I hope you enjoyed Snow Mountain. It was based on an idea I've had for a while to write a romance based on Greek mythology, but using mythological figures that aren't as well known.

Can you figure out which Greek mythological figures Fyar and his parents are based on? Applause if you do!

As for Jalintu and her tribesmen, they are loosely based on the Celtic tribes that controlled much of central Europe during the time period (300 BC). Jalintu is not based on any particular historical figure, but her brother (in the next book) is!

And yes I have a second book planned! It will probably not get written for a while, as I would like to rewrite Snow Mountain as a novel first. I really had to rush to finish for the deadline, and keeping it in the word limit for the ONC forced me to omit a lot of things relevant to the second book. So that would need to happen first.

My other goal for this book was to practice writing in present and past tenses. (Jalintu's POV is present tense while Fyar's is past). The hardest thing was to swap back and forth, and I know I got confused a couple of times. So that is something I'd like to change in the rewrite, to make it all one tense. Not sure which tense yet though. Which one did you like better?
