falling out of the chair to see the policemen waiting for me.

"I'm going home," I admitted.

"Let me go talk to them," He stood up.

"There's nothing we can do. They have a warrant," I put my hands on his chest.

"Y/n..." I saw tears forming in his eyes.

Dice pulled me into a hug and started to quietly weep.

"Don't. Please," He begged me.

"I have no other choice," I told him again.

For the final time, he cupped his hands on my cheeks and kissed me slowly and gently on my lips.

I felt the tears roll down my cheeks.

Dice then began to put his hands to work on something behind his neck and pulled away something from his neck.

What he pulled away was something I've never seen on him before.

It had a thin, silver chain with silver clasps, and a tiny, chrome, bird as the charm.

He must've worn it under his clothes since I've never seen him without his shirt off before either.

He made the motion for me to turn around and so I did.

Dice clipped it on and kissed the bird, then letting it fall under my sweater.

"To always have me with you," Dice explained.

"Until then, My love," King Dice presses his forehead on mine.

"Until then," I pressed mine back.

I walked over to the policemen and I followed them out.

They helped me with my bag and and into the backseat.

King Dice helplessly watched from the porch, crying.

Once we arrived at my old house, The police walked me to the door and my mom played the old, fake "nice-nice" act on them.

Once they left, she only growled; "Go to your room, now."

And so I did.

"Hell, sweet hell," I murmured in between tears and sniffles.

Soon after, my mother barged in, drunk as a skunk.

My father wasn't even present.

"Look at you! You pathetic nobody! You-URP!- really think you'd get away with this?! You damn idiot. Why'd you think we'd force ya to be with Hunter after y'all b-broke up? He was so eager to be with ya and I loved to see ya suffer under him. Hah! Under him, get it?" She spat out her broken English.

"You disgust me," I growled.

"Hey! Th-That's no way to talk to your mother, I made you! No wonder Hunter had to punish you, you filthy rat!" She kicked me in the stomach.

I coughed up blood, staining my sweater and mattress.

The shoe she was wearing made a print on the pink surface of my shirt.

"Your father is *URP* on his way home with H-Hunter, and guess what?! You're going to marry him. 'ike it or not," She slurred.

"How?!" I yelled.

"Charlie's college fund!" My "mother" winked.

"I fucking hate you all!! You're all terrible people!" I screamed.

"WHY YOU LITTLE!"

"GAHHahhhaaAAAHHH!" I screamed in agony.

She kicked me in the back of my head.

Everything cuts to black.

I woke up a few hours later.

I immediately dig through my bag to look for my phone.

I had to call someone!

Dice, 911, Ivory, Hilary, The President, anyone!

I didn't find my phone.

I also didn't find my Swiss Army knife for defense either.

I looked out my window to see darkness.

Someone painted black over the glass.

I was truly alone.

I walked over to the bathroom in my room.

It was as dirty as I remember it being.

Rusty pipes, ceiling of mildew and mold, faulty lighting and no hot water.

I looked in the mirror to see what used to be me.

Now it's just an empty cocoon of who I used to be.

My hair that was once calm and styled was now frizzy and tossed in all different directions.

My sweater was darkened with spots of blood and soot.

My jeans were ripped for real this time and not for style.

My green jack also had steins of 'battle scars' on it.

I sighed when I saw how much I looked a mess.

My dry cheeks, encrusted with frozen tears became wet again as I started crying.

I heard my mother kick my door,
"STOP CRYING IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S BEST FOR YOU, YOU REVOLTING SLUG!"

I whimpered when she did that and quieted my sobs.

I opened my mirror that was actually a medicine cabinet and found exactly what I was looking for.

Anti-Depressants.

My wonderful bottles of medication remained on the counter collecting dust.

'Why don't I just take 10 of these and be done?' I asked myself.

I even if I tried to see my friends again, I know I could never again, so what's the point of living?

I popped the cap open and wafted the smell of fresh plastic meeting a new day.

That reminded me of something.
