Chapter 9: Killer Knight
Yukiko's POV
Suddenly the roof busts open and in comes the pro hero's Deku, Shoto, Uravity, Suneater and Ground Zero. Kingston falls back a few feet startled as his eyes meet his fathers.
Uncle Katsuki's eyes widen but he pushes it down as he marches forward. The villains in front of us take one look at the angry Ground Zero and decide to flee. That would be all except Kingston.
"Yukiko!" My father Shoto shouts as he helps me to my feet and wiped away the blood. I had been so blinded by the fighting that I hadn't noticed the blood rushing down my face.
Ground Zero had reached Kingston's line of fire but the young blonde didn't dare attack. Before any of us could object Ground Zero had enveloped Kingston into a hug.
Kingston pushes him away and the heartbreak in my uncles eyes was unmissable. But Kingston's eyes had changed to. He was looking at Azura with love.
"Azura leave this place!" He shouted as the building suddenly started to shake. Kingston smirked, he had just been a distraction.
Uravity marched up to Kingston and before he could attack she punched him dead in the nose. Kingston doubles over in pain but floats before he hits the ground. Azura creates chains and wraps him in them.
As soon as he was secure Uravity made us all float as we escaped through a hole in the celling. Kingston fought against the restraints but Ground Zero kept a tight hold on him.
Next to me Suneater was crying while holding my beautiful Akio. Her burns weren't as bad had they had seemed.
I started to think and came to the conclusion that there was only one way. Kingston has healed her with a healer type ability. That's the moment when I became determined to not let Kingston go after what he had done. He was still in there somewhere.
*Later sat UA*
After Recovery Girl had healed all of us we returned to our dorms. Well most of us.
I was curled up in bed with Akio in my arms. She was shaken up after the whole incident. Which sadly was normal for her. Not the whole injury thing though.
Akio looked up at me with those piercing blue eyes that always got my attention. She was biting her lip.
"Yukiko." She said quietly.
"Yes Akio?" I responded with a sly smirk.
"W-would you want to go to Prom with me? I-it's next week...." Akio asked as she shrunk back under the sheets.
I smiled and planted a kiss on her puffy pink lips. I could tell she was still waiting for a response so I pulled back and ran my hands through her short hair.
"Of course sunshine." I said as Akio let out a sigh of relief.
This will be fun I thought as I let sleep take over.
