The wicked queen Lila, puts the apples, both the toxic ones and nontoxic alike into a bowel. She does not notice when the bowel shifts a bit.
                         She leaves the kitchen to use the facilities.  She returns to the kitchen and picks up an apple. She bits into it and thinks, it sure is rather sweet.  She laughs a sinister laugh.

               She thinks, at last, I will get the better of that stepdaughter of mine and she will pay for what she has done.  She will pay with her life. 
              
                      "Uh, oh!" Lila says.  She notices her tummy feels funny and her feet a bit wobbly now.  To her sheer horror, she figures out that is she who will be dead soon.  It must have been the wrong apple, but how?

                  "How?  How could this happen? No, I am meant to be queen!"  Lila protest.  She tries to grab hold to the table, but soon grows weak and passes out. She feels her breath grow shortly and hears herself wease a bit. She thinks, ugh, how could I be such a fool?  This is the last thing on her mind as she closes her eyes in death.

                  Princess Marinette Snow White hears the commotion in the kitchen and rushes to her stepmother's side. She sees her on the ground and checks for a pulse.
                  She finds none and thinks, what on earth happened here?  She looks around the place.  Upon further examination, she sees the bowel of apples with one missing.  She could have sworn there were more here earlier that day.  She searches for the missing one and finds it. She sniffs it and can smell the hint of poison. 

               Then, she notices that two other apples have the same odd look and odor to them as well. She puts two together and gasps.   

         "Oh, my dear, cruel, stepmother, you must have tried to kill me.  It seems though that I have gotten the last laugh for you see I never did like apples," Marinette says.

             "No, I was always more of a strawberry person.  Good thing too or I would have fallen into your trap.  Although, by the looks of it you must have fallen into your trap yourself, which I must say is a horrid fate even for someone as awful as yourself,"  Princess Marinette says.  She speaks as if the lady before her could hear her. She knows that is not possible.

                 Marinette calls for a servant and the lady enters the room.  "Yes, Miss?"  The woman asks. She can tell this person who speaks to her is kind despite the disguise.

                "Take the body of the Wicked Queen and bury it at once, and tell the people the good news the kingdom is in good hands,"  She says to the servant.

                   "Oh, yes, I will do as you ask,"  She says.

                   Marinette removes the veil to reveal her face and the servant gasps.  The young girl named Jenny can not believe it.  It is someone she never thought to see in the castle again.
