Imagine- it's shadows birthday and there's a party at north's workshop... with a special surprise

Today was shadows 25th birthday. The big 25. Pitch couldn't believe his little girl was already 25 years old. He had been around for quite a long time now And he couldn't believe that his daughter was now 25.

Now pitch and the guardians wanted to make her birthday absolutely special, well more special than she already was. So they decided to have a ball at north's workshop. There was a ballroom at the top of the workshop, in a very gigantic room with beautiful Christmas lights.

Since it was north's workshop and shadows birthday was near Christmas, there was a big Christmas tree in the corner, with beautiful ornaments, tinsel and a bright silver star on the top.

There were going to be lots of food, drinks, music, and all kinds of festivities. Some of shadows friends would be there as well.

It was around 6:00 pm and shadow was going to be there any minute. She knew they were throwing her a birthday ball but she didn't know what to expect.

Tooth was helping bunnymund fix his tie, sandy helping with pitches. Just for tonight, pitch had ditched his robes and decided to wear a grey dress shirt with a black blazer, black trousers and black dress shoes. His hair was still spiky as usual, but a little slicked back.

Tooth had a green and blue off the shoulder dress, a little bit past her knees with blue flats. Her makeup consisted of pink eyeshadow, mascara and pink lipstick.

Bunnymund just wore a blue and white tie, but he made sure his fur was very well combed through. North was wearing something very similar to pitch, but in red and white. And sandy was wearing a gold suit and tie with a top hat. So fancy.

Now Jack, he looked the most handsome. He had on a dark blue blazer with a white dress shirt, blue trousers, and for once... he was wearing shoes!! He decided to wear some white dress shoes and his snowy white hair was combed through very nicely.

"Is she almost here?" Jack asked as he glanced up at north, who looked down at his watch, smiling to himself.

"Any minute. I feel it in my belly." He said as he grabbed his belly, making Jack shake his head and chuckle to himself.

They didn't have to wait any longer because the big white doors opened, and all of the guardians, and pitches mouth dropped.

In walked shadow and She had the most beautiful dress on. It was strapless, the bodice a very dark blue with a white satin ribbon, the dress itself was long and it hugged her body perfectly. The dress also faded to white, almost like the dress was adorned with snow.

Her naturally wavy blonde hair was curled and over her shoulder, accentuating her face. She had sparkly blue eyeshadow, mascara and ruby red lipstick. She had picked out simple but beautiful diamond earrings, a silver bracelet and ring that Jack made, and a simple silver necklace with a little heart charm.

Her shoes were just the right heel height and they were blue with little white snowflakes.

Shadow walked towards the guardians, who still had their jaws dropped. She blushed like crazy, a small giggle escaping her lips. "Guys, you can stop staring now." She teased playfully and that caused them to snap out of it, Jack being the first to walk in front of her.

"Happy birthday snowflake. You look absolutely radiating," he said as he placed his hands on her waist, and without even thinking, kissing her lips.

Shadow giggled when Jack pulled away, immediately noticing the red lipstick that was now on his lips.

"Thank you honey. But you now have my lipstick on you." She laughed and Jack blushed a bright red, quickly moving so he could get the lipstick off.

Next to step was Bunnymund. "Hello there Sheila. You look wonderful. And of course, happy birthday." He complimented and shadow smiled brightly.

"As do you Bunnymund. See you went with a tie. Very suiting." She winked playfully before tooth enveloped her in a hug.  "Happy birthday!!" She squealed happily.

"Oh goodness! Hi tooth! You look beautiful!" She said and tooth smoothed out her dress. "Oh, thank you! Just kind of a last minute thing. And you look gorgeous."

Shadows eyes sparkled as she looked down at her dress. "Thanks tooth. Jack actually helped with the design. But this was his first time actually seeing me in it."

Sandy tipped his top hat at shadow, who giggled in response. "Nice to see you too, sandy." She said and north took her hands in his.

"My dear, happy birthday. We want to make this day as special as we can." He said and shadow gently kissed his cheek. "You already have." 

Finally, her father. It had taken a while for the guardians and her father to get along... but it finally happened. And she couldn't be happier.

"Daddy, you actually got rid of the robes and you are wearing a suit. I'm impressed." She playfully and gently punched his arm, making pitch chuckle.

"Believe me my little nightmare, I'm going back to my usual attire tomorrow. But I did this for you because I love you. Happy birthday." He said and pulled her into a hug. She wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head against his chest, sighing happily.

"Now, let the festivities begin!!" North yelled excitedly and the music started.

After eating and doing some toasts, it was time for presents. Shadow told them they didn't have to get her anything but they insisted. Again, they wanted to make her birthday the best birthday she ever had.

First was Sandy. His gift was in a golden box with a white bow, Some of his golden sand even adorned the white bow. It was a gold jumpsuit and a pair of gold heels.

"Oh Sandy, this is gorgeous! Thank you." She said and Sandy gave her a thumbs up in response. Next was north.

North decided to make her gift and put a lot of love into it. "This one, the yetis helped me make it but the idea was mine." He said as he handed her a red and white wrapped gift. She opened it and a small gasp escaped her lips.

It was a beautiful snow globe and inside was a little miniature version of her, sitting on a pile of snow with a red dress and she had the biggest smile on her face. Behind her were little miniature versions of the guardians and pitch. On the bottom of the snow globe, it said "Happy birthday, love north. Be on the nice list"

"North, this is so so sweet. And this was your idea? This is one of the best things you have ever made." She said as she carefully set it down before moving on to the next gift, which was from bunny.

Bunny made her close her eyes a moment, and she felt something on her wrist. She opened her eyes and her eyes widened. It was a gold chain with Easter eggs, hearts and two boomerangs in the shape of a heart.

"Mate, this is so simple, yet so thoughtful and so beautiful. Thank you so much."

Tooth was next and she seemed to very excited about it. "Now shadow, this is something that I found and it absolutely screamed your name." She said as she handed shadow a box. She opened it, revealing a pair of white flats, with black and blue butterflies.

Butterflies were her favorite insects and they were just so beautiful. Such delicate and gentle creatures.

"Oh my god, tooth!! These are too cute! And you know how much I love butterflies!" She laughed warmly and tooth pulled her into a hug. "Thank you tooth."

Now, the final two. Pitch, then Jack. Pitch had something very special for his baby girl.

He carefully brought over a black box with a red bow. The box made a noise and it took shadow by surprise. Was there something alive in there?  

Shadow took the lid off and she immediately covered her mouth, trying to contain her excitement. There was a black cat, with beautiful golden eyes and a gold collar around its neck.

"No you didn't..." she whispered to herself as she carefully took the cat out of the box, holding it in her arms. The cat sniffed her nose and nuzzled it's head against her cheek, making her heart melt.

"Daddy... you know I've always wanted a black cat and you kept telling me no... what made you change your mind?" She asked and pitch shrugged, gliding towards her.

"I know we have the nightmares and I know you've been begging me to get you a cat. Seeing how badly you wanted one, I decided to give in. But you and Jack have to take care of it."

Jack and shadow had been living together for a couple years now. Pitch had told Jack beforehand that he was going to get her a cat and he agreed to it.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you daddy. I'm going to name her ash." Ash meowed happily as if agreeing to her new name

Now, the moment of truth. Jacks gift.

The guardians and pitch knew what was going to happen, but shadow had no idea. Pitch gently took ash out of her arms as Jack walked towards her, taking her hands in his.

"My beautiful snowflake, it is your special day. We've known each other for a while now and we've only started living together for a few years. Every day, you make me so happy, you make the days brighter and you love me for who I am. You're sweet, loving, funny, absolutely beautiful... there's just so many things about you that I absolutely love and adore. You are my better half, my soulmate and I promise to love you, cherish you and protect you forever."

Then, he got down on one knee, shadows hands flying to her mouth as her eyes started watering. "O-oh Jack..." she tried so hard not to sob but tears made their way down her cheeks.

Jack reached into his coat pocket, pulling out a blue box. He opened it, and inside was a ring, with a sapphire in the middle and the band seemed to be snowflakes.

"My love, will you please marry me?" He asked as his own eyes watered. Shadow quickly nodded her head as she giggled happily. "Yes, yes, yes I'll marry you!" She said and the guardians and pitch clapped and cheered. Tooth and bunny were ugly crying, and pitch was close to crying.

Jack slipped the ring onto her finger before standing up and cupping her face in his hands. She wrapped her arms around his neck and brought him down to her lips, kissing him passionately. She was now his fiancée, his bride to be and they both couldn't believe it. 

"I love you so damn much, Jack. With all that I am." She said against his lips before he rested his forehead against his.

"I love you too snowflake. And I promise to love you now and forever." Shadow had tears and mascara running down her face. At this point, she didn't even care that she was crying or that her mascara was running. She was just so happy.

"And I love you daddy. I love all of you guys!" She laughed, the guardians, pitch and ash joined them for a group hug

The rest of the night turned out to be the best birthday ball ever. Shadow would never ever forget it and she loved the guardians, her dad pitch, kitty ash and her fiancée Jack so much.
