****Lyra's P.O.V.****
I woke up a distant scream. I looked around, and saw that Hermione had already laid an outfit out for me, so I got up and dressed.
"YOU BOYS NEED TO WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING, YOU COULD'VE KILLED HER!" I heard Mum's voice.
"Fred, George, do me a favor and SHUT UP!" I screamed. I heard a knock on my door, and automatically knew it was Harry. "Come in."
Harry walked in while I was brushing my hair. "Hey, Ly. You know it's September 1st, right?"
"Yeah, I know. I'm not really into the whole 'freak out rush' thing. Plus, I packed last night." I smiled.
"Cool. Mr. Weasley's got us Ministry cars this year." He said
"That's awesome! Let's go, I'm getting hungry." We walked downstairs and into the kitchen, only to see Mum cleaning up the last of the food. "Bu- wha- how?"
"Sorry, dear, Ron got here first. He ate all of it."
"RONALD BILLIUS WEASLEY, YOU GET IN HERE RIGHT NOW!" I screamed.
I heard a bang, some laughter, and Ron was staring at me, face covered in soot. "Wha- Oh no. Look, Mum, I really need to go, so..." He took off. Well, tried to take off; Harry and the twins were blocking the stairs. He looked to the front door, and his brother, Bill, who was visiting, stepped out.
"Look here, Ron. You ate all of the food, and we're all hungry, too. So you will either cook us some more breakfast, or be trapped in a room with an angry Lyra." Bill said, menacingly.
"But I can't cook, and she'll drown me! Or burn me! Or bury me alive!" He cried.
This argument went on for ten minutes until Bill apparated to a muggle store and brought home raw bacon. (A/N: Taylor, you get this joke, right? Taylor's my sister, for anyone creeped out by this.)
"Lyra, I brought one of your friends to make breakfast for us." He stepped to the side, and Amy came in.
"Hello, again, baby freak. Your freak friends asked me to come here. You know, this house really is horrible. You made friends with poor freaks? Geez, you parents would be appalled-"
"Amy, do me a favor and leave. You're not welcome here, and neither are you're insults, nor will you ever be welcome here, or anywhere near me, for that matter." I hissed, my voice deadly calm, but on the inside I was seeing red. Literally. I was on fire again. Then I noticed Ron holding the bag of bacon as close to me as possible.
"YOU BROUGHT HER HERE JUST TO GET LYRA TO COOK YOUR BACON?!" Mrs. Weasley screamed.
If I was angry before, it's nothing compared to now. "What? They many of you were in on this?" The all ran outside, but I created a ring of fire around the house, making sure I wouldn't hurt the Burrow, or Mum and Dad. The others, not so much. I noticed Harry walk in with Ginny, Hermione, and Sarah, signaling that they knew nothing about this.
"Maybe this will change your mind. I've only cried thrice in my life. Once when my birth mum died. Once when Amy both verbally and physically hurt me for a month straight. Both of these happened when I was seven. I didn't cry for six years after that. I broke down into sobs, on my birthday, nonetheless, because of Amy! She has ruined every birthday I ever had since my eighth! Any you have the nerve to bring her here just because you wanted bacon?!" I screech, and I can see a ball of water in my hand. I sigh, but throw it anyways, vanishing the ring of fire.
"My, we didn't mean to hurt you, we're your brothers, please..." They were pleading with me.
"I will forgive you, this one time, but if you ever, ever, try to use my powers for your own benefit again, you'll never hold that title, ever again. Understood?" I said
They all nodded, so I walked away. I walked into my room and gathered my stuff; we still had to go to Hogwarts today, after all. I walked down with my trunk to see Mum red-faced and glaring at her four children outside the Ministry car. Ginny walked down and burst into laughter. Ron and the twins got into the car, and Bill walked over to us shakily.
"I've face ancient spell and curses, mummies brought back from the dead, and a giant sphinx. But I don't think I'll ever not be afraid of Mum when she's angry." He said.
"Bill, dear, we really must head off to the platform, but we'll see you during break. HARRY, HERMIONE, LET'S GO!" She called. We heard a crash, and they came down covered in glitter.
"Sorry, we ran into one of Fred and George's pranks, Mrs. Weasley." Harry said.
"It's alright dear, now let's get going." She responded. We all walked to the car, and I laid my head down on Harry's shoulder.
"Wake me when we get there." I sighed contently.

"Wake me when we get there." She sighed, leaning on my shoulder. I found myself staring, and looked towards the window.
The cars hadn't started moving yet, so The twins kicked Hermione, Ginny, and Sarah out, and made them go to the car Mrs. Weasley was in. The tried to make Lyra leave, but I refused to let them wake her up, and she wouldn't let go of my arm. We waited in silence for a few minutes.
"Why did you kick Mione, Ginny, and Sarah out?" I asked.
"You like her, don't you mate?" Ron smirked.

The boys shoved Ginny, Hermione, and I out of their car. Rude. Anyways, so we just sat in the backseat talking about nothing.
"Why do you think the boys kicked us out?" I asked, and Ginny nodded.
Hermione just rolled her eyes. "Didn't you guys see anything? Right before they kicked us out, they started smirking at Harry, who was staring at Lyra. They kicked us out to interrogate him about kiking Ly!" She exclaimed.
"Fantastic." I beamed
"Why is that fantastic?" Ginny asked.
"Because I've known her for, what, twelve years, and I can read Lyra Archer like a book."

". . .because we saw you staring, mate." I hear Ron say.
"Wazgoinon?" I asked groggily.
"Oh, hi Lyra. Sorry for waking you." Harry said, glaring at Ron.
"Alright, kids, we're here!" Mr. Weasley called back to us. We got out, placed our trunks on a trolley, and started wandering through the station.
"Percy, you go through first with Ron. Fred, George, you next. Then, Sarah and Hermione. I'll go through with Ginny, and Harry, I'll have you go last with Lyra." Mum called.
"G-go through where, exactly?" Sarah and I chorused.
"The wall, of course! Here, watch us. C'mon, Percy, Penelope can wait for a sec." Ron smirked. I looked at him in disbelief as he ran straight through the brick wall. So did Fred, George, Mum, Ginny, Hermione, and a shaking Sarah.
"It'll be okay, Ly. Together?" Harry said, holding out his hand.
I took it, "Together." And we ran through the wall, only to see a scarlet train. Hogwarts Express was written on it in gold lettering. We got on, and started looking for a compartment.
"Guys, come in here, there's just a man." Sarah called.
"Who's that?" Ron asked, stepping in.
"Professor R.J. Lupin." Hermione said.
"How does she know that?" He asked, baffled.
"It's on his briefcase, Ronald." We rolled our eyes at him.
Suddenly, Harry came bursting into the compartment. "I have to tell you something. Are you sure he's asleep?" He was eyeing the professor.
"Yeah, what's wrong?"
"Sirius Black is after me."

I need to find her. My daughter. Their son. His child.
