Yuki's POV

It came again, the pain. I clutched my neck hard, as soon as I did Sasuke did too. I glanced at the Sound ninja, they all smirked. Getting on my nerves.

''Why don't you stop smirking and fucking help us.'' I growled at them, the one that had two heads chuckled, I glared at him and he shut up.

''Just tell us how to start the next stage, and stop wasting our time.'' Sasuke hissed at them, I grunted and then straightened my back, still holding my neck.

''In exchange for the curse mark you must swear your aligence to Lord Orochimaru, by severing your ties to this village, there will be no end to the  power you will weild. Do you accept?'' Some girl with red hair asked us, Without a second thought Sasuke answered.

''I accept.'' Then they looked at me.

I thought for a moment;

Is this all worth it? Will I really get powerful enough to be able to kill anyone who gets in my way of helping Sasuke?

Yes. It is.

''I... accept.'' I nodded.

''Good. But before we go any further I'm afraid you must die just this once.'' The 2 headed guy said.

''We must die, once?'' Sasuke asked. Huh? I don't get it. He started chuckling.

''You must take one of these... Awakening pills.''

''Whats it for? Awakening from what?'' I said in a no-emotion voice.

''That curse mark on your shoulders are only a first state curse mark, but the pills will stimulate and magnify its power making it a state 2.'' The girl said.

''But to do that it brings your body pain, we must give your body time, 2 hours at least. After that, once the transition is complete, your power may even be equal to ours. But,'' I narrowed my eyes at him, there is always a 'but'. ''Even with all these preperations, you still have to die.''

Creepy much...?

''So I'm dead, and then?'' Sasuke stated.

''Don't worry, thats why we're here, we will cast a barrier ninjutsu to lessen the effects, instead of completly dying, you will be sent to a state of half-dead for a while.'' I raised an eyebrow.

''And we're supposed to trust you guys to instead of dying, keeping us half-dead? How are we meant to trust you?'' I said, will they keep us dead or something?

''Sasuke, Yuki,'' Some guys with 4 arms said, I growled.

''Its Yuki-sama to you.'' He wavered and stepped back, but carried on talking after.

''Sasuke-sama, Yuki-sama, we are Orochimaru's hand picked henchmen, if we disobey him, he WILL kill us.'' He explained, Sasuke and I exchanged glances, I then snatched the bottle of pills from the guys hands and threw one in my mouth. Sasuke saw this and did the same.

''I guess we are in your hands.'' I said to them. They nodded.

There it was, the pain. More than the other immence pain that I have ever experienced. I clutched my body and yelped, Sasuke...? What about him? I glanced at him and he was literally doing the same. The sound ninja took out scrolls and crouched down.

''Quickly! Or we will lose them!'' I couldn't take it, I collapsed on my knees, everything started going blurry. The last thing I saw was a big guy putting my into a box of some kind. I then heard them doing some jutsu, but I wasn't paying attention. I was too in pain than to pay attention. Sasuke got put in it too, he opened one eye and grabbed my hand, holding it and sending me a reasurring smirk. I nodded and smiled back. Then everything went black...
