Eira was running like she could break gravity, Grimhilde's henchmen were chasing after her for Grimhilde to kill her.

"Come back here!"
"Never!, you're going to have to catch me yourselves you cowards!"

Probably wasn't the best thing for Eira to say to Grimhilde's henchmen but she was so convinced that she was going to die that she just wanted to call them out before they killed her.

Eira found what looked like an abandoned little cottage deep within the woods, and she had lost Grimhilde's henchmen a while back, so she went inside the little cottage to make sure that nobody could find her.
