Back in the woods, Tyler sits along the riverbank with Josh while he collects more ravens. He was still a bit shaken up after what happened.

Josh promised to stay with Tyler and protect him. The more closer he got, he started to feel affection for him, though he was a bit afraid to tell him.

As Tyler was collecting, Josh looked upon him, seeing how the ravens admired his beauty.
He noticed how sorrowful he was as he collected each raven.

"You seem sad."

"I'm not." Tyler said.

"Then why do you look like that."

"Why ask? You don't trust me."

"Of course I trust you. I would never hurt you. I told you I would protect you."

Tyler stopped collecting and dropped the ravens on the ground. He looked down and closed his eyes, feeling the warm breeze flow through his body.

"I'm scared. Jenna already knows where I am and she could try to kill me again."

"I won't let that happen. I promise."

"I know, but even if you aren't here, I just want to protect myself."

Josh realized an idea for Tyler.

"Then maybe there is something I can give you."

Josh took his hand and led him back into the brick wall. He took him into his chambers.

Once there, he went over to his drawer and got out a something.

"What is that?" Tyler asked.

"It's a dagger." Josh replied. "It's what you can use to protect yourself."

He placed the dagger in his hand.

"Whenever you're alone and I'm not there to save you, use this, it will save your life."

Tyler looked up to Josh.

"Teach me how to use it."

Josh behind Tyler and placed his hands around him.

"If they ever get anywhere near you, hold them back with your arm, then stab them directly into the chest. One stab to the heart will kill them instantly."

Tyler placed the dagger on his belt.

"Thank you Josh, I'm glad you showed me something I can do now. I'm proud to be goth."

"You like being a goth?"

"Yes, everything about it is better than being the son of a wealthy father who doesn't understand who his wife really is."

"Is that so?"

Tyler nodded.

"Well, you don't have to worry about that anymore. You're with us now."

Josh took Tyler back outside to collect the ravens.

"Go on child, let's bring the ravens back inside."

Tyler bent down and picked up the ravens and handed them to Josh.

"They're for you."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I want you to have them."

"Aw, thanks Tyler."

Josh kissed him on the forehead and headed back to the brick wall.

Tyler placed his hand over his cheek; shocked at what just happened.

He began to ponder over if Josh had any real feelings for him.
