Another year and another round of Skye tries to rewrite an entire book in November.

This year I've got my claws dug into Snow Bites, a novella I wrote for ONC in 2023. Eirwen and Heldie made it to the shortlist with me barely scraping the minimum requirement of 20K words.

The last few months I've been combing though it with plenty of help to write the new and improved outline. The projected word count is now nearly triple the original and my brain hasn't fully wrapped around it yet. When I tell you I've never outlined this intensely, I know things about the characters that didn't exist in the first draft. Ryker, my boy, sweet boy. Sorry.

Update schedule: Let's try Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I predict remembering to do that for at least two weeks and then losing the plot completely.

Obviously it's the first day of DANMvember (DANMvember is our alternative option to NaNo after their shenanigan, you can find us on Instagram under dreamanovelmonth) so I have no update this week unless by some miracle I churn one out. We'll see.
