Still blaming Erika. Where were we? Right.

The gym was closed, so they had to wait. But after a few hours, Snow got worried. Hearthnight went looking and actually found the source. Erika was dealing with an admin of the group that had attacked their parents. It brought rage from Snow.

"Snow... show them what happens when our family gets hit." His eyes flashed as he held out his hand.

"Transfer."

A pokeball appeared before he tossed it, revealing their father's Pikachu. Oh now that was good. Hearthnight grinned before she called out.

"Hey buster! Fight someone your own size!" He turned and frowned.

"Are we talking egos or-" Pika zapped him after recognizing him.

"Oops." He hissed before calling out.

"Grunts! Deal with them! I'll get the leader and take her down!" Erika caught Snow's eye as they flashed, letting power flow into Pika. Then one lightning bolt tore the whole group down.

"No... you... don't..." He froze before Erika spoke.

"Oh no..." A powerful light struck him down before she went over. "Thanks for the help." Hearthnight smiled before Snow lowered his head, his pen appearing in his hand.

"Of course! We need to talk to you." She paused before kneeling down to Pika.

"Let me guess... Pika from Red's team?" The mouse pokemon nodded before the two kids paused. She then glanced at them. "You two are the quad's kids?" They nodded.

"Yea... I'm Hearthnight. This is my brother Snow." Erika smiled as she stood up.

"Your auras... need work. I'm guessing you worked with the other gym leaders?" They nodded. "Well, Hearthnight, you can use anyone it seems. Snow..." She smiled. "Why don't you come with me? We'll regroup at the center."

His eyes lit up as his abilities really showed their true form. With just Gallop, he was able to give enough of an aura to burst a boulder. He had yet to pull himself together before she smiled.

"Not bad. I'm sure that now you'll be able to do your own training to unlock more and even design your own style." He blinked a little as he looked at his hands.

"Really?" She nodded.

"You have unlocked its true form. It's now time for you to develop your style." He gave a small smile as she hummed. "Let's go talk to you sister and get to the bottom of this mystery."

Hearthnight was happy about his discovery and was able to do some training by herself. They rested at the center as they looked over the info.

"I keep getting info that a gym is hiding their base. But nothing shows which one." Hearthnight hummed before Snow paused.

"Wait... What gyms have been checked?" She paused.

"All but Cinnabar and Viridan. Why?" His eyes flashed as he remembered Vyle's stance. He understood now. He was warning them that something felt off about the gym!

"If we think about it... there's no one defending Viridian." Hearthnight paused before catching on.

"That's because Dada Blue would be. But his injury-" She stopped herself. "His injury... opened up the gym..." Erika followed.

"They would've been able to get into the gym and work on the base in that time. And if he was also looking after the family-" Snow gulped.

"Then they would've had enough time to build a base under it." He glanced at his sister. "That's what Vyle's stance meant. He felt something was wrong at the gym. I bet he sensed the base without realizing it." Erika gulped.

"We have to go now. Who knows what could've happened to them."
