Namjoon watched over Igarashi's figure from afar since he couldn't approach her infront of everyone. He had to hide himself since he wasn't sure if the disguise could hide their identities. He looked around only to witness his brother Jungkook devouring cupcakes from the buffet like a maniac. He remembered that Jungkook had been whining about how much hungry he was at home.

He cursed under his breath since he was absorbing so much attention from everywhere with his not so good manners. Jungkook's cheeks were puffed like a chipmunk.

But he sighed in relief when Yoongi pulled Jungkook away from the buffet and made their way towards Namjoon. Jungkook was hicupping continuesly, trying to devour the cupcake which was half out from his mouth.

Namjoon facepalmed. "Kook,what the fuck!"

Jungkook took the half of the cupcake which was out of his mouth and offered it to Namjoon innocently trying to calm down his hyung.

Yoongi made a disgusted face.

Namjoon, "What the –just eat it"

Yoongi smacked Jungkook's head."You could have got caught"

Jungkook gulped down the cupcake with so much difficulty. "It was *hiccup* so tasty. I couldn't *hiccup* stop"

Namjoon and Yoongi shook their heads being completely done with their youngest.

"Be more careful kook. We can't afford to fail this mission",Namjoon said caressing Jungkook's back to stop him from hicupping. "Noona is infront of us but we can't reach her until Dongwook give us the signal"

"I –*hiccup* I think she already knows we a–*hiccup* are here. Look,she is staring at h–*hiccup* hoseok hyung who was hiding behind a pillar",Jungkook pointed at Hoseok who was panicking behind a pillar.

Meanwhile, Taehyung and Jimin were inside the blonde girl's room to fix Taehyung's fake chest.

She was looking away while Jimin was fixing Taehyung's chest. She was too embarrassed to look at them.

"So,what is your name?",Jimin asked after done fixing Taehyung's chest.

She turned around and cleared her throat. "Lara Johnson"

The two boys nodded.

"So,you are a businesswoman or someone close to Lang Igarashi?",Taehyung asked wanting confirm that she is not an assassin who would snitch on them to Emperor.

She shook her head. "No, I'm not a businesswoman. I'm just here because of Igarashi. She is my guardian"

Jimin,Taehyung, "What!"

Lara was startled with their outburst.

"She is your guardian?!I mean -she had never shared such an information with public "

Lara looked at Taehyung confused. "Why would she? It's personal"

Taehyung and Jimin looked at each other with questioning gazes. But they were snapped out of their thoughts when she spoke again.

"Are you guys here to,......hurt her?Disguising as women —are you spies?",she somehow had a scared face.

Jimin,"No we are not. Neither we are here to hurt her. We just need to speak to her"

The girl wasn't completely convinced so she didn't let her guard down. "You two saved me. That's why I'm helping you. But if you do anything unnecessary, let me warn you,you two will not walk out alive"

Taehyung sighed. "We know it. But we had to take this risk okay. We will never hurt her. As my brother said,we are just here to meet her"

Lara nodded cautiously. "So,what are you two to her?"

"We can't share the information. We don't want to risk our lives here any longer",Jimin said coldly. "Thank you for your kindness ma'am. But we need to leave now"

But Taehyung pulled Jimin away from Lara to have a private conversation.

"Hey,I got an idea",Taehyung whispered.

Jimin,"What?"

Taehyung, "Why don't we ask her help? She looked nice. What if we ask her to ask noona to meet us here?"

Jimin frowned. "Are you serious Tae? I mean –we can't trust her!"

Taehyung, "I know! But listen,no one will suspect if noona come to this room since she is Lara's guardian"

Jimin shook his head. "No. I still can't do this. She might snitch on us!"

"But if she wanted to snitch on us,she would have done it a long time ago! But look at us. We are still fine. Right?"

"You guys are whispering too loud. I can still hear you two",Lara spoke.

Jimin sighed rubbing his templates. "We are leaving",he dragged Taehyung towards the door but stopped hearing her.

"You two are her brothers?"

Taehyung looked back. "How do you know?"

"You two were literally calling her 'noona' right now and obviously I heard you two"

Jimin also looked at her.

"If you want,I can help you two. I can ask her to come here"

Jimin and Taehyung looked at each other.

A knock on the door interrupted them. Both Taehyung and Jimin panicked thinking they got caught into a trap.

"Did you deceive us?!",Taehyung whisper yelled.

Lara widened her eyes and shook her head vigorously. "No no no! I didn't tell anyone! You two can hide in the bathroom until I check who is that "

The two brothers had no choice but to listen to her. They ran inside the bathroom and locked the door.

Lara went to the door and looked at the door screen to see a woman standing outside. Frowning, she opened it. "Uhm,who are you?"

She sighed. "Can't you recognise me? It's me Lee Dongwook "

Lara widened her eyes before throwing herself on him for a hug. Dongwook chuckled and patted her back. "Okay okay little one. Let me in first"

Lara parted away and let him in. "Oh my god! It's been so long! Where were you?!",she asked as she closed the door.

Dongwook sighed sitting on the bed. "It's a long story. For now,I need your help"

Lara nodded signalling him to go ahead.

"Well,I need you to ask Igarashi to come to this room. I need to meet her some guests"

Lara blinked few times. Her eyes went to the bathroom door only to see Taehyung and Jimin coming out. Dongwook looked back and almost screamed. "WOAH!You two startled me!what the hell are you doing here?!"

"So,you know her?",Jimin asked pointing at Lara. "Is noona really her guardian?"

Dongwook nodded with a confused face still wondering how they met Lara.

"Is she –I mean you know uhm —",Taehyung tried to take out the words not knowing if Lara knows about these assassin things

Dongwook shook his head. "No,she isn't. And you don't have to worry. She knows everything about these assassin things"

Jimin,"So,did our sister adopt her or what?"

Dongwook sighed heavily nodding his head. "It's kinda like that. Lara's sister was a close friend to us. Krista Johnson. She was an assassin"

"So,where is she now?"

Dongwook looked at Lara who was looking down with a sad expression. And boys didn't need to hear the answer since they got the signal. She is already dead. But what made the two brothers shock was that Igarashi had a friend other than Dongwook.

Jin leaned on the headboard of the bed after their long make out session. Qin Xiu was beside him already staring at him.

"Qin Xiu,I know that we can't be together. So,I won't pressure you"

Qin Xiu nodded sadly.

"But I want you to be honest with me. I need to know about my sister"

Qin Xiu looked away forcing out a long sigh. "I can't talk about it"

Jin,"You really are loyal to your boss huh?"

"It's not the problem. Frankly speaking, I don't know what happened"

Jin furrowed his eyebrows. "What do you mean?"

"I literally meant what I said. I saw her coming to meet Emperor. After hours later,I saw Mr.Lee,Dongwook's father going inside the hall with few doctors. And then they took out Igarashi's wounded body out. After that, I didn't see her for months until I was appointed as her bodyguard"

Jin stared at him moon eyed. "S-She was wounded?"

Qin Xiu nodded. "She wasn't conscious. I thought she was dead",Qin Xiu still remembered the way he felt chill running down his body when he saw how her limbs were fallen numb beside her body when they were taking away. Her face was completely covered with blood. He had seen so many deaths and had killed so many people but seeing Igarashi that way was something he never expected. It was terrified. Who would dare to do such a thing to her? No one except herself or the Emperor.

And he remembered the screams he heard from inside the hall. It was hers. It was still unbelievable to him.

"I heard screams. Like a scream that a wounded animal gives when it gave up all the hopes to live",Even Qin Xiu didn't notice himself being in a trance remembering the earpiecing scream of Igarashi. She never screams even in the most painful time. But what made her scream? What was the pain which made her scream? It must be the most painful thing she could never bare.

There is always a point where even the strongest person breaks down.
