The very next morning, Tyler woke up feeling regret. He had never felt so remorseful in his life.

After finding out about what happened to his stepmother, it hurt his emotions deeply, and it made him realize he was in the wrong the whole time.

There was no reason for him to hate Jenna just because she wasn't his real mother. She was only trying to love him as if she was his mother.

He needed to make peace with her because it was too late.

After his maid helped him get dressed, he was escorted into Jenna's quarters.

When he arrived, Jenna smiled.

"Hello my stepson." She said.

She dismissed his maid. She even saw how nervous Tyler was.

"You can come in my sweet."

Tyler stepped closer to his stepmother.

"You wanted to see me?" She asked.

"Jenna, I just want to tell you that I love you and I have nothing against you. It's just that I've never known my real mother and I didn't know if I could fully trust you, but now I do. I'm sorry for being a ruthless little boy and not obeying you properly, and I will do my duty as your stepson and obey your every command."

When she heard his testimony, she smiled and clapped.

"My sweet little boy, you don't need to apologize, I can understand how you are."

"Y-You forgive me?"

"Of course I do."

Tyler chuckled.

"Oh, okay."

"Run along now child. I need some time to rest."

Tyler left Jenna's quarters and headed straight back into his own.

However, when he arrived, he saw Dr. Artrip on the ground kneeling and holding a ring in his hand.

"Dr. Atrip? What are you doing?"

"Tyler Joseph, will you marry me?"

Tyler giggled.

"Of course I will!"

Dr. Artrip slipped the ring onto his finger and picked the boy up in his arms; embracing him.

"You and I are gonna have a wonderful life together, I'm so glad you said yes."

"So have I." Tyler said. "I need to let my father know about it. I'm not sure if he'll approve."

"He might, go ask him."

Tyler ran out of his quarters to go find his father, but when he did, Jenna's brother Brennan appeared.

"Tyler Joseph, what are you doing out of your quarters?"

"I'm going to look for my father. Dr. Artrip and I are going to get married."

"Allow me to escort you to your father."

"Do you know where he is?"

"He is out hunting, we can go there together."

"Okay."

Brennan took Tyler outside of the house to go into the woods to find Tyler's father. They stopped walking when they got to the edge of the woods.

"Wait for a second." He told him. "I need to gather a few supplies."

"Why need them?" Tyler asked.

"You never know what's in these woods."

Tyler nodded.

"Okay."

Brennan walked off to go find what he needed. Just as he saw Tyler turn his back, he pulled out his knife and walked up behind him; preparing to kill him.

However, Tyler turned back around and saw Brennan aiming the knife at him. He knew he was going to kill him.

But he ran away.
