The autumn leaves continued to fall as Namjoon continued his journey to find Hoseok but what he didn't know was that he was being watched. The carriage he was in was gilded with shinning details that attracted the robbers which dwelled in these woods and they were sure something   precious in the lovely carriage.

Before Namjoon knew what was happening , the carriage was waylaid by the gang. The horses were spooked and ran off after a member of the gang cut their reins. The servants and coachman were captured by the gang and they overturned the carriage causing Namjoon to fall out. Namjoon felt a strong hand holding his legs before he could make a run for it.

'' Well well, what do we have here?'' said the thief ,grabbing both of Namjoon's legs before he could resist. 

Namjoon was too terrified to do anything as he was dragged of towards the lion's den. He was so frightened that he didn't even get a good look at the thieves who'd surely torture him and subject him to a horrible fate.......

'' Let him go'' a  voice echoed.

  All the robbers turned around to face a boy who looked no older then eighteen. His eyes were  doe like and had a dark brown color and his hair were a messy jet black. He looked innocent and cute but the glare he was giving the robbers told something completely else . The robbers were staring down the boy but his glare never wavered.

'' And why should we?'' asked one of the thieves.

'' Leave him to me'' said the doe eyed boy with determination.

'' Fine but he's YOUR problem now'' said the thief who was holding Namjoon and literally threw him down before the boy who Namjoon wasn't sure if he could call his savior or not.  

''T-thank you'' whispered Namjoon.

'' Don't talk to me'' The boy brushed him off.'' You belong to ME now''

Namjoon was shocked at the boy's cold words, never thinking he could be so harsh but there was nothing he could do about it.

While she was taken to heir lair, the new prisoner took a good look at her captors.

One of them, which he assumed was named Seonghwa had a happy cheerful sort of aura as he talked to another person whose name ,Namjoon had heard was Taehyun, who looked mildly annoyed. Another boy with a cute face watched with an amused smile as two others fought among each other. The cute boy was called Minho while the two fighting were Jisung and Hyunjin. One boy named Jongho was humming to himself as he broke apples into two with his bare hands and passed them to other members. 

The only female member a girl with platinum blonde hair named Lisa was talking to two boys  named Jackson and Mark respectively.  Another boy named Kai watched with lazy eyes as a  guy name Dino had a hand wrestling match with Sang-hyuk Hyuk while a boy who called himself G-Dragon cheered them on.

 To Namjoon all of them looked like a happy family enjoying a good time together if he didn't add the fact that they had just attacked him.  All of them despite their scars and injuries were very handsome and cute. Namjoon couldn't imagine what could lead them down this crooked path.  

Inside the fortress the thieves sat around the fire and feasted upon the spoils why Namjoon was stuck in the far end of the room with a few scraps to feed on.

'' My name is Namjoon..'' said Namjoon trying to befriend the boy who had saved him but he only responded with a 'hmph' .

'' Hey '' asked Minho.'' What are you gonna do with him?''

'' None of your business'' The boy scoffed but Minho only smiled in a bemused manner and started to talk with Dino.

Namjoon remained silent not wanting to get on the boys bad side. He knew that the boy was not to be messed with and you couldn't blame him.

''Jungkook''

'' What....?

''That's my name, Iam giving you my name because you gave me yours.Don't think iam trying to be friends with you or anything your still my prisoner'' said Jungkook.

''I have a question'' said Namjoon.

'' What?''

'' Why did you let me go?'' asked Namjoon.

''I-I thought it would be nice to have s-some more company '' said Jungkook in shy embarrassed sort of way .

Namjoon could tell that despite his young age , Jungkook's heart had already hardened by the difficult life of a thief. He sneered whenever Namjoon talked about the comforts he left behind to find Hoseok and even then, he scoffed when he told him about his recent adventure where he fell in love with Jin.

'' Come with me''Jungkook soon got up,beckoning Namjoon to follow him,''I'll show you where you'll be staying''

The boy took him to a rickety stable behind the hideout and led him inside.

'' You can sleep over there'' he pointed at an isolated hay loft in a corner.'' I own a bunch of animals so they can keep you company if you want''

The boy didn't even wait for a response and slammed the door shut behind Namjoon.

While the robbers celebrated their heist ,Namjoon frightened. He wanted to escape but if he got caught he would be punished in ways he wouldn't even dare to imagine but he couldn't keep his mind of Hoseok.

''Oh Hoseok'' Namjoon murmured. He had traveled so far away from his village but still had no clue his brother was.

'' We've seen Hoseok'' A pigeon in a cage chirped. '' He was taken north from here.''

  '' Really'' said Namjoon.'' Do you know how he looks like?''

''We saw a boy on a flying sleigh, he had mahogany hair ,dark green eyes and a small scar on his right eyebrow , he was in the arms of the Snow Prince'' said another pigeon in the same cage. 

'' THAT'S HOSEOK'' said Namjoon.'' How do you know it was Hoseok, though?''

'' We're friends with the falcon, we meet whenever Jungkook let's us out'' said the Pigeon. 

'' Yes ,he told us about you ,you're Namjoon, Hoseok's best friend who is looking for him''chirped the other pigeon bobbing it's head. 

'' I could take you there'' offered the reindeer in the stable.'' The north is my home and I still remember everything about it from the pure white snow to the colorful lights that dance in the sky with the stars''

'' What about the Snow Prince? Have you seen him?'' asked Namjoon.

'' I saw him ridding his sleigh once'' said the reindeer. ''Just as your human tales describe he is beautiful yet cold but he doesn't discern between evil and good. Every year he spreads winter chills upon the earth and claims the lives of those foolhardy enough to stray in the cold when he's out. Perhaps Hoseok had done the same thing that's why he was with Yoongi''  

Namjoon wanted to talk more to the animals but the front door opened and they ran back to their proper places.

Namjoon was relived to see it was just Jungkook and not someone else. The boy didn't talk to his captive and jumped onto a simple mattress that was his makeshift bed but kept a small knife in his hands.

 '' Do you always sleep with the knife in your hand?'' Namjoon's curiosity got the best of him.

'' Ask again and it will be the last question you ever ask'' growled the boy as he curled in to the plain covers.

Although he was asleep, Namjoon made no sound,not wanting arose Jungkook's temper,trying to sleep on the scratchy hay.

'' Well this is at least better then sleeping on the floor'' he told himself trying to remain optimistic in such a bleak scenario before drifting off to a dreamless sleep.

                                                             --------------------------------------------------------

''GET UP''

A voice echoed in the darkness. The voice that of a young adult but it also had a the sternness of a person who had seen the harsh side of reality.

Namjoon groggily awoken with hay sticking in his unkempt hair. He greeted Jungkook who looked at him with slight annoyance. 

'' You're comming with me ''

Namjoon had no choice but to follow the boy into the fortress. Inside the thieves were huddled around the fire, planning their next scheme.

  '' Why do you live with robber?Don't you have a family?'' asked Namjoon.

Jungkook's doe eyes fogged over as if  remembering a very old memory

'' I don't have a family......at least not anymore...My parents died when I was very young and I was an orphan till the robbers took me in. They taught me how to hunt and survive in this world, in a way I owe them my life';

Namjoon understood and felt a little bad for the boy. His parents had been taken away for him too soon as well but unlike him and Hoseok ,Jungkook had nowhere to go and ended up with him being taken in by a bunch of robbers ,at least he learned their way of life.

''Now let me ask you some questions'' said Jungkook almost all of a sudden.

Namjoon didn't answer and let the boy continue. 

'' If this brother of yours change so much ,why are you still looking for him? He treated you like dirt ,didn't he? If I were you, I'd forget him.

'' He's still my best friend and brother, no matter what,'' answered Namjoon,''And he wasn't always like that, he was very sweet and kind hearted and I know it's still somewhere deep inside of him''

Jungkook gave him a quizzical look before leading him back to the stables.

'' You're older then me and you still cling on to hope, I remember when I was like you. But that not who iam anymore and you're not someone like me. You don't belong here''

The hostage didn't know how to respond to this statement but couldn't hide his shock when the Jungkook freed the reindeer and offered it to him.  

''W-what are you doing !?'' said Namjoon shocked.

''Take him,he'll take you north'' said Jungkook.

'' But why are you doing this? You could get into trouble''

That's my problem not yours'' 

''Can you give me a reason why?''

The boy paused for a moment before expressing his true feelings to Namjoon.

''I guess...Iam kinda envious'' Jungkook confessed,'' You still have a person you consider family while iam a lonely orphan getting around by stealing. You've come a long way in your journey and I wouldn't want to end up like me . You have a person to save and me,iam just a thief  scrapping just enough to survive''.

'' Why don't you come with me? We can find you a good family to live with or you can live with me and Hoseok at grandma's ,she's really nice ,she won't mind you living with us''

''Iam fine right here,It'll be nice to have an actual home and family but I prefer it here . I like to have more freedom in my life''.

The boy took Namjoon and the gentle beast away from the stables and the thieves.

'' The reindeer knows everything about north, probably more then us and you need him ore then I do'' said Jungkook.

 ''Thank you'' said Namjoon as he got on the reindeer.

Namjoon could've sworn he saw a smile on the boys hardened face.

''Yeah ,yeah now go.....Good Luck'' said Jungkook.

Namjoon thanked him again as he ushered the reindeer to move which started to trot towards the forest . And now he had set off on the next leg of his journey to save his best friend.

''Wait for me, Iam gonna save you no matter what ....Hoseok''

Authors note:- Hello lovely reader ,you have noticed that I have used the name of many idols here as the thief  gang but Iam not trying to insult them or something ,they are all favorite members of my favorite bands and I couldn't help adding them in and you may have already noticed how I have added Jisoo and Suho in my previous chapters as well. Iam sorry if i have offended someone by doing this .
