It was already the time past midnight and the cloudless sky is illuminated by the crimson moonlight. Malalim na ang gabi ngunit nasa labas pa rin si Snow White at naglalakad sa madilim na daan ng gubat. Her steps were quiet enough as she strides with vigilant eyes, shifting her gaze in every direction. A long whip in her hands.

Kalahating oras na siyang nasa labas at halos malibot na niya ang sangkapat ng kagubatang kasing lawak yata ng mundo. Her medieval black maid dress is already bathing in mud and dust while some seams are torn out.

Seconds later she heard a rustling noise near her. Agad na humigpit ang pagkakahawak niya sa latigo na tanging pinagkukunan niya ng proteksyon. Snow White turned to the bushes behind her and then small creatures emerged quickly as they attacked her synchronizely.

'Dwarves!'

She cursed to herself before lashing the whip to the red-eyed creatures. Hindi aabot ang mga ito sa kaniyang tuhod ngunit maliksi ang kanilang galaw habang walang habas na inaatake gamit ang matutulis na kuko si Snow na panay ang paglatigo sa mga ito. Nangangalay na ang kaniyang braso ngunit hindi siya tumigil sa pag-atake dahil kung hindi ay siya ang magdudusa sa kamay ng mga maliliit na nilalang.

"Arggh!" Snow White glared at the dwarf who scratched her free arm. Tumalon siya paatras at bumwelo. She made a one last hard blow on the remaining dwarves, the sound of each blow of her whip echoed in the thin air.

One by one, the dwarves lied down lifeless on the soiled floor until nothing was left. Snow killed seven of them. Their dead bodies gleamed with a golden light until they disperse into dust.

Humihingal at tagaktak ng pawis si Snow White unti-unting nanghihina ang kaniyang katawan. Ngunit hindi niya ito ginawang dahilan para tumigil sa paglalakbay sa madilim na gubat. In this world where demons and mythical creatures exist, resting around a corner is not a way to regain energy from a death defying battle, it is a death wish. Red-eyed creatures are freely roaming around the forest and there's no doubt that they will attack and ravish anyone they see.

Kaya kahit halos bumagsak na ang katawan ni Snow ay pinilit niyang tumayo at humakbang habang nanatiling alerto sa kaniyang paligid. Her every step was careful not to make a single noise from the dry leaves scattered on the land. Her eyes were half close. Her grip on the whip loosened. She can feel her knees getting weak but she continued walking.

Nang ihakbang niya ang kaliwang paa ay nakarinig siya ng isang mahinang pitik kasabay ng pagdaos-dos ng malaking hawla mula sa itaas. The impact made a loud rumble that almost shake the ground. Nanghihinang napaupo si Snow White. She's trapped!

Mula sa anino ng naglalakihang puno na nakapaligid sa hawla ay lumabas ang pitong lalaki. Their eyes were piercing red as they casually walked towards the steel cage. They were smirking at her, showing their victory into something.

'The seven deadly sins. I didn't expect to meet them sooner.'

Snow White tried to get a hold on her whip. These demons that ruled the underworld apart from Hades are completely dangerous. She can't let her guard down.

"Well, well, well, what do we got here?" nanunudyong pahayag ni Envy.

"A strong-looking servant. What a surprise!" Si Greed na ang sumagot sa tanong ng kambal.

The prince of temptation moved an inch to her direction and squat into her eye level. "You must be very tired, babe. I can do something for that. I'll replace it with ultimate pleasure. What do you think?" Lust slid his hand in the cage and tried to reach for her cheeks but she immediately turn away with disgust.

Lust chuckled. "Feisty," he said before walking back in line with his brothers.

Gluttony and Sloth wasn't paying attention as they drifted into their own worlds. Sina Pride, Wrath at Lust ay matamang sinusuri si Snow White habang ang kambal ay nagbabangayan na naman. Meanwhile, Snow didn't show any weakness. Matapang niyang sinaulubong ng tingin ang mga kasalanan kahit nanginginig ang kaniyang kalamnam.

'If I were to die later, then I will not let them have the satisfaction of getting me scared.'

Pride adjusted his glasses. He looked at her straight in her eyes with no emotion on his face. "Take her soul."

Naglakad ang magkapatid palapit sa kaniya. As if on cue, she took an apple from her pocket and she took a big bite. Nang lumunok siya ay naramdaman niya ang mabilis na pagdaloy ng kapangyarihan sa kaniyang katawan. She gripped her whip and lashed the cage into pieces.

Hindi man lang nagulat ang magkapatid. Sabay silang umatake. Snow white had a hard time fighting with the demons. She blocked Gluttony's flying lollipops. Dodged Wrath's deadly sword. Split Sloth's heavy pillows into two. But it wasn't enough to vanquish the seven sins. The sharp edges of Envy and Greed's playing cards pierced through her skirt. Lust attacked her with a green vine whip with thorns around it and she expertly interwined it with her whip making him unable to move.

"Do you want a free condom?" Lust asked, a chocolate condom in his free hand. Snow White grimaced before kicking his balls. Napaigik ang prinsipe ng temptasyon at sinapo ang parteng iyon ng kaniyang pagkalalaki. Napapangiwi ito sa sakit.

Bumwelo si Snow upang latiguhin ang ngayong nakaluhod na prinsipe ngunit naramdaman niya ang pagbaon ng matulis na bagay sa dibdib, sa kaniyang puso. She stopped her action on mid-air as the pain in her chest intesified. Walang dugong lumabas. Just like the dwarves, her body illuminated as she felt her energy and soul being drained. Bright golden dusts began evaporating from her body. Bago pa siya mawalan ng malay, Pride's last words ringed through her ears.

"It's game over, Snow White. Yet you can't escape hell."

Napabalikwas ng bangon si Snow. Malalim ang kaniyang paghinga habang sapo ang dibdib. She's dead. It's over.

She let out a frustrated sigh before taking the NerveGear off her head. This extraordinary machine that resembles a helmet can take its user into a virtual world we call Gehanna, a world where players are on a quest to survival from demons and mythical creatures. I am one of the 20 lucky persons who received a priviledge to a test experiment of NerveGear.

Maingat na nilagay ni Snow ang NerveGear sa isang kahon sa bedside table at hindi sinasadyang napadako ang tingin niya sa nakabukas niyang balkonahe. Kitang-kita niya sa katapat na balkonahe ang mga kapitbahay niyang nasa isang silid.

Unfortunately, kasama ang pitong magpipinsang iyan sa exclusive experiment and they would always ruin her every game and even in real life. Tamang-tama lang talaga sa kanila ang mga pangalan nila. Mga demonyo sila! And they bring the 7th hell out of me.

Tiningnan niya ng masama ang pitong kalalakihang katatapos lang ding magligpit ng kani-kanilang NerveGear. When Pride and her gaze met, mas lalong tumalim ang kaniyang mata. But Pride only smirked at her.

“I told you, princess. You can't escape hell, 'cause we are hell itself.” Sinundan iyon ng pang-aasar mula sa mga pinsan nito kaya tumaas ang presyon niya't nanggagalaiti na siya sa galit.

"Better luck next time, Chione."

"And into another next time, Mademoisselle."

"Just give me your cheesecake as my prize."

"You'll pay for kicking my balls virtually, babe!"

"Will you shut up! You're too loud!"

"That game bores me to the core. You're no challenge Snow."

Bago pa niya masinghalin ang mga ito ay biglang sumara ang malaking kurtina, blocking her view from her evil neighbors.

"Didn't I tell you to avoid to avoid those seven cousins of the devil?" Snow rolled her eyes as she strides back to her bed. Umupo siya sa gilid ng kama at inayos ang kaniyang prosthetic leg.

"Tell me, Chandresh," binalingan niya ang butler. "How can I avoid them when I 'clearly can't avoid them' in the virtual world and in real life? They are the seven deadly sins in Gehanna and also the seven annoying cousins in Earth. Now what do you want me to do?" Snow gave Chandresh a dead pan look but her butler just smiled.

"I want you to attend to your piano lesson, Your Majesty. Sloth is probably coming from next door."

"Oh great. And here I thought you want me to avoid them."

Chandresh laughed before patting her head like a puppy. "Your Majesty, it's not bad to ask one of them a favor. Besides, his lessons are free of charge."

"Oh whatever."
