Igarashi finally decided to confront her father. With Dongwook beside her, she walked towards her father's home office since she had already asked Wonbin to meet her.

Dongwook stopped when they reached the door. "Let me come too"

She shook her head. "I'm fine by myself. You should check on Jennie"

Dongwook widened his eyes. Blinking few times,he finally decided to ask. "What are you saying? I--"

"She didn't go home yesterday. She is in a guest room. Go" She calmly replied. It seems like she already guessed what was happening between Jennie and him. She is too much sharp to notice Dongwook's slightest weird behaviour.

Without saying much,she entered inside shutting the door onto his face.

Igarashi was a bit taken back seeing Taehyung inside with Wonbin. As soon as he saw her,he offered his rectangular smile.

"Taehyung, I'll consider about your request. Now be a good boy and leave. Dad has to talk with your sister"

Taehyung nodded obediently and smiled. Passing his sister,he glanced at her with a serious yet curiously look. It must be about yesterday. He thought.

He secretly opened his phone and called Jimin. On his way,he stumbled on his own leg and fell onto the near by couch. "Ouch!!Aah, fu--fish!" He immediately corrected himself not wanting to get punished for cursing.

Slowly slipping his phone under a couch pillow,he dashed outside.

Igarashi and WonBin stared at the extra boy with raised eyebrows.

Taehyung made a peace sign before leaving completely this time.

Igarashi closed the door and sat down infront of her father.

"Can you tell me what's going on?"Wonbin finally asked. "Y-Your mother,she is trying to kill my children? And you are trying to protect them?"

Meanwhile, in Jimin's room,the seven boys were eavesdropping the conversation hoping Taehyung's phone won't burst out with notifications.

"So,she is really her mother?" Namjoon asked sitting next to Jimin.

"Shh" Everyone shushed him wanting to hear the rest.

"Mr.Kim,I will tell you everything. But,"she paused for a moment. "You have a story to tell me too. Right?"

"Huh?" Wonbin was taken back. Indeed,he had a lot to tell her. There are so many things he wished he could say but he couldn't. Simply because it doesn't matter now. Saying anything won't change what happened.

"Almost 28 years ago,what happened?Why did you leave us so suddenly?"

Wonbin looked down. He brought his palms to his face and sighed into his palms.

"Does it matter now?"He slowly mumbled. He couldn't hear anything from her for few seconds but she somehow spoke.

"Yes"

With a sigh,he looked at her again."Fine"........"I,,I really loved your mother. Trust me I did. And when you were born,it was the best gift we ever had"

Flashback

"How should we name her?" Lang Qing asked excitedly.

Wonbin smiled looking his daughter who was snuggling into his chest. He looked at his girlfriend who was laying on the hospital bed.

"Let's give her a Chinese name since her mother is Chinese"

"No,let's give her a Korean name"

"No honey, she looks just like you. So Chinese yeah?"

"Exactly, she looks like me. But you are Korean. So to prove that her father is a Korean man, let's give her a Korean name"

Wonbin sighed with a chuckle."This won't do. Then let's give her a Japanese name. How about that?"

Lang Qing thought for a while before nodding. "Good idea. So what should we name her?"

"Mmmm,I've read this Japanese manga and there was a red eyed beauty. Her name was Igarashi. Let's name her Igarashi. Kim Igarashi?"

Lang Qing smiled widely nodding her head.

"Igarashi, do you like that name baby?" Wonbin asked from her clueless daughter only to get incoherent sounds from the infant. He chuckled softly. "She likes it"

End of the flashback

"I took you two to Korea to introduce my family so we could get married. But," ......"My father didn't like it." He had already arranged a marriage for me. And I was named as his next heir. I-I tried to refuse. But he didn't listen. He even believed that stupid myth about red eyes. He wanted me to leave you two. So,I decided to run away with you two" he looked at Igarashi to see her reaction. She was calm. Had no emotion just like always.

"But before that,I heard my father talking someone from the phone. He was ordering someone to kill you and her. He didn't want you to come back in the future asking for your rights. He didn't want to risk anything. Somehow he saw me eavesdropping him"

Flashback

"If you want them alive,then leave them and marry the girl I choose!"

Wonbin shook his head." How could you do this to me?! She has my child! Don't you have any sympathy to threaten your own son with his child?!"

Kim Jin Mo smirked. "You should be grateful to me for giving everything. And let's say that I didn't threat you. Then do you think their lives still be safe?"

"What do you mean?"

"You got two more siblings. They are more than willing to take your position. They are already in their own worlds planning how to steal your position. And that little thing you brought, did you think how much of a threat she is to them? Another competitor for the company"

Wonbin couldn't breath anymore. He regretted bringing Igarashi and Lang Qing to Korea. He regretted everything. He put his child and love into a huge danger.

"You got no power at this moment. What can you do to save them? Nothing?you can't even run away. I can track you down easily. You can't hide from me. The only thing you can do to save them is,leaving them. And I will take my eyes away from them"

Wonbin clenched his fists and jaws painfully. His whole body was trembling. Tears of agony rolled down ever so slowly torturing his soul. I need power. To protect my loved ones. I'm sorry. Just bear this pain,I will come back after gaining the required power to protect you two.

End of the flashback

"I couldn't say the truth to your mother. It might have risked my plans. So,I asked her to leave. She left with you"

"Then I married the girl my father asked. To gain power. My initial plan was to divorce her after everything but,it turned out she was innocent. She wasn't a part of my father's plan. She had already started loving me. After few years,I got my position as the CEO. I tried to search for you two but--"

"You lost our tracks?" Igarashi cut him down.

Wonbin nodded." I tried everything but still you two were nowhere. Then suddenly, my father gave me a news saying lang Qing had married another man"

Igarashi widened her eyes a bit.

"So,I-- I didn't want to disturb you two. All I gave you two was pain. So,I decided to move on. My wife loved me a lot. Finally I decided to give her what she deserves. I accepted her. And Jin was born few years later. I didn't want him to unprotected like me. I was always disliked because I was only a son from another woman my father hooked up with. That's why my siblings hate me. I had no one. So I decided to give my Jin a lot of siblings. So,one day when he is in danger,he will have his siblings by his side"

Jin,who was listening to the whole conversation with his brothers,silently sobbed. He was about to wipe his tear but Hoseok had already wiped it away. He smiled softly.

"But then I had to be the worst father ever by forcing them to study business. I had no choice. They have to gain power to survive in this cruel family. If they were to go in several paths,they all will be unsafe. They have to gain power in the company so no one will touch them. For that,I had to force them. I had to snatch away their dreams. They hate me now--"

"They love you" Igarashi cut him off. She looked away." They are not like your toxic family"....." So pure. Childish. Lovable. They don't even know how to hate anyone.All they know is messing around like idiots"

Wonbin smiled looking at the small family frame on his table. A silent tear left from his eye.

"Just,let them do whatever they want"

Wonbin looked at her with wide eyes."But--"

"I will keep them safe"

The seven silly boys smiled widely. For the first time,they were feeling so light hearted. They found a roof which give protection for them.

Jungkook even fell out from the bed because of the euphoria he is feeling. He just laid there staring at the ceiling with a wide smile. "Noona did it"

They heard their father's voice again.

"Are you sure--"

"Didn't I already prove? " Igarashi again cut him off. " I can protect them"

Wonbin was still unsure.

"But you don't about my father. He is not what you think--"

Igarashi scoffed. "I know him better than you Mr.Kim. That old man is a fucked up business. He and his lousy mafia business"

Wonbin widened his eyes. He couldn't belive that she knew it. But how. "You knew it?"

Igarashi played with her own black hair. "Everything is happening because of him"

"What do you mean?"

"Before that,tell me what happened to your wife?"

Wonbin took a sharp breath remembering the past." She got into an accident few years ago. She couldn't make it and,," he didn't need to finish. Igarashi could understand.

She nodded slowly.

"Now tell me. What happened to you and your mother? Why did you suddenly come back here? And what is your connection with my father?"

Igarashi took the new crystal ball on table to her hand. She remembered shattering the old one by her few months ago when she just arrived. Playing with it,she spoke.

"What happened to us? Your father is responsible for everything which happened to us"...."Your father didn't stop chasing us even after we left. He again and again tried to kill us. We had no choice but to move away from house to house to save ourselves. That's why you couldn't find us"

"What?! But--"

"Did you think your father really knows how to keep promises?no. He didn't want me to live. He wanted to kill me. So my mom had no choice but to run away. She couldn't have a proper job for a long time because of our situation.She suffered a lot. She did many jobs to earn something to feed me and give me a school education. Working in restaurants, working as servants, polishing shoes,painting, there was nothing she didn't do except selling her body"

Wonbin couldn't believe anything. Did they really go through such a torturous life? Oh but it was only a small part he heard from their lives.

"She worked as a waitress in a club at night. But one day,she got raped by one of the customers"

Wonbin sucked his breath. He felt a lump forming in his throat. He couldn't even believe how calm Igarashi is while telling him everything.

"I was only 10. I saw her crying silently in her room. She barely had cloths. Bruises in her body. She looked pathetic. She couldn't even die because of me. She still had to go to the club to earn something. Her smile was already fading away. She didn't give me the smile she used to give me. She was drained out. She just earned money like a mad woman. And,I think she got used to being used as a toy. She started to sell her body"

Wonbin felt his heart aching badly.

Flashback

Igarashi finally stood up after getting beat up by her mother. Her mother was stressed and drunk. She just needed something to let out her frustration. And Igarashi was the victim. Igarashi willingly let her mother beat her.

She took her school bag on the floor and limped out from her house with a busted lip.

As she went out,she could feel all eyes on her. Some people pitied her. Some people mocked her. But she didn't give two shits. She just walked to her school.

She could feel tiny steps following her. Like everyday,a small boy from her home town followed her to the school. It's like he was waiting for her to come out from home.

She walked like she knew nothing.

.
.

Again,she was bullied. She was bathed in water and trash in the middle of the classroom. Having the rare red eyes did nothing good.

"Cursed bitch"

She couldn't even cry. Simply she didn't feel like crying. No one really tried to hit her because of the curse. They did everything without touching her.

She looked at the person who poured her water. She used her dangerous eyes to glare. Just wanted to scare to feel happy for a minute. As she expected, the boy ran away with just one glare from her.

She left the class not wanting to stay.

Sitting under a tree,she decided to sleep.

But soon she got disturbed when she felt someone wiping her face. Opening her eyes,she found that adorable little boy who was cleaning her.

He flinched a bit but quickly smiled.

"Yibo! It's time for your class!come here!"

Someone shouted from afar. The boy nodded and looked at Igarashi one more time before giving her the handkerchief.
Without saying anything, the little boy ran away.

End of the flashback.

"Mother's mental state was not good. She was having a hard time with loans,bills,and my school fees. But one day,your father found us"
