"Loving you is a losing game"

"It was you"

Igarashi heaved a soft sigh. She gazed at his desperate eyes.

"I told you to forget" she simply mumbled admitting it was her.

He smiled widely. Few tears moistured his eyes. He had met her before. She was their saviour. She has been protecting them since  a long time ago.

She gasped softly when he pulled her to a bone crushing hug.

At first,he thought she wouldn't admit but she proved him wrong. She never lies to them. She would always keep quiet if she doesn't want to say the truth. Apart from that,she never lies to them.

"N-Noona" he cried burying his face on her neck." Why didn't you tell us? Why did you hide it?! Y-You,you are our saviour " his voice was shaky and trembling. His deep voice was breaking and it was painful to hear.

She softly patted his back in a soothing way." You never asked"

Taehyung hugged her tightly. "I thought I would never see you again" he whispered while hicupping in between his sentence.

She smiled softly. As if she didn't think like that. She had determined not to approach them ever again but here she is,already in their arms. Loving them was definitely a losing game.

"You recognised me?"

Taehyung nodded still not letting her go. "Yes, I never forgot your eyes. When I saw you for the first time,that night came to my mind. But I wasn't sure. However when you call us 'little bastards' ,I knew it was you. Also,your facial features matches well with our saviour"

"What about other two?"

Taehyung slowly parted away." They don't remember. It was a traumatic incident. So,we were confronted to a psychologist and he helped us to forget the incident through therapies. But,I-I couldn't really forget. It-It appears in my dreams and I-I,"

He stopped when her palm touched his cheek.

"You have been living in the nightmare all this time" She softly muttered. Even though her face held no expression, her voice was laced with concern.

Taehyung looked down.

"Why? It is painful"

Taehyung looked up at her and smiled."It was painful but atlast it worths. I recognised you. And strangely, it is not a nightmare for me now. You are there. I'm not scared"

Igarashi took her hand away. She messed his hair."Little stupid kid, I won't be there all the time. You have to save your self at a time like that"

He whined shaking his body like a kid who didn't get his favourite candy."No~I'm not that strong. I need noona to be with me all the time. I will be waiting till you come" he smiled cheekily.

Igarashi sighed nodding her head softly. If he wants her to come,then she will come. She doesn't know why she always give in infront of these silly boys. She is spoiling them so much."Don't tell other two. Let them forget about that traumatic incident"

She walked out with Taehyung tagging along with her like a tail.

She saw Yibo having a dance battle with Hoseok. Both of them clicked well.

"Go and enjoy" she said to Taehyung.

He did a little salute and ran off to watch the dance battle.

Meanwhile, Igarashi walked towards Dongwook who has been cheering for Yibo and Hoseok. She pulled him by his shirt and dragged him away.

"Hey!"

"Come with me"

Dongwook nodded becoming all serious and followed her. He put his hands inside his pant pockets and followed her silently inside the mansion.

She turned to him when they were inside her room.

"I have to go back" was the first thing she uttered.

"Where?" He was a bit confused.

"To China. Wu Yifan demanded my arrival"

And now,Dongwook was in panick mode. He knew that one day the emperor will ask their arrival due to the mess they have been creating. But,he didn't expect it to be this soon.

"Why?"

"You don't have to worry. You won't be going there. It's only me"

And now he is freaking out. Letting her go alone there?! That's a big no. He won't let her go alone at any cost.

"What?!! No fucking way you are going there alone!! Why is he asking only for you?!"

Igarashi knew that he won't like the idea.

"He got to know about the incident 13 years ago"

Dongwook sighed rubbing his temples feeling distressed. He expected this too the moment Igarashi revealed about her family to the world.

"Then why it is only you? I was there too. It was us. Don't tell me you-- You did it again!! You took the blame by yourself?!" He was outrageous. He hated it when she takes the blame by herself. She didn't know how much he suffers whenever she takes the punishment alone. It fucking kills him from inside.

"I was responsible for the whole incident. You were never in my plan--"

"BUT I WAS THERE!" He shouted in fury.

"You have to understand this. He will never kill me. But you, he won't hesitate to kill you"

Dongwook was stuck for a moment. She is right. But still,she will be suffering alone.

"I can handle this. I'm used to it"

'Used to' is a dangerous thing. Getting used to such extreme pain is toxic.

Dongwook was ready to give up his life for his best friend. She has been sacrificing herself in all her life to protect him whenever he got into a mess. And that was why he became her bodyguard. He is not working for money. He doesn't give a damn about money. It's all about friendship. You should never underestimate the love of a friend. That's pure as much as the love of your lover. You can never chose one between love and friendship if you ever have something like that.

Dongwook sat down on her bed."You never listen"

Igarashi, "I need you to do something"

He looked up."What?"

"I don't know when will I be able to come back again. It might take few months. Stay in here and take care of them"

Dongwook sighed heavily. He nodded looking down in defeat."What about Yibo?"

Igarashi paused. Yibo won't stay in Korea without her. He will follow her wherever she goes.

"Keep him here. Tell him and kids that I went on a business trip. Also the company,"....."Kaizhong will take care of it" the boy who helped her to find Yibo, one of the trusted men she never hesitate to hand over her company.

Dongwook stood up and faced her. He placed his hand on her shoulder. "Come back quickly"

"Mn"

"Pray that your little devils will keep me alive when you come back"

She rolled her eyes.

"When will you leave?"

"Now"

"Wait--what?! You kidding me?!"

Igarashi shrugged her shoulders lazily."Better go now if I need to come back quickly. Prepare my private jet. I'm leaving. Don't tell boys until I left. Specially Yibo"

He nodded.

"Your bags--"

"I won't need anything anyways"

Dongwook looked down feeling guilty. Prisoners don't need fancy cloths.
