Natsu's POV

I stared up at the felling in my dorm room. It was dark but I could just barley make out the photo that I had stuck to my calling. It was a photo from when we were all kids. Umeko has her arms around me as I carried her with Akio barley visible behind Yukiko to our left. As well as Kingston and Azura laughing to our right. It was a lot in one picture.

I sighed as I closed my eyes. I wish I could just tell her how I felt but what if I just lost her too. Deep down I knew that wouldn't happen but still fear bubbles in my chest.

Three soft knocks at my door told me more than enough as I jumped up and ran to the door. I stood there silent for a moment to calm down. When I finally opened the door I found something I wished I'd never had to see.

Umeko collapses in my arms as blood pool down her thighs. She'd been hit a blade of some kind.

"Nat....su..." she whimpered our as I hoisted her into my arms and ran as fast as I could to the nure's office. Recovery girl had since retired but her two daughters with identical quirks had taken up her position.

"Who did this to you!" I shouted as I ran with the frail girl in my arms.

"King....ston..."

And with that my entire world fell apart.....

*The next morning* (Still Natsu's point of view)

Uravity and Froppy stood in the middle of the nurse's office. None of us could hear what was being said through the thick glass doors.

Yukiko, Akio, Dice, Kyoto, Azura and some weird purple haired girl sat behind me on a bench. Akio was crying into Yukiko's shoulder as her and Azura tried to comfort her. The purple haired girl patted Akio's back and that's when I noticed her necklace with the name "Sumire" engraved in it.

So one mystery solved about ten to go such as who stabbed Umeko, is Umeko going to be okay, did they steal her quirk, are they coming back....was it Kingston?

I stopped my pacing for a second to stare into the nurses office. 'Was it really him?' wasn't the only thought in my head.

We never really mention it much but the angry alpha pheromones coming off me finally clicked to my attention. That's why Akio was crying and why Yukiko was growling.

I was so worried about Umeko that I let myself get carried away. I sighed and faced the girls with an apologetic smile.

Just by the smells I even though I mostly already knew could tell who was what. Yukiko was an alpha, Akio was an omega, Sumire was a beta, Azura was an omega, Dice was a beta and Kyoto was an alpha. Having three emotional alphas in one room was never a good idea but Kyoto seemed to be keeping his head unlike me and Yukiko.

"Calm down Natsu, there's nothing to stress over, the nurses are doing all they can." Said Kyoto with a calm but steady gaze.

He wore a mask that only covered half his face. His blue eyes still were visible. Usually I would have lost it but the opening of the nurses door stoped me from saying anything.

Uravity and Froppy stood before us in tears, Yukiko's father,pro hero Deku, was not far behind them.

"She's going to be okay but it seems she has lost part of her quirk, she is still able to become weightless but her frog like abilities are complete gone." Deku said as he patted the girls one the backs. They both headed for the stairs as the others behind me stood up.

"C-Can we see her?" Asked Akio. This was the first time many of the people in the room had heard her speak.

The nurses tried to not seem shocked and nodded as we all shuffled in. omega distress could be smelt profusely in the room.

My eyes widened as I ran to Umeko. She smiled as me with tears rolling down her face. I knelt beside her as the others watched us.

"Did you hear? They took away half my quirk....why not just take it all huh?" She said as tears streamed down her face.

I wiped away her tears with my thumb as I took her hand. Yukiko snickered begins us as I swiftly kicked her feet out from under her without so much as a second of hesitation.

Akio caught her and directed the others to follow them in leaving the room. I knew it was selfish of me to steal this precious time with her but I just had to after what she had said.

"It's okay, it's just a bit of a change." I siad calmly as I pulled a chair over and sat in it. My hand never left Umekos. She sighed and stared into my eyes.

"I know why you came....it's so you can ask about Kingston.......not like you'd actually care about me." She muttered the last part but sadly I heard her.

My heart sank, I'd been so focused on Kingston for years that I'd never noticed how Umeko felt. I could tell now I'd done something terribly wrong by abandoning my best friend and love of my life like that.

A blush creeped onto my face as I cleared my throat. "T-that's not entirely the reason." I mumbled.

Umeko stared at me in shock. She giggled with a huge smile stretching over her face.

"I love you too you dork." She said as she sat up and pressed a gentle kiss to my lips. I never wanted it to stop but she pulled away.

"Now.....we need to talk about Kingston.......he's changed Natsu he's....."

"He's got a quirk."
