Chapter 4
It's alright.
Don't be afraid.
Let me help you.
Why?
Because...I'm just like you.
(Y/N) stretched her arms as she woke up from a nap on a nice flat rock by a river. She turned on her stomach and stretched out her wings as she yawned.
(Y/N) decided that she didn't want to leave this monolithic island. At least, not just yet.
Even though she would like to travel she wasn't sure where else she would end up if she left. Would it be as beautiful as this place is? Or would it be even as big?
Sure, there were people living here, but it'll be hard for them to find (Y/N) since the place is just so big. She could just hide for days and they'll just forget about her.
Plus, there was just something that just prevented her leaving the place. She felt like if she left. She was leaving something or someone behind and she didn't like the feeling.
She also hasn't returned to the village for three days and in those three days she still couldn't get the Viking man out of her head. She missed seeing him and watching him talk and laugh with the other's. How she wished she could be part of the conversation.
However, today she decided she was going to return to the village tonight. As much as she wants more chicken and cabbage soup she couldn't help but feel kind of bad for taking the dragon helmet. It looked like it took a lot of work to make.
Since it's also been a few days she assumed that it'll be now safe to go back to the village as they probably gave up on trying to find her on the second day.

Night time fell and (Y/N) went on a mission to return the helmet and take some food.
She quickly flew towards the hut and made sure she looked around her surroundings. She sniffed the air, but didn't smell or sensed anything strong around her.
She flew up to the wooden platform and carefully and quietly placed the dragon helmet down.
She hesitates a bit. Debating if she should go to the food storage. Her brain says leave, but her stomach says go.
She got to the food storage and her nose was overwhelmed with the delicious meats, vegetables, and fruits. She licked her snout as she slightly drools from the smells.
She grabbed a chicken a nice large mutton and some other vegetables. Like she always does.
She then turns around to leave the food storage, carefully shutting the door behind her with her tail.
(Y/N) spread her wings and was about to take off until she heard a whoosh and her wings got tied together. (Y/N) let out a frighten yelp.
(Y/N) started to panic and glanced behind her and she saw a few people running towards her. Trying to keep herself from not toppling backward from the weight of her wings she leaned forwards and started to run.
She knew it was a bad idea when she came to the food storage. She should of just left the helmet and go back to the forest for a while. It was too soon to come back.
She was close to running into the forest until another whoosh was heard and her ankles got tied up together.
She fell to the ground squashing some of the food under her while some got thrown.
She turned on her side and a group of people walked up to her. They were wearing armor that have a strong dragon smell and looked like they were holding weapons. She also picked up a scent that smelled familiar.
"What are you?" A male voice asked out. This male's voice sounded different.
While they were talking to each other. (Y/N) reached down to her ankles and cut the rope with her claw.
They started to get closer and (Y/N) suddenly lost some control and got on all fours. She growled angrily at them like a wild animal.
"Whoa! Hey, it's okay we won't hurt you." The same male voice said.
"I've never seen a dragon like that before." A female voice said in awe. She had blonde hair and was wearing some sort of blue scaled armor
"A new species?" An excited male asked
"Is it even a dragon? Kinda looks like a scary monster." A different male voice stated
(Y/N) glared angrily and bared her sharp teeth at the male and growled. The male had long hair that was tied around his chin. He was wearing green with some orange and yellow scaled armor. He held both his hands up "Sorry."
The first male that spoke who had black armor on, raised a hand up that had some sort of green grass and walked towards (Y/N).
"Well, it looks like a dragon. I can try and tame it."
She glared at the hand and back at the male. Slightly confused and kind of offended that they think she is some sort of animal.
She swiped his hand away from her face letting him drop the grass onto the forest floor and the the group looked at her with surprise.
She stood up, towering over everyone and spoke.
"I'm not a dragon..." she growled out coldly. She then looked at the male that offended her "and I am not a monster." She looked at the whole group again.
"I'm an abomination."
